Amidst the bustling depths of Wulin and by the banks of the thousand - year - old Grand Canal, there stands an art hotel brimming with literary charm. Quietly and unassumingly, it exudes a unique sense of refinement and elegance.
Drawing inspiration from the West Lake, it is named "Xilizhi", a name that bears the deep imprint of Hangzhou. An elegant and gentle atmosphere of the Jiangnan region comes rushing forth.
Nestled in the very heart of prosperity, with the West Lake Cultural Square, Hangzhou Tower, and the thousand - year - old Grand Canal surrounding it, Xilizhi Art Hotel hides above the 19th floor of the city's neon lights, in the deepest part of the urban bustle, enjoying a peaceful haven.
Located at the core of Jianguo Road and Zhaohui Road, and at the cultural heart of the Beijing - Hangzhou Grand Canal and the ancient Genshan Gate, "Xilizhi" overlooks the bustling lights of the city, leisurely enjoys the precipitation of historical vicissitudes, and allows one to feel the most authentic Hangzhou flavor.
"This hotel is easily one of the top places I’ve ever stayed at in all my travels. Aside from the friendly staff, spacious rooms, affordable rates, and great location, what really stood out was the wide range of amenities they provide, many of which other hotels usually don’t.
They have a self-service amenities corner at the reception with items like sanitary pads, heat pads, eye steam masks, lotion, tea bags, coffee bags, and more, all available for guests to take freely whenever needed. Everything is displayed openly, which makes it so convenient as you don’t even need to ask unless they need to restock it. Since we travelled in March during spring, the heat pads were especially appreciated.
Another highlight was their in-house café. The coffee was superb, honestly better than some coffee cafés out there. I ordered ice latte every morning before I leave the hotel!
Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended for travellers looking for comfort, convenience, and thoughtful service."
