Roomy hotel near the Belvedere in Vienna. Walkable to the city center for access to sights of the city. Close to a metro station to get to far flung destinations or to catch a train to all of Europe.

Positives:The location of the hotel is wonderful. You can walk to everywhere in city center. Also the train station where the train comes from airport is 3 minutes to walk. Negatives: The bed was a little old, right side was softer. Check in time should be 14.00. 16.00 is late for tired passengers. Overall 9:10

The accommodation was a masterpiece of comfort and sophisticated design, with plush bedding and cutting-edge amenities, creating an ambiance of tranquility and luxury. The meticulous cleanliness and upkeep of both the room and the communal areas spoke volumes about the hotel’s commitment to excellence. The gastronomic experience at Melia Vienna was a culinary delight, featuring a plethora of delectable dishes that embody the rich gastronomic heritage of Vienna while integrating flavors from around the world. The presentation was visually appealing, and the ambiance of the dining area was both elegant and relaxing, adding to the enjoyment of every meal. The state-of-the-art fitness center and tranquil spa facilities provided the perfect antidote to the hustle and bustle of the city, ensuring a balanced and rejuvenating stay. Austria Trend Hotel Schönbrunn Wien was absolutely gorgeous. The ambience was warm and inviting, and its location—right in front of Schönbrunn Palace—made it a wonderful choice for those visiting the palace. There were plenty of nearby shops and cafes, which added to the convenience. However, if you’re planning to do sightseeing in the main city, transportation is something to consider. You’d either need to take a taxi (about 15–20 minutes) or a tram (around 45 minutes). So, while this hotel is perfect for a Schönbrunn-focused stay, it might not be the most convenient base for exploring the entire city. The staff were friendly, but one issue stood out—housekeeping. On our morning of departure, cleaning staff knocked on our door around 10–11 AM, seemingly checking when we would be leaving. Since checkout was at 12 noon, it felt like they were unnecessarily rushing us, which was a bit frustrating. Another concern arose after checkout. We left our luggage near the baggage room at reception to explore more, and upon returning, the staff couldn’t locate our bags—even though we had the receipt given by the staff when we dropped them off. Instead, we were asked to search through the luggage ourselves in a room full of other guests’ belongings. This didn’t feel very secure, as it seemed possible for someone to mistakenly—or even intentionally—take another person’s bags. Better monitoring or improved staff training in this area would certainly enhance the experience. Despite these issues, the hotel was lovely, and the staff were welcoming overall. With a few improvements in housekeeping procedures and baggage storage security, this could be an even better place to stay.

Probably our favourite hotel ever, everything was perfect - room was spacious, modern and clean, staff were super friendly and the breakfast was fantastic too. The option to forego housekeeping in exchange for a drink at the bar is a great idea, especially if you’re only staying a few nights. Really couldn’t fault this hotel, highly recommend.

The hotel is in the perfect location for all the major sites. Everything is walkable. There are a vast selection of eateries close by to suit every pocket. The Plachutta’s  Neu Markt (next door) serves the best Wiener Schnitzel …especially  if you don’t want to walk far after a late arrival.  The hotel itself is very clean and functional. The Reception staff were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. Ask for a high floor to avoid any late night street noise. Note: the cathedral bells toll at 7am for early Mass but for us it added to our stay in the heart of this stunning city.

Hotel located close to Museum Quartiers and walking distance to Kartner and Graben shopping streets. Hotel and rooms are decorated in vibrant, fun and circus themed colors. Plenty of corners where you can take instagramable photos. Service is a bit impersonal but hotel staffs are helpful. There is a rooftop bar. Unfortunately whether was a bit too cold for us to enjoy our drinks outside. For those who like to cycle, they provide rental bicycles too. All in all, a great hotel to stay in Vienna.

I booked a triple room for 3 adults and first I was given a room with one bed only, so, was forced to to get back to the reception with all the things and then they gave me a room with 2 beds and a smaller folding bed. Please pay attention, that they call 15m room - ”triple”. Also, instead of proper door to the bath room, there was a sliding glass door with a hole instead of a handle which didn't provide any privacy. All the facilities were very low, like for small kids, shower cabin is extremely small, no toiletries. Poor pillows, bad matrasses. To switch AC on/off you have to call to the reception.

Отличное место, приятный отель рядом со старым городом. Также имеет круглосуточный бар что выручает когда все заведения в округе закрыты но нужно посидеть с друзьями. В номерах также есть колонки Marshal, можно слушать музыку, такого нигде не встречал.

It's OK place to stay a night or 2, would be good if I could apply for car parking at the time of booking because I didn't see the option. Bus and Tram stations are right there and Metro is 6-7min walk from the hotel. Room was clean and staff was really helpful. I can recommend.
