"This hotel is very close to Interlaken Ost train station, only about a 2-minute walk. There is a Coop supermarket right across the street and near the station, which is extremely convenient, especially for a solo traveler.
Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. The hotel was quiet, clean, and spacious. The front desk staff were very friendly and always greeted me with a warm smile. Breakfast offered a good variety of options and was enjoyable.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to solo travelers looking for a convenient and comfortable stay in Interlaken."

"Sorry it took me awhile to give my review as I just returned home.
We are so grateful to Hey Hotel for saving our holiday in Switzerland! We had originally booked an Airbnb (to experience stay in a house) near the interlaken west train station. Upon checking in, to our horror, the flat is so disgustingly dirty and smelled rotten. Not only that, there was roadwork in front and the security to the unit is also lacking. We immediately booked our remaining stay at Hey and our trip was saved! The service staff, a bespectacled gentleman, gave us a free check-in early in the morning and upgraded us to the best room for 4 — no qn asked! We have clean room and best view. The breakfast has amazingly good spread. And at a much cheaper rate than the Airbnb which offered nothing but burnt spice, dirty broken toilet and sticky, greasy flooring."

"Great location just 3 mins walk from the train station (Grindelwald Bahnhof) and bus station. Nice and panoramic view from the window. Breakfast was great! The hotel is close to the city, shops, Coop and many other stores. Everything is just in the walking distance and don’t have to walk up the hill. I would definitely recommend this hotel!"

It’s an old building, but everything is very clean and well-maintained.
The atmosphere is super cozy, It’s located slightly away from the typical tourist areas, which makes it peaceful and quiet, but still close enough to get anywhere easily. The town itself is calm and very pleasant to stay in, perfect for spending a whole day just relaxing in the courtyard without going anywhere.
It’s also very accessible from Interlaken or Spiez — just a short 15-minute bus ride.
Even though the bus only comes once an hour, it’s easy to manage if you check the schedule.

"The hotel is very beautiful and extremely clean. The service is excellent, and the breakfast is very good.
The only thing to keep in mind is that it’s about a 9-minute walk uphill from the nearest bus stop when going to the hotel, which can be a bit tiring. However, when going back to the bus stop, it’s much easier since it’s downhill.
The bathroom is a bit small, but overall it’s good and functional. The view is absolutely amazing, and the room is decent and comfortable for a hotel in this price range."

WWanderfieVery nice design hotel, new and spacious, but what it’s lacking is the warmness of the staff. Only the new girl working there is pretty nice, the rest of the staff has lukewarm attitude. The first room I got was nice, they gave me a double bed instead of a single bed that I booked but upon enter, there was a pair of socks hanging on the toilet door. Called the housekeeping and they removed it but also realised the room is very hot, but AC is not adjustable as it is centralised. So they gave me a fan instead. Later at night I also realised it was pretty noisy as the alfresco of the restaurant is right beneath my room. And then the toilet shower is broken. I tried calling the reception and housekeeping at 9-10pm but nobody pick up which I assumed it’s probably not 24hrs service. I bear with the broken shower. Next day morning I asked to change the room to quieter one but I need to get all my stuff out by 11am which I did. I went to the reception and told them about the broken shower, with no apologies, the guy just say ya ya, that’s an easy fix. I’m still glad they changed the room for me. But like I say still hope for a better service with the money I paid. Also not enough hanging area in the bathroom, especially when the first room I got… no hanging area at all, so can’t hang towel or clothes.

I liked the heating in the room because it was very cold and dark outside after 5 p.m. The heating was great for cold weather. Also, the breakfast was good, with a variety of tasty dishes. The staff serving breakfast were very kind and attentive, especially Frank, who was professional in serving the guests.
However, the single room’s amenities were not very good. The bedsheet had dark spots near the charging station located at the head of the bed. There was a clog in the sink’s pipe, and water didn’t drain properly. The view was not pleasant as it faced a building under refurbishment.
Additionally, the staff at check-in were unable to provide sufficient information about local sightseeing and dining options; they only recommended one restaurant.

