"My husband and I spent one night here as part of our honeymoon, and it was such a memorable and unique experience. We took the local bus up and only had to walk a few minutes before reaching the place. The hotel was beautiful, peaceful, clean, and quiet. We booked a private onsen and it was well worth every penny. We also added the dinner and breakfast package, and each of the meals were delicious. Such a special experience that I would highly recommend to anyone who has the opportunity. Also, make sure to try the local apples!"

"負評：正門有點難找，有一小段小斜路，雪地拖行李有點辛苦。整體提供基本設備，家庭房空間大，但數量少，請早訂房。設備比較對女士不友好，不似其他酒店，請多準備個人用品，風筒亦請到前台借，風筒的風咀破了就用瞬間接合劑修補，可知道高溫會釋放有害物質嗎？有放濕機放在公眾位置自取使用，但不是發黴就是漏水。溫泉很一般，大浴場洗澡位置去水有問題，差不多水浸到溫泉水，跟職員說了，他說不關他的事，就沒有找其他人跟進，最後告訴另一女職員，改天情況有改善。就是某些店員（不知是職員還是老闆）就是不helpful，我們需要跑到其他酒店請教交通難題。沒有雪卷優惠。晚餐絕對不推薦，我們寧願冒嚴寒走15分鐘到一之瀨區，那裡可以便宜幾倍，而質素好幾倍！整體就是不人性化！ 正評：大廳火爐位置很溫馨，可一邊烤綿花糖，取暖。有電梯方便到B/F，有changing room store room locker等等。有滑雪設備租務，雪具質素不錯。早餐不錯，餐廳的員工十分之好，有禮，不是餐廳的事也盡力幫忙。窗外雪境不錯。遇見前台其他員工也很幫忙，相信是個別人仕問題。斜對面就是來往長野巴士站，Chair Lift和售票處。但我們不會再住這間飯店，請店長/老闆反省一下！"

"I’ve really enjoyed spending the weekend at Anurag’s Tousen. The onsen was amazing (make sure you try them both), the staff were friendly and had great attitude and communication skills, and the breakfast had more and better vegetarian options than I’ve had at high-end hotels in Tokyo and Kyoto."

"Love this ryokan! The service was just amazing! We arrived the ryokan feeling cold and asked where we could get some heat pads and was told that since the ryokan provides free shuttle to train station, they could send us to convenient store. And before it, the staff came back with some mini heat pads for us to use for the meanwhile. There was also paid shuttle to snow monkey park (500 yen per pax one way) that you can arrange with them. We had a tatami room, it was spacious and the staff came to the room to do the check in and served tea and welcome snack to us. The ryokan guests are entitled to go to nine onsens around the area for free. The ryokan provides yukatas and all necessities for it. The meals were sumptuous and super yummy. Overall, a fantastic ryokan experience for us!"

"Wanted a traditional ryokan experience and this ryokan ticked all the boxes! Service was so personable, and the food was so so delicious. Rooms were of decent size as well. Can’t recommend this enough. FYI that there is a pickup service from Yudanaka station to the ryokan. They can send you to the monkey park / Yudanaka station in the morning. If you’re going to the snow monkey park, the ryokan can send your luggage to Yudanaka train station (free) so that you can pick it up when you’re heading from the snow monkey park back to Yudanaka."

"Se on lähellä Yudanakan asemaa. Jos menet noin 200 metrin päässä hotellista, Yudanakan puolella on bussiterminaali. Shiga Kogen -hiihtokeskus ja Snow Monkey ovat helposti saavutettavissa. Lähistöllä 100 metrin päässä on lähikauppa, mutta lähikauppoja ei ole montaa auki, joten ei ole paljon nähtävää. Hotellissa on kuitenkin runsaasti kuumia lähteitä ja pelihalli. Siellä on myös hierontakone, joten voit pitää hauskaa sisällä. Ruoka on buffettyyliä, mutta pidin niin paljon naudanlihanabesta illalliseksi. En voi unohtaa, että illalliseksi saa rajattomasti viiniä, olutta ja sakea!!👍 Suurin osa ihmisistä on perhettä, ystäviä ja työtovereita, joten iäkkäitä ihmisiä on paljon. "The location of the hotel is close to Yudanaka Station,only 4-minute walk.The twin room is spacious and comfortable,but the area near the window is slightly cold.The onsen is clean and spacious.View woman outdoor onsen ia great,can clearly see the mountains.The kaiseki dinner was very deicious.We are very impressed with Tsubakino Hotel."

"From the moment you enter Kokuya Ryokan, be prepared to leave the real world behind and fully immerse yourself in the experience. You swap your shoes for slippers at the door and don’t see them again until you leave. You will receive a warm welcome from polite and gentle-mannered staff, get taken up to your beautiful room, and once you’ve changed into your traditional yukata, it’s time to let the relaxation begin. The multi-course dinner will probably be one of the best meals you’ve had in your life, with many unusual textures and flavors to try. The futons are comfortable, and your room is kept toasty warm. There are even skincare products to keep you pampered and moisturized between soaks in the onsen. Honestly, you won’t even need to open your suitcase while you’re there. The staff will take you through all the logistics when you arrive, but there are some things that might be useful to know in advance. - The ryokan sends a shuttle to Yudanaka station at about 15:00 to collect new arrivals, so time your journey to take advantage of this benefit. - The ryokan also offers guests the opportunity to catch a shuttle to the Snow Monkey Park immediately after breakfast the next morning. - After you leave the ryokan, they will take your luggage down to the coffee shop opposite the station, so you don’t need to worry about those logistics. - Trains from Yudanaka back to Nagano leave at 12:30 and 15:30. - The ryokan itself has several private onsens that you can reserve for a 45-minute slot. Because the onsens are on the property, you can go in with your partner or travel companions regardless of gender. It’s a boutique hotel, so you don’t have to worry about not getting access to all the onsens you want. - The ryokan is on the main road of the Shibu Onsen town. The hotel will give you a key so you can wonder down the main road, visiting any of the public onsens you wish - however, with so many gorgeous and more private onsens in the hotel itself, you probably won’t have time or the desire for this. - Also, there is a coffee machine in the room! (I was worried about having to survive without coffee, and this turned out to be an unfounded concern). We had an incredible and totally indulgent time at Kokuya. Experiencing a traditional ryokan is a privilege that you should try at least once if you can. And adding the Snow Monkeys in give the trip a double purpose, making it that much more memorable. The only thing that would have made the trip better is if we had been allowed to linger longer over every course of our dinner."

"Our family made a special trip from Tokyo to Nagano, and besides exploring the surrounding attractions, watching the snow monkeys soaking in the hot springs of Nozawa, and visiting the Togakushi Shrine, the highlight of this trip was staying at Issa no Komichi Biyu no Yado. However, upon arriving in the snowy Yudanaka Shibu Onsen, we were immediately impressed by the warm and professional hospitality. "從長野市做長野電鐵1個多小時到湯田中站，出站下坡沿路往河邊走，幾分鐘就到，交通便利。酒店位於湯田中温泉鄉的中心位置，酒店規模不大，歷史悠久。13年對房間等設施進行了裝修，房間比較乾淨衞生。一樓有温泉大浴池，三樓還兩個有獨立的私湯，入住時在前台預約，免費使用半小時。早餐晚餐自助，菜品比較豐富，有長野牛肉火鍋，每人限三片，當地蔬菜蘑菇新鮮不限量。下午五點半前，一樓休息處提供關東煮小吃。酒店前有巴士站，可以去地獄谷野猿公園，看雪猴泡温泉，不過班次少，要提前查好時間。"
