"As frequent leisure travellers from Australia, this was our second stay at this hotel during this trip, and we remain exceptionally pleased with our overall experience. Location & Transportation: The hotel's location is exceptionally convenient, offering easy access to a vast selection of excellent dining, from local noodle shops to hot pot and barbecue. A metro station providing affordable access to the city centre and beyond is conveniently located just 800 meters away (and is free for those over 65 regardless of nationality). For guests with mobility concerns, we highly recommend DiDi (online taxi service), which we found to be an equally affordable and highly convenient alternative for city travel. Staff Service: The hotel staff consistently demonstrated outstanding hospitality. The receptionists were exceptionally friendly and efficient, ensuring a seamless check-in and proactively providing airport transfer information before our arrival. This high level of service extended to the pleasant breakfast staff and the cleaning personnel, who offered warm and welcoming greetings each morning. Laundry & Amenities: The availability of complimentary and assisted laundry service was a major advantage. This amenity proved highly convenient and essential during our 16-day trip covering Fuzhou and the surrounding area of Pingtan. Room Quality & Layout: We were very satisfied with the room's upkeep. It was meticulously cleaned, and the bed sheets, towels, and linens (including pillows) were all immaculately maintained—a crucial factor in our selection criteria. Furthermore, the room's layout was highly practical and luggage-friendly, featuring a logical and efficient arrangement of amenities. In conclusion, we are highly satisfied with our selection and would unreservedly return to this hotel on any future visit to the city."

"We had stayed in Fuzhou Lakeside Hotel for 4 nights and then extended for another 2 nights. The Executive Floor rooms are spacious, well maintained and with good views. The many value added services that came with the Executive Room was a very pleasant surprise. These included daily access to the Exec Lounge for high tea and happy hour, one piece of free laundry per day, free mini bar drinks and daily fruit platter (both replenished daily). The service staff stationed on the Executive Floor is efficient, responsive and always ready to greet us with a cheerful smile. The hotel is just next to West Lake and cane be conveniently access via access gate to the broadwalk. Will highly recommend this hotel especially the Executive Rooms."

"It was very difficult to find as there was no English writing. Even a local stewardess who helped me had difficulties. The staff was at first unwelcoming and then insisted on a 5 star review. The pod is way too small and difficult to move around. I felt like being inside a dryer. I suggest to book a double pod, even for one person, but then, that is the same price as checking into a hotel. The USB port was broken, which I only found out in the morning, when my device was not charged. The hair driers did not work at all. It is still a good solution if you only have a few hours and need some sleep. The bed sheets felt very clean. The towel was too small and afte drying my hair was already soaked. "

"I had a very enjoyable stay at Metropolo Jinjiang Hotel (Fuzhou Three Lanes and Seven Alleys East Street). You can take DongJieKou Metro Exit B, after exit must turn left and walk less than 50 meter to the hotel lobby. The hotel is ideally located, just a short walk from the famous Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, making it extremely convenient for sightseeing, shopping, and experiencing local culture and food. The room was huge, clean, modern, and comfortable, with tasteful décor and good soundproofing. The bed was comfortable, and the room was well equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay. Housekeeping maintained the room very well throughout my stay. The hotel staff were professional, friendly, and attentive. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and staff were always willing to assist with directions or requests. There was a young female receptionist on duty when I checked in on 5 January 2026 around noon. I remember her name ending with “Na”, and I sincerely apologise that I am unable to recall her full name. I was extremely impressed by her professionalism, service attitude, and friendliness. I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt appreciation for her exceptional assistance. On the following morning, my electric shaver malfunctioned, and I had no idea where to purchase the same model and design. She kindly assisted me by placing an order through the ******* app, and the shaver was delivered to the hotel reception in less than an hour, resolving my problem very quickly. I was truly impressed by her initiative and the extra level of service she provided. Thank you very much for her kind help. The breakfast provided at 4th floor restaurent is also vaule for money. It provide combination of eastern and western food. The only suggestion I would like to share is that I sincerely hope the hotel management can consider replacing the carpet along the corridor leading to the rooms in the near future. The current light-coloured carpet shows dirt very easily and tends to look unsightly despite regular cleaning. Overall, the hotel offers excellent value for money with its strategic location, comfortable rooms, and reliable service. I would highly recommend Metropolo Jinjiang Hotel to anyone visiting Fuzhou and would gladly stay here again."

"The Vibe : from the second we arrived, we were blown away by the archutecture and interior design. Its visual masterpiece. The Services : a huge thank you to front desk; housekeeping and restaurant teams. They were so patient and helpful with my elderly parent and my toddler. Even with a language barrier, their kindness translated perfectly. The location : ideally suitated in thr old town. It made exploring so easy with a young child and seniors. Value : for the price range, the quality of service and the beauty of the property are unbeatable."
