"I had a fantastic stay here. The check-in staff was very warm and welcoming, helping me to carry my luggage up the stairs and even reserve tickets for the Suzhou Museum. The room was spacious, very comfortable and thoughtfully arranged, it gave me the feeling of a classical scholar's study. They provided generous toiletries, water bottles, and biluochun tea, which I enjoyed sipping in the room. The location is convenient, only a few minute's walk away from the metro station, the Lion Grove Garden, the Humble Administrator's Garden, the Suzhou Museum, and Pingjiang Road. Highly recommended, especially for any foreign guests!"

"The Hotel is quite new, very nice. I have asked for a late check-out at 2 pm which was no problem. It is always difficult to rate the location. It is far away from the citycenter but for my needs, it was very good, a 15 minutes walk to the subway. I did not have breakfast but dinner was good."

VVieraskäyttäjäThe hotel is conveniently located close to the dock. The hotel includes breakfast and can provide lunch and dinner. All dishes are made from local production. The dishes are good. The host and the staff are all very accommodating and try their best to help and are always available. The hotel was fully refurbished when we came. It was clean, well furnished and well maintained. The cost appeared reasonable even during the national holiday. We chose a room with a balcony. The terrasse adds a lot of convenience and is really enjoyable. We used it often. We did spend a pleasant time there. An important reminder comes as the hotel is close, maybe one of the closest to the dock. Therefore the activity around the hotel is intense, starts early and finishes late. This can affect light sleepers and is reinforced by the fact that the island is a heaven of silence. The island is perfect to reconnect to the nature, the slowness of life. We did appreciate our time walking around the island, visiting every small street and enjoying the pleasant view. People are very nice, organisation in the island is good and provides all the necessities. A good place for one or few days stay with or without children.

XXanderdebeerAn amazing stay! Took my girlfriend for 1 night stay in the 270° club room with the big hot tub. Very spacious, great views and very clean. The receptionists are very kind and helpful. We arrived in the evening and received a complimentary bottle of wine. They also offered us our afternoon tea, even though we missed the time frame. Breakfast was great and the environment is classy. It's definitely worth the price amd I will be back for sure.

The room was spacious, a huge window facing hillside that allowed a calm, relaxing retreat from a busy city life. The only negative thing I could mention is the creaking bed, but otherwise it's comfortable. The breakfast is Chinese style, so don't expect a continental one, but it was very good, tasty and nutritious (baozi, egg, porridge, corn, sweet potato) There aren't many restaurants open nearby, and basically no shops at all, so better to bring some snack just in case you can't find something to your taste.And if you arrive without a car, expect to walk a lot, but the lake and the surroundings are beautiful, I definitely recommend this place.

The hosts and staff were all really friendly and willing to even prepare some dinner for us after we arrived late in the evening. The gardens are beautiful and well-tended and lovely to just walk around in or sit and enjoy. We had a queen bed room Mountain View - which was quite spacious, smelled fresh and was exceptionally clean, with sufficient amenities even a balcony and mini-sauna. Breakfast was local-style and very filling. This location is great for a remote getaway experience, for some peace and quiet and if you want to explore nature. The only thing to note is that the surrounding village is rather small so there aren’t many other food options/ stores etc, so best to come prepared. All in all, we had a wonderful time and are hoping to return in the spring!

DDrewVisionAbove average in all areas. Only 2 small things, but difficult to complain at all. Amazing service, above average for China. Food was not just above average - top level and not too expensive. All facilities were excellent, though the kyaking in the photos do not exist anymore. A small, but still a reason I booked was it showed kyacking for kids, which my son loves, therefore one (but not the only reason) for booking. Trip.com should update this image. I would suggest also redoing the lobby area, its way too small. Its one of the smallest lobby's in any 5 star hotel, and when its on the weekend and everyone booking in at the same time, its very noisy and crowded. The lobby and reception area should be 2-3 times the size. But these two negatives do not distract from the many positives which were above 5-stars. If these other two could be fixed it would be one of the top hotel stays in China.

AAnonyymi käyttäjäLovely new hotel, I feel so spoiled by them it’s going to be hard to go back to normal hotels. The room is so so spacious, even without considering the courtyard space. The room was designed with relaxation in mind - bath tub with bath salts, all sorts of tea bags and tea leaves, incense, essential oil. We even got fragrance pouches when we arrived. The hot tub in the courtyard is also really nice to soak in, just a bit cold in winter because you have to walk out from the cozy bedroom into the courtyard. On Christmas Eve they even gave us a cute bamboo muffin cupcake with a snowman topper. Our room came with breakfast, which was a good thing because the hotel is very far from everything else. Breakfast quality is passable, but the restaurant manager on duty on our first two days was much more attentive than the one on our last day, which is ironic as there were more customers on the first two days due to a tour group being there. There are two malls that are about 5-10 mins drive away, but I recommend paradise walk over golden eagle as the former has more shops operating. Apart from the location of the hotel being one downside, another downside was the location of our room as we had to pass through a flight of stairs. So we had to get the staff to help with the luggage since there were too many steps to climb to get to the hotel lobby. Nonetheless it was a very nice hotel! Would recommend for short stays to pamper yourself!
