The best hotel of our trip!!! The staff are incredibly attentive and warm. Hot tub with a beautiful balcony in our room was a real treat. Breakfast was amazing, prosecco in the evening at rooftop bar with spectacular views. Very clean and comfortable stay. I could have stayed for a week! :) Only downside was having to pay €2 to store luggage before room was ready.

It was a nice stay. However for a 5-star hotel, there is no full body mirror, no bidet, table and chair as per description. Also, the description of room categories here in Trip. com are misleading so better to double check it first with them. For the toiletries, the hand soap, shampoo & conditioner, and shower gel are all same. I was under the impression that atleast there will be conditioner but all are same and my hair became very dry. The lotion, cotton buds were not replensihed for a 3-night stay. For the Tv, we struggled to operate and no English channel. I tried to call reception but no one’s answering. Breakfast is ok and the staffs serving breakfast were so nice and polite. Room was so clean. However as the room was in the ground floor, we always here the lift and when people are cleaning or doing things in the corridor.

What a fantastic boutique hotel annexed to the stunning Rosalli hotel. Staff were superb, the rooms exceptional and more importantly ”no black mould around the shower or sink”. Lovely large thick soft towels which does make a difference. The breakfast was brilliant and the coffee delicious. We are staying there again on a regular basis as it was that good.

Totally beyond my expectation!! From the smiley face welcoming us when we first walked in to the home made turndown macarons to the breakfast (the chef even peeled the tomato skin!); everything impressed me. We stayed two nights in the Casa and it is my first time staying in the Valetta. The hotel focuses on service details!! Superb location - 10 to 15 mins walk to the bus terminal/ upper and lower Barrakka garden/ the ferry pier with easy access to bars, restaurants, and shops. The building itself is historical and we love the design of the room. The big in-room safe provides extra secure. But what I love the most is the team. Everyone at the reception and during breakfast service has been super amazing. Special thanks to Peter who performed the room orientation upon check-in, Matthew who assisted me with luggage and escorted me to the uber pick up point upon departure, the pretty lady Sladjana with a big smile and endless jokes that made my day, and Renniel who helped fix the issue of the basin stopper. Highly recommend Casa Ellul to everyone. Dont miss the wonderful breakfast in the morning!

Petit hôtel très bien situé dans La Valette. Tout se visite à pieds. Rue calme. Chambre spacieuse, propre, café et thé. Petit déjeuner avec suffisamment de sucré et de salé. Salle du petit déjeuner en sous sol, pierres très sympa. Service attentif. Réception aimable. Pas défaut ou problème à signifier.

Overall I would recommend it, though there were elements of gasliging when someone entered my room and used some anti-asthmatic enhailer that bothered me a lot when I was back to my room. The hotel management accommodated my complain and changed the room.
