Tätä InterContinental-hotellia kannattaa ehdottomasti suositella. Sillä on erinomainen sijainti ja kaikkiin vanhankaupungin nähtävyyksiin pääsee kävellen. Jokainen hotellin työntekijä on erinomainen. Heti saapuessani vastaanottotiskille Alexian suloinen hymy oli kuin viileä tuulenvire, joka karkotti heti matkan väsymyksen. Järjestetty huone oli tuplasti lämmin. Kultainen avain on yksinkertaisesti Googlen tosielämän versio, josta löytyy vastaukset kaikkiin kysymyksiin. Ravintolan tuotteet ovat runsaita ja herkullisia, ja palvelu on täydellistä. Sattui olemaan vaimoni syntymäpäivä vierailuni aikana, ja hotelli lähetti hienoa viiniä, jälkiruokia ja siunauksia. Stayed for 3 nights in early September 2025. The hotel is located near the old town which is very convenient for sightseeing, as most of the places are within walking distance. It is refurbished from an old bank and retains the charm of the former building including a nice lobby which was previously the banking hall. They also have a vault with a bar within. The room was comfortable and had all the basic amenities including a safebox. They have USB charger built in as well. Wifi was fast. The hotel also does have a swimming pool in the basement with wet and dry sauna facilities. The old town is right behind the hotel. Staff were professional and I managed to have slightly early check in thanks to a trainee lady (I did not catch the name) who took time to helped look for available room.

Great Location – But Book Entire Stay Upfront to Avoid Price Jump Hilton is in a great location – right on the border of the main road and pedestrian-friendly areas that lead straight into the old town. Perfect for exploring the city on foot. When I arrived, I checked out the available rooms and asked the receptionist for the current rate. The price through Trip.com was considerably lower, so I booked it online and received a substantial discount for the same room. I enjoyed my stay enough to extend for a second night. However, I was surprised to find that the price for Monday night had jumped up significantly and matched the original reception rate—much higher than my first night. Same room, just a higher cost. Tip: If you're planning to stay more than one night, I recommend booking the full duration upfront through Trip.com to lock in the best rate. Prices can change daily, and you may not get the same deal by booking night by night. Overall, a comfortable stay in a great spot—but be smart with how you book.

Olin erittäin pettynyt oleskeluuni. Huoneissa oli voimakas ja epämiellyttävä jäteveden haju, joka oli havaittavissa myös käytävällä, jopa 10 metrin päästä. Olin 5. kerroksessa, ja hotellin maineesta huolimatta tämä ei ollut sitä, mitä odotin. Lisäksi läheisestä baarista tai ravintolasta kuului kovaäänistä musiikkia keskiyöhön asti, mikä vaikeutti nukkumista huomattavasti. Minun piti pitää ikkuna auki hajun vuoksi, ja niin teki myös työtoverini naapurihuoneessa – mutta yölämpötilan ollessa noin 8–9 °C huoneessa oli epämukavan kylmä. Kaiken kaikkiaan kokemus jäi paljon odotuksia heikommaksi näin hyvämaineiselta hotellilta.

I stayed at Moxy Bucharest Old Town from 22–25 August 2025 and really enjoyed my experience. The hotel is in a great location, right in the heart of the Old Town, which made it easy to explore the city on foot. The room was very clean and comfortable, perfect for a short city break. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always happy to help with any questions. Overall, a modern and well-run hotel that I would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Bucharest.

We had a lovely stay overall. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the room was a good size — very pleasant and well kept. We were quite happy with the overall experience. Breakfast could be improved, as there weren’t many healthy options available. Most of the choices were heavier, American-style dishes, so a bit more variety would make a nice difference. It would also be great if the room cleaning were a bit more thorough each day, rather than just making the bed and changing towels. When guests pay for a hotel stay, consistent quality and attention to detail are always appreciated.

The stay was really great! the communication was smooth. The flat is clean and has everything one needs. I would ask the owner to consider adding a small trash bin in the bathroom, for women who need to dispose of certain things, without having to go back to the flat (my flat had a completely separate private bathroom, so I had to go through a small corridor to go back and forth, but this corridor is protected by a main door and gives access to only the flat and another one). The second suggestion would be to leave a roll of plastic bags, for the bin in the kitchen. The location is a bit far from the center, so if you want to stay for a short period, I would advise another location (it takes around 30min to get to the center). The area is rather quiet, although Bucharest is known for the heavy traffic (and, apparently, many speed drivers and cars with tuned exhausters?). The washing machine and the drying rack was a very nice bonus, they even leave some pods to do two loads. overall really great!

Our stay at the Mercure Bucharest was truly memorable, thanks to the exceptional service and warm hospitality. The rooms were spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the city. The attention to detail in the room's amenities made our stay even more enjoyable. A special mention goes to the receptionist, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. She provided us with amazing suggestions for places to visit in Romania, turning our holiday into an incredible experience. Her local knowledge and enthusiasm made all the difference, guiding us to hidden gems we might have otherwise missed. The breakfast at the hotel was fantastic, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that catered to all tastes. It was the perfect way to start our days of sightseeing. The hotel's location is very convenient, with easy access to Bucharest's main attractions and public transport. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, Mercure Bucharest offers a welcoming and comfortable stay. We left with wonderful memories and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

The hotel is very big. It is linked to the radisson blue hotel next door and be accessed without leaving the inside. The breakfast choice was smaller than i expected but was still very tasty. Not sure it is worth the price to be honest.
