"The hotel has some cats around, some naturally comes in and out of the room, so it's better not having high expectations regarding cleanliness. The location is perfect: fantastic view, remote enough for not hearing the nightlife of the center but close enough to the main street. Just a short walk, only downside is that it's all stairs so ask the hotel staff to take your luggage up/down, they will help you."

"Booked this place because I saw the photos from other reviews. It overlooks the beautiful bridge, river and the main entrance of the village. We can see the daily welcome ceremony right from the room's balcony. Absolutely perfect location! It is right in front of the bus drop off station. Just need to carry the luggage up the steps to the hotel. We visited during off peak session, beginning of November. The hotel's coffee place and restaurant are not open. But it is within walking distance to other eateries."

"Had a great stay! Thank you for the thoughtful birthday decoration, it was a lovely touch. The owner is very friendly and we had many nice chats. The room has a clean Muji-style concept and even comes with a Marshall speaker. Beautiful view from the room, and the 5th floor observation deck is perfect for photos. Highly recommend!"

"Though it is in the centre of the town, foot path to hotel is narrow and uneven. room is clean and upgraded to facing the valley, which lighted at night. No food service in this establishment. To get here, from North entrance, take the bus to the end. then walk 400m along the river, wait at the ABC (agriculture Bank of China) for hotel staff to help you carry the bag. If you can not contact the hotel, proceed to next alley with few steps up, you see Fire Department and Firetruck, then turn left , there is a arch with Sign of Boyun hotel, turn right follow the sign up. not recommended for people with walking impairment /large suitcase/poor eye sight or rainy day. We had our suitcase deliver to north gate . 15rmb each."

"I'd like to share my impressions of my stay at this hotel. Firstly, the hotel is very new and designer inside. The view of the village is, I'd say, the best in the area. First things first: the hotel offers a butler service, and when you arrive at the attraction, a butler will meet you and take your luggage. You don't have to bother walking to the bus, which is quite a distance, and the entire scenic area is on a mountain, requiring constant climbing. The hotel is also located on a hillside, so getting to it requires a climb up narrow steps. The butler carried my luggage and accompanied me the entire time. The walk from the entrance to the hotel took about 25 minutes, including the bus and the walk. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was greeted at reception and offered afternoon tea; there were five drinks on the menu. I chose a milk oolong tea with milk, and they offered me fruit, nuts, and homemade cookies. It was delicious. I spent the entire time relaxing, drinking tea, and enjoying the village views. After I'd rested, I went to my room. I was given a room on the 4th floor with the lucky number 888. The room has absolutely everything: excellent Loccitan cosmetics, toiletries, robes, and slippers—everything is of very good quality. There's also a modern hairdryer and steam iron. There was a bath on the balcony, but I didn't use it because it was chilly. The room is really new; it has underfloor heating if you get cold, and also air conditioning. The bed linen, pillows, and blanket were wonderful. I didn't even notice how my night passed; I truly rested for the two nights I stayed at this hotel. The hotel staff explained how I could spend my time and took me to a restaurant where I could have a delicious meal. Then I went for a walk. I spent the entire evening strolling around the village and taking in the sights. That evening, when I returned, I was offered evening soup, which I really enjoyed; it was very unusual. Since I was a foreign tourist, the hotel staff communicated with me using a translator via WeChat, which was very convenient and prevented any misunderstandings. The next morning, I was offered breakfast, which was served on the first floor of the hotel. The dining room was also very beautiful and well-renovated. After breakfast, I went for a walk around the village to take beautiful photos. I had a wonderful time in the village, taking in the sights. I especially enjoyed the local people's show on New Year's Eve, as well as the singing of the women and men of the Miao people. The day before my departure, the hotel staff asked what time my return tickets to Guiyang would be and told me they would arrange for me to be transported to the entrance so I could call a taxi. I would give this hotel the highest rating, firstly because it's in a wonderful location on a mountain with a magnificent view, and literally a three-minute walk from the main observation deck. I would also give the highest rating to the hotel personnel, and especially to the butler his wechat name Velpro, they are all tried their best to help me and accompanied me on all my questions. I would also give the highest rating to the hotel owners, who care about the interior order, cleanliness, and the care of their guests. This level of hospitality is truly rare. If I return to this village, I will definitely stay at this hotel. I recommend it to everyone."

"This is a very nice, bright and modern guesthouse with good service and an incredible view. We parked up, took the bus to the ticket office and then another bus to the start of the village. At the bus stop we called the guesthouse and they sent someone to carry our luggage and show us the way. The guesthouse is up high on the hill and you must go up the steep and narrow alleyways to get to it. It is well worth it. The room was fantastic and had everything we needed, including a tea bag for the bathtub and a brilliant view. We skipped breakfast due to the amount of food on offer in the village below but the guesthouse offers rice noodles. Highly recommend if you are looking for a bright and modern stay in Xijiang."

"This hotel offers one of the most stunning views of the entire Miao Village — sunrise, sunset, and night views are all breathtaking. Truly magical. The hotel is located at Guan Jing Tai (Viewpoint Terrace). Be prepared for a bit of walking from the sightseeing bus station, or if you enter from Bridge No. 5, it will be an uphill climb. But the moment you reach the hotel, you’ll understand that the view is absolutely worth the effort. Room amenities are tip-top. Everything is well-maintained, clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. Service is exceptionally good. Special mention to 小云, who made our stay so warm and memorable. He welcomed us at the West Gate, helped carry heavy luggage up the hill, and the team even prepared a welcome drink, afternoon tea set, supper drink, breakfast, and a little farewell souvenir. We felt genuinely cared for throughout the stay. Some people say the Miao Village becomes boring after the day crowd leaves, but that’s only because they don’t stay overnight here. Staying at this hotel lets you experience the true beauty and tranquility of the village. Highly recommended — come for the view, stay for the experience"

"還沒有到苗寨老闆就聯繫了我們，給我們發了路線指引、買票的注意事項，進景區後讓我們乖乖等在六號風雨橋那裡，一小會就過來接我們了，兩個大行李箱全程都是老闆在幫我們提，特別感動，雖然有一段上坡的路，但是不算遠，3、5分鐘就到了，酒店是新酒店，配套設施特別完善，可以免費穿民族服飾，自己拍照打卡，房間很寬敞，配的有智能馬桶，床也很舒服，從民宿去博物館這些地標建築也蠻近的，很方便，整體來説非常滿意，無可挑剔。"
