Although the weather didn't quite cooperate during my stay, the hotel's fantastic service more than made up for it. The hotel's interior design is simply stunning. Every aspect of the decor exudes elegance and sophistication. The attention to detail is evident, and it creates a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout the premises. The architecture and furnishings are tastefully chosen, providing a luxurious and comfortable ambiance for guests. One of the highlights of this hotel is undoubtedly the breathtaking view. Unfortunately, I encountered some bad luck with the weather during my stay, which limited my ability to fully enjoy the surroundings. However, even through the mist and rain, I could sense the beauty that lay beyond the hotel's windows. I can only imagine how magical it would be on a clear day. The service at this hotel is truly exceptional. The staff members are attentive, friendly, and go above and beyond to ensure guests have a memorable experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed and well taken care of. The hotel's commitment to customer satisfaction is evident in every interaction, making the stay truly enjoyable. breakfast was simply delicious! Hotel Victoria Lauberhorn Wengen, a Faern Collection Hotel, is a wonderful place to stay in the heart of Switzerland’s breathtaking nature. The hotel is located in the incredibly picturesque village of Wengen, offering fantastic views of the mountains, the Lauterbrunnen Valley, and the iconic Jungfrau region. The location is simply stunning — peaceful, fresh mountain air, and a true alpine atmosphere that makes your stay unforgettable. The room was very comfortable, clean, and equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. You can feel the attention to detail throughout the hotel: comfortable beds, quality linens, a good shower, and a cozy interior. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and always ready to help. What stands out the most is the excellent value for money. For this level of comfort, service, and such an amazing location, the hotel is truly impressive. Ski lifts, hiking routes, and local restaurants are all within walking distance, making it a perfect base for exploring the area. I highly recommend Hotel Victoria Lauberhorn to anyone who wants to enjoy the beauty of the Swiss Alps and have a comfortable, memorable stay.

The Aarburg Hotel & Café is a charming little spot in Interlaken, just a 15-minute walk from Interlaken West train station. While it’s tempting to take the shortcut, I’d recommend sticking to the main road, especially in snowy weather—it’s much easier for pulling luggage. Check-in was smooth and efficient, but do note there are no lifts in this cozy hotel. Carrying heavy bags up the narrow stairs was a bit of a workout, so pack light if you can. One of the highlights of my stay was definitely the coffee—it lived up to all the glowing Google reviews. Breakfast was simple but wholesome, with fresh bread, croissants, yogurt, and healthy toppings like dried berries, almonds, and chia seeds. The café is pet-friendly, so don’t be surprised to see a few furry friends around. The room itself was modest but comfortable. However, as the building is wooden, sounds tend to carry. We wondered if we were bothering other occupants but thankfully, no complaints! The location is peaceful, away from the main road, though the church bells that sound at intervals through the night was a little disturbing on the first night. With a supermarket near the train station for quick snacks and essentials, this hotel is both convenient and quiet. Perfect for couples looking for a laid-back stay. I’d happily book here again if I return to Interlaken.

Room was very clean and cozy. The hotel staff was very friendly and supportive. They also gave me a ticket for free transportation in Interlaken during my stay there. Coffee was provided for free at the lounge. The location was convenient to go to the Interlaken West train station!

This is by far the best hotels I've gotten in Switzerland. We got upgraded to a suite with patio although we couldn't use the kitchen provided as they said it'll come with cleaning cost if used. But very very happy for the free upgrade for our honeymoon. We will come back!

Great location right next to Interlaken West station, which makes getting around super easy. The hotel is modern, very clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Rooms are comfortable but a bit on the small side, and some amenities like a fridge would have been nice. Overall, a very good stay — convenient and reliable base for exploring the area. Thank you for the hospitality

The hotel has a good location with a nice view and is directly by the river. Parking is available with plenty of space, but it is charged per day. The hotel itself feels very old-fashioned. Late check-in was advertised as available 24 hours, but the promised email with the access code never arrived. After calling, someone answered immediately and helped us enter. At check-in, we also had to pay the tourism tax and parking fees. The room was very outdated and smelled poorly ventilated when we entered. The heating barely worked, was only lukewarm, and turned off completely during the night, making the room very cold. When we mentioned this at breakfast, the staff reacted in a dismissive way, stating that the room was not cold and saying “we are not in Africa, where it needs to be that warm.” This comment felt inappropriate and unprofessional, and after that reaction we did not feel comfortable raising further concerns. The room had a balcony with a nice mountain view, but the balcony was shared with other guests, which was not mentioned in advance. The bathroom was private and had a bathtub with a shower, but it was very outdated. Hot water was available, however the shower curtain had an unpleasant smell. Breakfast was provided with limited selection, which we were aware of beforehand. The breakfast room itself was fine, but the staff generally appeared grumpy and very loud, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. Check-out was easy and uncomplicated. The hotel is relatively inexpensive compared to others, but this does not justify the outdated condition or the way guests are treated. With better service and some renovation, the hotel could be much more pleasant.

Stayed at Hotel Toscana for 2 nights (Nov. 13-15, 2024). One issue we had was we lost a necklace. We were wearing scarves so my sister and I left 2 gold necklaces at the table. We didn’t know there will be housekeeping as we’re only staying for 2 nights. All of us were out 10AM and went back 6PM. When we got back, 1 of the necklace was gone. We looked everywhere, under the mattress and bed, all sides of the table, inside the bathroom, and every side of the room, but it was gone. The receptionist was helful enough to check with her boss and the housekeeping but who would admit they stole something, right? I just hope whoever took it found a good use out of it. Other than that, the location is perfect, it’s within a walking distance (around 7-10min) to Interlaken West station. Lots of shops and restaurants in the area as well. The hotel room is equipped with kettle and glass cups, no mugs. No airconditioning unit but it was pretty cold during our stay so we just opened the window a bit and it was fine. It was a very quiet neighborhood with nice views of the mountain and people paragliding. The room looked clean the moment we entered, but while we were searching under the bed and tables, dust has piled up underneath, it was very dusty like it hasn’t been cleaned for months and they only sweep the visible areas of the floor. The bathroom smelled like pee even before we used it. I hope they improve these parts, the hotel’s not that bad if you’ve experienced staying there (in my opinion).
