Excellent as always. However they stopped providing disposables which might affect some travelers. Do note that you cannot clock hilton points when booking on trip.

Stayed at the Regent for our 20 year anniversary. The room was very clean, perfect temperature, and they offered a welcome snack. There weren't any personalised welcomes unfortunately but the room was great. They no longer offer disposable bathroom amenities like toothbrush, toothpaste, cotton, combs, hair brush etc, you need to bring your own. We had the pleasure of enjoying Tai Pan Lounge. They are open 24/7 for tea and coffee but offer snacks during breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a specific period. We also enjoyed the spa. They don't have communal wet facilities, only in the room, so your time there is limited depending on the treatment you booked. They do have a health and fitness club in B3 though where you can enjoy such facilities at your leisure. We had our anniversary dinner at Robins Grill and it was perfect. Service was amazing, food was exquisite, and the vibe was so pleasant. Definitely coming back to Robins Grill, it was our second time there! Overall, our stay was beautiful and we didn't want to leave.

Great amenities, clean hotel and generally warm and kind staff. However, we were celebrating my husband’s birthday and they welcomed us ok - but nothing special given we paid for a special executive level treatment. Breakfast was plenty of options but some limitations to those who are vegan and would like healthier options. Staff lack attentiveness that belongs to 5 stars, they also lack ‘can do’ attitude to accommodate guests’ requests especially when they are so simple like for example - I asked multiple times at breakfast and in the lounge if they can serve me some watermelon (because I saw they had freshly cut and stored watermelon sitting in the fridge) but all staff repeatedly said no. It felt so silly looking at that watermelon just sitting there and me sitting so disappointed day after day, just craving it and not being able to get it so I went to the mall across the street and ate it there. I mean, not a five star experience really. Apart from great spa and fitness, we left pretty disappointed :(

Excellent and very friendly service throughout my entire stay from doorman to concierge to front desk to housekeeping to restaurant to gym. Great location next to Shandao temple MRT and within walking distance to Taipei station, nice restaurants, cafes and the famed Fuhang soy milk. I also enjoyed the excellent lunch buffer at the hotel restaurant Kitchen 12 at incredibly reasonable price. But please note that Marriott Bonvoy platinum elite or higher tier members do not receive the usual executive lounge access or free breakfast if you book via Trip.com (you need to book directly with Marriott to enjoy the benefits).

Great breakfast, like many other guests have commented, not a huge variety but they have all the necessary ingredients for a filling breakfast buffet and all food taste good! Swimming pool and gym are both comfortable and huge The only problem is it isn’t too close to the metro but I come here for business trip so it’s fine for me

My recent stay at the Parkview Hotel in Hualien was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The property is beautifully designed, surrounded by lush greenery and offering breathtaking views of the mountains and ocean. It truly feels like a peaceful resort retreat. Rooms & Comfort The room was spacious, clean, and very well maintained. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches — from the well-stocked amenities to the quiet atmosphere that allowed for a restful sleep. Facilities Parkview’s facilities are outstanding. The swimming pool, gym, and recreational areas are all modern and well-kept. Families will especially enjoy the wide range of activities and the children’s play areas. The large garden and open spaces make it perfect for morning walks or simply relaxing outdoors. Dining Breakfast was generous, offering both international and local ********* selections. The quality and freshness of the food were excellent, and the service staff were attentive, keeping everything replenished quickly. Service What stood out most was the hospitality. Every staff member I interacted with was polite, warm, and eager to help — whether at the front desk, in the restaurants, or around the hotel grounds. Their professionalism and friendliness added so much to the experience. Location The hotel is conveniently located just a short drive from Hualien city center and the train station, yet it feels like a peaceful resort away from the bustle. It’s also a great base for exploring Taroko Gorge and the surrounding natural attractions. ⸻ ✅ Overall: Parkview Hotel is a perfect choice for anyone visiting Hualien, whether for leisure, family holidays, or even a quiet getaway. I left feeling refreshed and would definitely return. Highly recommended!

