Vientiane Hostellit

My first time staying at this type of hostel was interesting to say the least, a new person came into our room and this where the nightmare begun. He proceeded to enter at 2am making as much noise as possible when he finally managed to lie down in his bed which was next to mine all I could hear him saying was “do not rape, do not kill” continuously for 5minutes. He smelt like alcohol and then decided to play with my curtain and open it when I asked him if he’s alright and then he left the room. When he reentered the room 5minutes later he walked around before trying to get into my bed when I got spooked switched on the light and told him politely to piss off. He then said sorry wrong bed. He carried on speaking to himself in bed before trying to leave the room not before stumbling around the room. He then reentered a second time and tried to open my curtain and enter my bed again. I was woken up at 2:30am and then again at 3:30am and then at 4:50 am trying to enter my bed for a 3rd time saying “oh yeah wrong bed” now I’m sure this is a one off occurrence but I don’t usually stay at hostels and to experience this on one of my first stays at this place is crazy. Breakfast was fine—if you overlook the stale pancake. Day one, I got three pieces. Day two, only two. At this rate, by day three I’ll be fighting for my single, lonely slice.

I had a really enjoyable stay at Muulao Hostel in Vientiane. The place is exceptionally clean which immediately made me feel comfortable. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and the service overall felt excellent. The location is good and within easy reach of the main sights, cafés, and the night market, though it’s a tiny bit removed from some busier spots. Still, it was convenient enough for walking around. Overall, Muulao Hostel is a fantastic choice, especially if you’re a solo traveler looking for a clean, welcoming, and well-run place to stay in Vientiane.

I don't even know what to call it, a hostel or a guesthouse. I think a guesthouse is more accurate, so I stayed there from November 21st to 23rd. The most positive thing I liked about it was the helpful staff. They always tried to help me and seemed conscientious. I won't list the downsides; I think I answered the survey's key points fairly, giving the required number of stars. I wish you prosperity.

I had an amazing stay at TT Hostel in Vientiane! The best part? It's incredibly affordable without compromising on quality. The location is super strategic, making it easy to explore the city's main attractions. I was able to walk to nearby restaurants, shops, and landmarks with ease. The staff were friendly and welcoming, ensuring I had a comfortable stay. The hostel itself was clean and well-maintained, with a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. Overall, I'd highly recommend TT Hostel to anyone looking for a budget-friendly and conveniently located place to stay in Vientiane. Five stars and can't wait to come back!

The place is small and nice. Nearby to many temples and patuxai monument. Within 2 kms of radius there are many place to visit but far from night market. Breakfast is available and can cook by yourself and also they give you one free drink coupon during your stay which can be redeemed anytime. Overall it’s a nice experience and recommend for sure.

Location is nearest to thai embassy for visa extension. Free towels and two mini soap bars provided. Air conditioning and location is the best. Night 10pm guest house door close. So you've have to call when you late arrive.

The hotel is good! The staff and service are great, and the location is convenient. There is a pool, a mini gym, Wi-Fi, and outdoor seating areas where you can relax. However, the check-in and check-out times are a bit earlier than those of other nearby hotels. I’d suggest setting the check-out time to 1 p.m., which would be more convenient for travelers.

Location is fine…. There is a couple of problems that occurred when I was there. 1. To many mosquito in my room. I have the door close and I don’t know how they are into my room. Every day I have to kill at least 20-30 mosquito. I even have the room spray and it doesn’t help at all. 2. I brought a special bun mi and I pay one of the worker there. When I check out the worker confront me and said that I didn’t pay. I just gave him the money and check out. The owner seem nice. I wouldn’t go back.

This is the most wonderful hostel I have ever stayed in the capital city of Laos, Vientiane and there is no doubt about it. If any person wants to stay near the river at a low price, he/ she has to book this hostel. However, the best thing about the hostel is the quality of the free breakfast. So, it would be a cool place for any backpackers.
