"The location was nice, it is nearby to the closest LRT station, you just have to walk for a little. If it is not such a hassle, choose this hostel.
When we first came in, the room smelled nice. Even though there is only one fan in the room, the room is still comfortable to stay in, it is not hot. Also, if you’ll be staying for a night this is the perfect place to stay in because they only provide beds for you to sleep in, but if you’d like to have more stuff that you can actually use while you’re at your stay, that has more amenities, this is not for you. Lastly, I actually commend the shared bathroom. It is clean and has a bidet and also a toiletry that you can use.
All in all, our stay is good. This is also our first time to check-in, so, not bad for the first time. Also, it is a budget-friendly place to stay in. Keep it up!"

"I never experienced a hotel like Tropicana Suite , their Reservations Manager Danah is very kind and treats customer's requests with serious care. I have some booking issue and contact them , their response was very quick and full of warm, human touch. They were also willing to match agent's price for us. I'm very appreciated their excellent service and will book again when I travel in Manila."

"Very nice staff and Accomodating. Very Accesible and close to eveything . It was relaxing and worry free no hassle at all.the pool was not that fab but it will do my kid still enjoyed it. They only served breakfast and I was advise that they dont Cater for Lunch or Dinner"

"Breakfast is very basic, and served from a menu.You have to pay for coffee like cappuccino, it's not included, unlike any other hotel, including those I've stayed at in Manila. If you are looking for a good breakfast, and served like a buffet, this is not the place for you.
Advantages of the hotel: proximity to nice cafes, free parking at the hotel, in terms of cost vs. benefit the hotel gets a high score. If they improved the breakfast it would get a 100% score."

We stayed at The Manila Hotel as a couple with one infant and had a very positive experience. The staff were extremely accommodating and attentive, the facilities felt grand and culturally rich rather than modern, and the location is central, great for nearby parks but challenging due to Manila traffic. The highlight was the breakfast, which was outstanding and easily the best complimentary hotel breakfast I’ve had.

I’ve been in this hotel 3 times in 2025 it always is good the staff are great & always really friendly it’s like a second home to me I’ve been using it for 4 years now when in Manila & breakfast and meals is always excellent

The hotel was a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. The room was clean and the bed was cozy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was conveniently located near the U.S. Embassy. My family had a pleasant experience and would happily stay here again and recommend it to others.

I will not stay in JMM again. The room interior is old, many paints are old and dirted. And many furnitures are scratched and not managed well. The microwave oven was malfunctioning. And there was a storm and some water dropped from the windows.
The worst thing was I lost the security card(for the main gate at the ground floor) and door lock key. They charged 2000p for those. 1000p for each. The funny thing is the security key costs 300p by the condo but they asked me to pay 1000p for it also. I protested the front and the answer was it is the hotel's policy and she discussed it with her manager also and she is just an employee.
I traveled so many hotels in the world. If I lost a key card, usually they just reissue it. Even if it is a budget hotel, 1000p for a key card is absurd.
The hotel room cost was 44 usd, but I had to pay about 35 usd for losing two keys.

If like bay view, need to stay at bay view earlier, now same residence block part of bay view,
Reclamation is under ongoing, then bay view may be narrow

Everything is excellent, the room or price is so affordable, the staffs are awesome, the rooms are nice for its price, the cleanliness and most especially the location is amazing. The hotel has its own laundry area with 200 pesos charge for 3kilos, you can cook in their kitchen, they have service water and hot water for 24 hours. You can check around the area for the cheaper foods as well as good. You can stay and eat at the roof deck, nice view and music. I extended my stay coz I truly love the ambiance and night life in the area.

なぜかワクチン接種証明を求められました。またクリーニング代を現地にて現金で支払いましたが、いつまで待ってもお釣りが届かず、オーナーの電話番号もわからなかったので一階のレセプションから電話をオーナー宛にかけてもらい、お釣りを受け取ることができました。英語ができない方にはおすすめしません。
ミネラルウォーターのボトルが2本あって助かりました。
