Hotellit aamiaisella kohteessa Tianshui

The family didn't speak any English, but still managed to communicate with us and make sure we got everything I needed. They came to pick us up at the bus stop and drove us back there at our departure. They helped us get the tickets (we didn't have a Chinese phone number so we couldn't get them on WeChat). The food in their family restaurant was great and you can find some cheap dishes. They gave us free water bottles with every meal. They let us leave our luggage after our checkout. They looked like a very warm and happy family. The place was beautiful and very comfortable. Perfect to see the Maji mountain. Thank you for your hospitality.

The train station basement had no internet connection so I was not able to get DiDi.  Not only did I overpay even after negotiating, but the driver spent the beginning part of the trip texting and I had to swing my arm across him as we were about to rear end another car.  20 minutes later arrival at Maiji Shan park entrance. The friendly owner was already there and immediately helped me with my bags.  A few minute drive to the expansive farmhouse.  I asked for a bowl of noodles which was hot and delicious provided by a grandmother woman. Chinese farm Breakfast was plentiful.  I used the heat as the mountains got cold quickly when the sun dropped.  The immaculate room was large with two double beds, a tv and desk.  The bathroom had integrated toilet and shower so it is wet.  Plenty of hot water tho the turn on was a matter of button pressing.  I learned something new!  Toiletries and paper towels (another first) were provided.  The owner took me to Maiji Shan.  Sadly, it was closed; rain had made rocks fall making it dangerous to climb the stairs. Nevertheless, I took some photos.  I tried to walk back (beautiful fall day), but the owner met me along the wayThe owner and I communicated via WeChat translator.  DIdi was not available and as we started for the train station the bus came behind us.  So the owner put me on it and I wrote via the app.  The bus drives very slowly but I got to the station to run back and forth with my bags, then going to a different floor to get a paper ticket, then back to the waiting area, thru the gate, up the stairs, and finally to my sleeper car.  Outside of asking me for my passport and various tickets about 10 times no personnel was particularly helpful tho I was noisily wheezing.  As I was getting off, Another passenger grabbed my bags and ran down the stairs with them and then went back to the train.  Probably someone in the medical field!  Platform smoking and between cars smoking can affect some people.

Nice room with modern decor, great price. The location of the hotel is in the heart of Tianshui downtown, walking distance to many shops, restaurants and night markets. A nice 15 mins walk or $5RMB cab ride to 天水古城（Tianshui Ancient City) and Fuxi Temple. We were on the 12 floor where the laundry room and restaurant is, it was convenient for our stay. However, if I had the option, I would ask for 9-11th floor because the 13th floor is a restaurant. It can get noisy sometimes with chairs and table moving around. There were minor issues with water leaking from the shower door, but the staff addressed it immediately and was very friendly about it. Overall, I’d recommend the hotel.

一起的定了兩間房,到了之後比預期的好很多，民宿在景區裏面，提前給老闆打電話老闆會出來接我們，然後帶我們去民宿，第二天早上吃完早餐老闆會開車把我們送進景區遊玩,遊玩結束再把我們接回來！服務真的是到位啊！再説説房間，老闆説去年國慶過了之後裝修了一遍，廁所也能成乾濕分離了，説為了客人住的更舒心！所以也就比周遍民宿住宿條件好很多！而且在老闆跟前買票便宜哦！總之很推薦！有機會來還住這裏！

Perfect location right in the centre of the hustle and bustle of Tianshui. Within walking distance to the ancient city. Rooms are spacious for our family. Very clean and modern. Our rooms are serviced well every day. The only downside is the smell of cigarette smoke in one of our rooms. Also, cigarette smell emanates from the aircon, so we had the aircon off the whole time and opened the window instead. Love having the laundry room and library area which we made good use of. Thanks for the receptionist staff who helped us through booking a car despite the language barrier.

This new hotel was a wonderful place to stay. The new facilities were clean and tidy. The bedroom was temperature controlled, which was great in the cold winter. I especially liked the little table area to relax next to the bed. In the lobby, there were also free password locked luggage storage units that are convenient if you need somewhere to store your luggage for a few hours after check out. As well as that, I was surprised to find the washing machine and dryer in the lobby were also free for use. I communicated with staff in Chinese (I didn't even try to use English) and they were always happy to help. I think I would have, however, appreciated a little more information on check in as I only realized as I was leaving that I hadn't taken advantage of the free breakfast...and didn't know how to access it.

This is a REALLY nice hotel. Unfortunately, although it is practically right next to one of the city's two train stations, the location is far from ideal. Yes, there are many restaurants close by. But Tianshui is an oddly laid out city. Look on a map and you will see two distinct parts to the city. This hotel, along with the two train stations and the airport are in the eastern city. But all the most interesting city attractions are within the west part. And the two parts are very far from each other. Again, this is a nice, quiet, comfortable hotel. And I often try to stay at hotels near transportation centers such as train stations. The view from my room was fabulous- mountains and a train station. But for anyone visiting Tianshui, I'd suggest you look closely at a map and take a close look at the sites within the city you are likely to visit! (To add to within-town transportation challenges, not even a single time was I able to get a ride using the normally useful ”Didi” application. This meant that it was a constant ”old school” process of trying to flag down available taxis. Anyway, again I will emphasize, the hotel is great. It is the layout of the city itself that presents challenges that make this location difficult.

Check in/Checkout was very smooth. The hotel pictures of the room was the same. The bed was comfy and clean. They have a buffet/dinner thingy outside the hotel every evening. The hotel is next to a bridge. We walked on the bridge. It’s an especially nice walk in the evening. On the bridge you can get a head massage, buy little trinkets and mix with the locals. The location is ideal if you want to go to Maijishan. The reception lady was an all-star. She helped us book tickets for majishan on wechat. There is a food market nearby. The BBQ is worth the walk. we had a nice view of the river at night.

Read lots of reviews about this hotel before booking it for a night. I'll still give it a 5-star review because it is so convenient for independent travellers like us. The railway station as well as the local public buses station/stops are just a few minutes walk away from the hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious, the bathroom shower has strong flow of water. It's near to the famous Malatang eateries, too, just less than 5 minutes walk away. The rooms are not sound proof and we can hear the next door guests talking. Since it was already 12.30 midnight, we couldn't get to sleep due to the non-stop talking in the next room, we decided to seek help from the counter staff to give us a quiet room. She was so kind and moved us to another room on the same floor in the middle of the night. Kudos to this kind lady.

酒店裡天水站很近，走走幾分鐘，旁邊有蠻多吃的，但是環境比較一般！ 房間也算值得這個價位，還算挺乾淨的，不足的點一個是隔音太差，隔壁走廊一點點聲音都聽的很清楚，第二個熱水真的一點都不熱，洗澡開到最大也不熱，衹能硬着頭皮洗下去，吹風機還是壞的，也感謝晚上大叔來幫我換，早餐還算過得去，硬件條件有待提高！