1. Misleading Entrance Signage Upon arrival, we followed the signage pasted on a pillar that directed guests to a staircase entrance. However, when we reached that entrance, we were shocked to find the door marked with the sign “来宾止步” (“Guests Stop Here”). When we raised this with your staff, we were told that this entrance has not been in use since the COVID-19 period. While we understand that certain operations may have changed during the pandemic, COVID-19 restrictions have ended for more than two years. If the primary entrance has been permanently closed, why has no corrective action been taken and the misleading signage still left there? Carrying heavy luggage up and down a sloped path unnecessarily was frustrating and avoidable. 2. No Staff Assistance or Clear Signage at the New Entrance When we finally located the new entrance, there were no staff members on standby to assist us, nor was there any clear external signage indicating that this was the correct way to access the lobby. The explanation given later was that all staff were away assisting with parking which is not acceptable. At least one person should have been assigned to remain at the entrance, or the last person leaving should have arranged for another colleague to cover the position. In addition, the Operations Director mentioned that there is signage inside the new entrance directing guests to take the elevator to the lobby. However, this logic is flawed. If guests cannot locate the correct entrance in the first place, how could they possibly see a sign placed inside? 3. Poorly Trained and Unprofessional Front Desk Behavior After struggling outside, we called the number listed on Google. Only then did someone finally come out and lead us in. By that time, we were exhausted and upset. When we confronted the front desk staff about why they ignored us, despite us clearly visible outside the “来宾止步” glass door, making eye contact and knocking for help, but they claimed they “did not see us.” This excuse was clearly untrue, as we observed them looking in our direction. Even more disappointing, none of the front desk staff offered an apology even until we requested to speak to the Operations Director and asked him to review the CCTV footage. After reviewing the footage, the Operations Director confirmed that the front desk had not been alert and apologized on their behalf. However, he did not acknowledge that the front desk’s attitude and lack of sincerity were also serious problems. Being “not alert enough” and showing no sense of apology or empathy are two entirely different issues. As an international hotel, the front desk is the first impression of your service. Regardless of the quality of your facilities, this poor experience completely overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay. It also severely damages the reputation of Kagaya Group — a brand that has long been admired for its exemplary Japanese hospitality and politeness. Although we appreciate the Operations Director’s effort to make amends by offering us a meal and gifts (which we declined), it remains undeniable that this incident reflects a failure in staff training and management oversight. We hope that management will seriously review this incident, especially the issues of: - Inadequate and misleading signage at the entrance - Lack of staff presence and assistance upon guest arrival - Poor front desk awareness and unprofessional behavior We trust that Kagaya Group will uphold its proud tradition of service by addressing these problems promptly and ensuring no other guests experience such treatment in the future. Delightful and quaint hotel. It is a short walk from the station but you have to cross over several roads. It is pain when it rains and exiting from entrance 5 from the station means walking up a long flight of stairs. Not fun if you have alot of luggage but it's nothing a cab ride can't resolve! The bus stop is nearby and everywhere is a short hop on the bus once you figure out the routes. Hotel is clean and service is attentive. There is always someone at the counter who'd jump out to open the main door for you (they don't have a dedicated doorman). Breakfast that many previous guests highlighted was really nice - they let you choose the cereal, cold cuts, cheese, breads and pastries, and main course the night before from an online menu and your choices are presented to you at breakfast. The breakfast was good - they even offered sparkling wine - but it was quite a struggle to eat breakfast like that every day over the period of our stay (after our first day). Unlike the run of the mill buffet that, where you can always cut down on the amount you choose to eat day to day, the breakfast served here is fixed. Would definitely suggest you choose to eat at least one breakfast at the hotel or even go for lunch / dinner at their restaurant for the experience. Quality of food is good. We got a full bottle of wine with our room and you can enjoy more wine every evening with the bottles they generously place in bar area in front of the lifts on every floor. The hotel has a tie up with several wineries hence the wines available for happy hour. The rooms are clean and they have lots of variety of snacks available at the lift lobby bar area together with your choice of hot beverages. We enjoyed our stay. 😊

We stayed 3 nights at The Tango Jiantan and really enjoyed it. The location is super convenient, right next to Jiantan MRT and close to Shilin Night Market. Our room was quiet, stylish, and very clean, with a comfy bed and a big bathtub. We loved the smart features like electric curtains and the Japanese toilet. Staff were friendly, and breakfast was simple but good. Great choice for comfort and easy travel in Taipei.

The location of the hotel is just right in the city center. If you would like to travel by subway, it’s an easy 7 minute walk. It’s a very small hotel without pool. First room category is quite small. If you stay 2 people will be very tight, no space to walk. Breakfast is not something to expect but they have smoked salmon which is quite nice. Service is a 4-star hotel service. Overall, a good hotel to stay if the price doesn’t surge above NTD 5,000
