Baarilliset hotellit kohteessa York

On the surface, this cozy place is probably a good bet for a stay in York. It's just enough outside of the city center to avoid all the tourists, but close enough to walk right in. The reservation process was great and the price is good. It's supposed to be a 4 star hotel and, in many senses, it lives up to that status. The staff is excellent. The food and coffee is very good and everyone is very attentive. The rooms are immaculate (heated bathroom floors are amazing!) and the amenities are great. That all said, there are some issues . Often the staff cleans the front area in the middle of the afternoon, which is a rather inconvenient time to clean as it is disruptive to the guests. Though the summer would be different, it was in the low 40's when we were there and heating in the lobby doesn't seem to be a priority for the hotel. We had to have someone set up a space heater for us in the tea room so we could stay warm, which was a bad look (tacky) for them. The biggest issue, however, we that they held a wedding event on the second say we were there. While it's completely understandable for hotels to host events, this particular location is ill suited to do so given the noise level of the event and the small quarters of the hotel. They had a live band, which sent the music to most of the rooms, making sleeping nearly impossible. Though they did move our room, we still heard the band, who played until almost midnight. Having a bunch of wedding guests being loud all lover the hotel also didn't help. The staff agreed with my assessment, which was to either not have events at all or, if they do, block out the rooms from being rented since it is impossible to merge the hotel with an event space. it's just too small. Ultimately, they need to make a decision about who they are as a brand, event space or 4 star hotel. I'd pitch they choose hotel because that is what it really is.

Incredible hotel with the friendliest staff! The room was immaculate with a very comfy bed, service from all staff was faultless, and location is just a short walk from the city centre. I would recommend this hotel to anybody staying in York, whether for business or pleasure!

The Galtres... A perfect place to stay in York. Location is great, central, surrounded by pubs, shops, bars, restaurant, a few steps from York Minster, couple of minutes walk to the Shambles, 13 minute walk from the train station. Our room was spotless, checking in was easy, arrived 3 hours early, but room was ready so accessed that straight away. Little bit quirky, I guess no two rooms the same, old fireplace, massive mirrors and a Wimbledon wicker basket at decor. Breakfast was amazing, gorgeous food, great selection and waiting staff always happy to help. Didn't eat there at other times, but the restaurant always looked busy inside and out. Two minor faults, could have squoze a small dressing table/desk into the room, and be prepared for a small amount of noise in the morning with delivery vehicles around, not a big problem though. I would definitely visit again, and recommend anyone visiting York to look at this place as somewhere really nice to stay.

由於酒店身處哥爾夫球場之中，四周環境十分清幽、寧靜、舒適，景色亦十分美。只是它距離市區較遙遠，距離約克舊城區，有接近30分鐘車程，若不是自駕遊，就不太適合選這裏作為住宿地點，但若有自駕車，這是非常不錯的選擇，因為泊車是免費的。 酒店之中有兩家餐廳食物不錯，但價格非常高，且份量不多，是典型的fine dining，若然大家不想花費太多在食方面，在進入酒店前，最好在城區先進餐。

Celebrated our 39th wedding anniversary at the Queen’s Hotel. Situated in a great place close to bars, restaurants and shops. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are very clean and they serve a good cold beer and wine at the bar!

We had a comfortable stay with a spacious room and great amenities. However, there was a party in the lobby during our stay that made the area quite crowded and noisy. Despite that, we still had a good experience overall and would recommend it for families.

Really comfortable Hotel…such a big room if compare to other hotel, with the big terrace that you can enjoy the view of the river. Also, it's not too far to walk from the train station as we didn't drive into York. It is within walking distance of York's main attractions such as the York Minister and The Shambles. The staff are nice and this is a good choice if you plan to visit York.

Safestay Yorkissa on erinomainen majoituspaikka, varsinkin jos saavut junalla. Se on muutaman minuutin kävelymatkan päässä asemalta ja myös erittäin lähellä kaikkia tärkeimpiä nähtävyyksiä. Yövyimme kellarikerroksen huoneessa, ja vaikka se ei ollut ylellinen, siinä oli kaikki tarvittava. Huone oli tilava ja siisti, ja sänky oli mukava. Huoneessa oli ilmankuivain, joten ei ollut homeista tai kosteaa hajua. Vaikka ulkona oli pakkasta, patteri piti huoneen riittävän lämpimänä. Kylpyhuone on kuitenkin melko pieni, eikä suihkusta tullessa ollut kylpymattoa. Suihkun vesi ei lämmennyt tarpeeksi – se pysyi haaleana. Aamiainen oli hintansa arvoinen, mutta se saattoi olla melko meluisa, kun ihmisiä oli suuria. Näin myös ihmisten ottavan kaikki hedelmät ja ylimääräiset jogurtit ja croissantit mukaansa. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja erittäin avuliasta. Kaiken kaikkiaan se oli loistava majoituspaikka, ja suosittelen sitä kaikille.

Hotel is situated right opposite Clifton tower and is conveniently located within. The city centre - walking distance to the Shambles and other attractions. The parking situation is problematic - although aware it is first come first served, there is nowhere available to park up and ask except the three spaces in front of the hotel and if taken, you end up circling the road for an absolutely age before a space becomes available. If no parking on site end up parking over the road on public car park which is inconvenient as keep having to work out when to renew. The cleanliness is a slight issue, we thought there was dust on surfaces but more likely to be cloth fibres from the cleaners but still don't expect shedding like this. Room was fine but did think bathroom was on the smaller side for a double deluxe room. Service in general was good - couldn't really fault.
