"非常滿意。前台的服務非常好。房間寬敞明亮，沒有異味。隔音效果非常棒。連枕頭的準備都很有細節，分厚薄兩種。我這種頸椎不好的就希望睡到薄枕頭。 酒店對面就是湖心公園。離聶耳音樂廣場非常近， 走路10來分鐘就到了，去九龍池公園也很方便，走15分鐘就可以坐公交車。打車也不遠。下次來玉溪這家肯定是首選。"

HHappiHallWe had a wonderful five-day stay at The Outside Hotel by Lake Fuxian. Our two hosts, were absolutely outstanding — friendly, generous, and full of local knowledge. We stayed in a lovely balcony room overlooking the lotus fields. The room was spotless, the setting was peaceful, and the hospitality genuinely exceptional. They also serve great coffee. For those who like the outdoors there is lovely walking all around. We've been travelling through China for two months now and this has been our favourite accommodation so far - and the breakfast noodles were the best! Highly recommended for a relaxing stay.

If the location was not so remote from practically everything (except the industrial environment around it), the overall impression would have been much more powerful. But the location makes sense if you want to stay anywhere between the larger urban area of Yuxi and its southern suburban zones, where you may experience the popular lifestyle and annual summer festivities (such as Torch Festival) of Yu people and other Chinese national minorities inhabiting this region.

I stayed at the Jia Yue Deluxe Suite and it's great. Two spacious rooms with all amenities.
The hotel service is excellent. The front desk personnel are very kind and helped me throughout my stay. They even helped me change my booking and get a refund from trip.com.
The hotel's specialty is that it offers both breakfast and lunch as part of your stay.
The restaurant's two female chefs are really charming and they prepare the most delicious food.
The only drawback of the hotel is the lack of a laundry room, but there are several laundry shops not far away.
In sum, I had a lovely stay. Hope to get back soon 🙏🏻

The area itself is quiet so if that’s what you seek, you will find it. For most of my time I walked the lake and stayed at the hotel.
The only thing to do, was to book a boat to the island in the middle of the lake or eat. I wish they would let people swim, but that’s not allowed at the moment.
The staff were helpful and polite and did everything they could to help.
The aesthetic of the rooms and the hotel are pleasing. Maybe add some different breakfast options, but other than that, it was very good, clean, and relaxing

A truly wonderful hotel, impeccably curated down to every detail, from the color palette to the lighting, everything feels thoughtfully designed. The manager was incredibly kind and welcoming from the start, offering us local teas and explaining their origins with genuine passion, which we really appreciated.
Breakfast is simple yet very good, with fresh, well-chosen products.
Highly recommended: elegant atmosphere, impeccable hospitality, and an attention to guests that truly makes a difference. We’ll gladly return!

We cannot say enough about this beautiful hotel, located in a picturesque village along the northeastern coast of Fuxian Lake. Positives: 1. the location is AMAZING. The village itself feels very Mediterranean and houses over 30 boutique-style hotels. 2. This specific hotel has the most beautiful Chinese garden. My husband and I spent ample time just sitting in the garden chatting and looking at the beautiful flowers. They also have a basket swing our kids played on. 3. The design of the hotel is beautiful…..thatched roofing and wooden doors on the outside, reeded ceilings with wooden beams on the inside…..it all looked so warm and lovely. 4. Our specific room was a 2-level lake view family suite that had a terrace outside the upper level bedroom (which was the “master”). The view from this upper bedroom was so gorgeous….prime view of the lake. 5. The bathroom in our suite was modern and seemed to have some kind of heating fan over the shower area which was an added bonus. 6. The breakfast was traditional Chinese style. By this time, we were at the end of our trip and were a bit tired of rice noodles for breakfast (we are used to western-style breakfasts), but as soon as we tasted this hotel’s rice noodles, it was easy to forget we were tired of them. They were delicious! The owner also served us steamed milk and some kind of sweet steamed bread. It was all very tasty!
Negatives: I truly do not have any. And I usually always have something I critique about hotels. But this place was truly a 5-star stay for us. It was gorgeous and the owner was so sweet.

Bus rides to famous scenic locations and Historic Old street of hotspot cafes, noodle shops are only 5-15 mins away. Hotel is managed by a young couple who are very hospitable and helpful, very welcoming of foreign travellers. Hotel room is comfortable with good mattress, clean and warm duvet for this 12c Yunnan weather, bath towel and shampoo, good wifi signal, hot water shower, water boiler for coffee. As Solo female backpacker who felt very safe in this hotel stay, I highly recommend this listing!

VVieraskäyttäjäWe booked online a ”standard single room”, for two people. We were in a hurry so we didn't look carefully all the info online, we only saw that the room was 15 m². When we arrived, we realized that 1/ the room is much smaller than that (there's basically only room for the double bed, nothing else) 2/ the toilets and bathroom are shared. We are a couple travelling on a budget, so we're totally okay with shared bathrooms, but this one was really small and also smelly, so we asked to change for a better room, with private bathroom. This new room was fine, but in the end, we paid a total of 68 yuan, for a much more basic room than other rooms we slept in for lower prices. Apart from that, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is great, directly next to a lot of shops and delicious street food.
