From assisting with ferry bookings to surprising me on my birthday with a beautifully decorated bed and a delightful cake, their thoughtfulness was truly heartwarming. Special thanks to Carell, Jojo, Harnie, John, and Arvin for their outstanding support. The resort's happy vibe upon arrival sets the tone, and you leave with a smile, longing for more. The complimentary tours, seamlessly integrated into the package, were made exceptional by the supportive guides, creating a private and well-timed experience. Opting for the overwater bungalow was a unique and enchanting experience, adding to the paradise that is El Nido Lagen Island. The buffet-style meals offered three times a day were a culinary delight. I wholeheartedly recommend El Nido Resorts Lagen Island for an unforgettable and highly recommended getaway. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Nacpan Beach Villa, and it was an unforgettable experience. The room was well-equipped with everything I needed, from comfortable bedding to modern amenities, making my stay extremely convenient and enjoyable. The cleanliness and attention to detail were impeccable, ensuring a very comfortable stay. Upon my arrival, the staff greeted me warmly and were incredibly helpful throughout my visit. They provided excellent service, answering all my questions and offering great recommendations for local activities and dining options. Their friendliness and willingness to assist made me feel truly welcome. The view from the villa is breathtaking. Waking up to the sight of the pristine beach and the sound of the waves was a dream come true. The natural beauty of Nacpan Beach is unparalleled, and the villa's location allows you to fully immerse yourself in this stunning environment. Whether it was a sunrise stroll along the shore or a sunset view from my room, every moment was picture-perfect. One of the most memorable experiences was gazing at the starry sky at night. The clear skies and lack of light pollution make it a perfect spot for stargazing. It was magical to see the stars so vividly, adding a special touch to my stay.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Huni Lio. We stayed in the family room. You can comfortably sleep 4 to 6 if you use the sofa. The crew really took care of us. Lio is a nice relaxed respite from the back packer hustle and bustle of Elnido. Dining choices are so tasty. The beach is beautiful. Watch out for big waves and sandflies/ nikniks - cover up, pack antihistamines and insect repellants. Just a few helpful tips and feedback: 1. Improve the brewed coffee that comes with breakfast or waive the charges to serve the coffee from the expresso machine. 2. The laundry and swimmers hanging in balconies facing the mangrove forest won’t dry even after 5 days leaving a stank so bad. We moved our rack indoors to dry in front of the AC. 3. There’s a constart hum and vibration at the end of the room, last bed. Light sleepers should avoid this bed. Finally wish there was a second bathroom lol but overall the waiting and jesting is part of the wholesome family fun.

We stayed for a night at this hidden villa, and it felt like a true home away from home. The staff were incredibly kind and respectful, providing excellent service that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The food was a highlight—absolutely delicious, with a healthy breakfast offered in the morning. You can even request a floating breakfast, which added a special touch to the experience. While the villa is tucked away down a short gravel road, the peaceful and private setting made it worth the effort. The villa is kid-friendly, but families should be cautious around the tiled swimming pool area. There’s no TV, so if you’re traveling with children, make sure their devices are charged. Fortunately, the Wi-Fi is strong and reliable. Overall, it was a lovely, relaxing stay with amazing food and warm hospitality. We highly recommend this villa for a cozy and memorable getaway.

Everything went well from the check-in till we left the place. The staff were friendly and helpful, and generally accommodating. The location was perfect for this trip because it was partly work as well which required to go to Kalye Artisano. The hotels sustainability efforts were evident and commendable, although I would've appreciated bigger trash bins inside the room. Breakfast food was ok, variety not so good, enough to fill stomach before you head off to your day's activity. The pool was nice, and the celebrity room was aesthetically pleasing, smelled good, and very comfortable and relaxing, The other rooms we had was equally relaxing and exceptionally clean. The water dispensers were placed strategically, and cable channels available, although the wifi on the 2nd floor where the suite is was frustratingly weak. Having said all those, I would stay again when in El Nido, and would recommend to friends and family.

From the moment we left the port, our Matinloc experience already felt special. The boat ride was smooth, and the boatmen immediately assisted us with our luggage. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Ms. Jam from FO/Reservations, who gave us a friendly tour and clear briefing. Even before the trip, Reservations Manager Ms. Jeannette had already been very responsive to my emails, making the planning stress-free. Our VIP villa, perched on a cliff, offered an astounding view that raised the standard of our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the generous souvenirs and hygiene kits provided. The staff were consistently attentive and polite special thanks to FO Supervisor Ms. Jhona and their Korean General Manager for adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Highlights of our stay included the refreshing fresh fruit shakes, fun water activities, the amazing walking path lined with century-old trees, and of course, the delicious food (their pizza was a standout). The WiFi was surprisingly fast..even powered by Starlink at the port. We also appreciated the thoughtful gesture of staff recommending where to get beers in town since they don’t sell alcohol on-site. Matinloc truly combines paradise-like views with genuine hospitality. Maraming salamat to the whole team for making this my best El Nido stay so far.. I would gladly return a hundred times over.

I was honestly a bit disappointed with this resort. When you see the word “resort” and pay resort prices, you expect a certain standard. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to that. The bed only had a thin sheet with no proper bedding, there was no water provided in the room, and parts of the property felt quite run down with visible rust. The bathroom, especially the shower area, could really use a deep clean. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. There were four different WiFi networks, but none of them worked properly and the connection was very slow. The staff did warn me about this in advance. That being said, the staff were absolutely amazing. Reception went above and beyond by helping with my large bags, doing my laundry, organizing tours and transport, and assisting with everything I needed. Truly a chef’s kiss to the team. They were the highlight of my stay. With some upgrades and better maintenance, this place could match the price they’re charging. Right now, it’s the staff that make the experience worthwhile.

Hotel is old. There's an atm at the foot so that's nice. It's situated oddly so you have to walk a bit to gain beach access. The rooms in El nido across the board cost way too much for what they're giving. The water in the showers smell awful. Usually your room won't get cleaned unless you ask. The breakfast was fair. Eggs were good but they ran out of everything so fast. They did try to replace things, they just took a while. The front desk was friendly but not a soul will help you with bags. The bed was comfy and there were no bugs so I guess a win is a win. These hotels are motel 6 standards or less for Hilton prices and that's the real shame.