Check-in was smooth and efficient, but do note there are no lifts in this cozy hotel. Carrying heavy bags up the narrow stairs was a bit of a workout, so pack light if you can.
One of the highlights of my stay was definitely the coffee—it lived up to all the glowing Google reviews. Breakfast was simple but wholesome, with fresh bread, croissants, yogurt, and healthy toppings like dried berries, almonds, and chia seeds. The café is pet-friendly, so don’t be surprised to see a few furry friends around.
The room itself was modest but comfortable. However, as the building is wooden, sounds tend to carry. We wondered if we were bothering other occupants but thankfully, no complaints! The location is peaceful, away from the main road, though the church bells that sound at intervals through the night was a little disturbing on the first night.
With a supermarket near the train station for quick snacks and essentials, this hotel is both convenient and quiet. Perfect for couples looking for a laid-back stay. I’d happily book here again if I return to Interlaken.

Is pleasure of staying at a wonderful hotel that left a lasting impression. From its impeccable design to the delectable breakfast, my experience was delightful overall. Although the weather didn't quite cooperate during my stay, the hotel's fantastic service more than made up for it.
The hotel's interior design is simply stunning. Every aspect of the decor exudes elegance and sophistication. The attention to detail is evident, and it creates a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout the premises. The architecture and furnishings are tastefully chosen, providing a luxurious and comfortable ambiance for guests.
One of the highlights of this hotel is undoubtedly the breathtaking view. Unfortunately, I encountered some bad luck with the weather during my stay, which limited my ability to fully enjoy the surroundings. However, even through the mist and rain, I could sense the beauty that lay beyond the hotel's windows. I can only imagine how magical it would be on a clear day.
The service at this hotel is truly exceptional. The staff members are attentive, friendly, and go above and beyond to ensure guests have a memorable experience. Llisbhlismp02582nd time to come here. First time with family and although we had to stay in 2 rooms, it was fun to compare each others rooms and layout.
Breakfast is expansive (eggs looked a little old), but great selection of breads, deli items and so many jams to choose from. Cold dishes had a much higher quality than warm dishes. As it’s buffet style, it can be difficult to keep a sense of cleanliness, but they try hard.
Dream hotel at night as you can see great views.
Front desk staff is super helpful and remember me from my first stay.
I would like to return again in the future.

MMy DangRoom was very clean and cozy. The hotel staff was very friendly and supportive. They also gave me a ticket for free transportation in Interlaken during my stay there. Coffee was provided for free at the lounge. The location was convenient to go to the Interlaken West train station!

The hotel is modern, very clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice.
Rooms are comfortable but a bit on the small side, and some amenities like a fridge would have been nice.
Overall, a very good stay — convenient and reliable base for exploring the area.

AAyhan98The hotel has a good location with a nice view and is directly by the river. Parking is available with plenty of space, but it is charged per day. The hotel itself feels very old-fashioned.
Late check-in was advertised as available 24 hours, but the promised email with the access code never arrived. After calling, someone answered immediately and helped us enter. At check-in, we also had to pay the tourism tax and parking fees.
The room was very outdated and smelled poorly ventilated when we entered. The heating barely worked, was only lukewarm, and turned off completely during the night, making the room very cold. When we mentioned this at breakfast, the staff reacted in a dismissive way, stating that the room was not cold and saying “we are not in Africa, where it needs to be that warm.” This comment felt inappropriate and unprofessional, and after that reaction we did not feel comfortable raising further concerns.
The room had a balcony with a nice mountain view, but the balcony was shared with other guests, which was not mentioned in advance. The bathroom was private and had a bathtub with a shower, but it was very outdated. Hot water was available, however the shower curtain had an unpleasant smell.
Breakfast was provided with limited selection, which we were aware of beforehand. The breakfast room itself was fine, but the staff generally appeared grumpy and very loud, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. Check-out was easy and uncomplicated.
The hotel is relatively inexpensive compared to others, but this does not justify the outdated condition or the way guests are treated. With better service and some renovation, the hotel could be much more pleasant.
