"I had a great stay at RIHGA Gran Kyoto Hotel. The location is extremely convenient — it’s just a short walk from Kyoto Station, which you can easily reach directly from Kansai International Airport via the Haruka Express. This made traveling with luggage very hassle-free. There are two convenience stores located near the hotel, which is perfect for quick snacks, drinks, or last-minute necessities. There’s also a shopping mall right next to the hotel, making it easy to shop, dine, or relax without having to travel far. For those driving, there are three parking lots nearby, which is very convenient and stress-free. Overall, the hotel offers excellent accessibility, great surrounding facilities, and a comfortable stay. Highly recommended!"

"Hotel was about 2 mins walk from the entrance of Nara park n the shopping district. Very good location. You could either walk 1.3km to the hotel from the JR station, or take a taxi which would cost around 1200yen. About 10 mins walk from the metro station. I stayed for 2 nights with breakfast and dinner inclusive. The Ryokan did take note n served us a different menu each day. There was also a small indoor n outdoor onsen in the Ryokan. The food was superb."

"Exceeded expections on all grounds! I am so happy with the hotel I wanted to spread the word. This hotel has great old world charm and more. I was a little worried about the condition of the hotel (more than 100 years old!) but everything was fine. I stayed at the Main Wing / basic room with park view. The bathroom was basic (business hotel like) but very clean, but the room / bedding and the view at our window was wonderful. Given the low price point, we were very happy with the room. Definitely recommend the Main Wing, and if you can, a room with higher price point. All staff, from shuttle bus / concierge / front desk / bar, are excellent. We really enjoyed the check in process - you can sit at the lounge admiring Einstein's piano while the front staff comes calling your name. Also try the tea lounge both during the day and night (turns to a bar). I would also like to extend special thanks to Korean speaking front manager Lee Su Jin who helped us in so many ways. She really made our stay comfortable. One thing to note about Nara city itself is that most venues close at 4pm and have unpredictable operating hours. You can't just walk around hoping to sit down at a cafe or restaurant. Highly recommend making reservations in advance of your trip and I'm sure Nara hotel concierge can help with this. I really enjoyed Nara Hotel and look really forward to returning."

"這是我們所有旅行訂過的酒店中最喜歡的一個之一。這家酒店我們一共訂了兩種房型，都很不錯。酒店的位置很好，周圍很安靜，窗外看出去就是賀茂川，風景很好。離出町柳站很近，離公交站也非常近，出行方便，不管行程往南還是往北走都很便捷。酒店的工作人員熱情有禮貌，雨天會在大堂備有毛巾，晴天備有風扇，供客人使用。酒店大堂還有很多旅行相關的書籍，可以免費借閲。書籍品質很不錯，我先生還饒有興趣地看了看。酒店的衞生打掃非常好，不比五星級酒店差。房間內提供的各種消耗用品品質也非常好，補給也非常充分及時。房間內所有飲料和小食都是免費的，這是入住時大堂經理告訴我們的。每天都會送上新鮮的茶點，我們後來才發現是從附近的和果子鋪買的，而且每天不重樣，有時候還會留下字條解釋這是什麼果子。入住第一天有收到經理手寫的歡迎卡，每天都有手寫的天氣報告等情況的紙條，非常貼心。所以我先生説這是一家寶藏酒店。強烈推薦給有需要的朋友。 ps 如果一定要找缺點，那就是我們房間的一個空調出風口在床的上方，稍微有點風會吹到其中一張床上。還有，窗簾本身遮光不錯，但窗簾頂端和底端有點漏光。"

"You can take a leisurely walk from Kyoto Station to the hotel or you can transfer to Kujo Station from Kyoto Station. When you exit from Exit 2, you will find the hotel right there. If you have luggage, Exit 4 has an elevator. The location is quite convenient as there is a 7-11 just a short walk away. Rooms may be small in size, but they offer hot spa. Considering these features, I highly recommend it."

"The free call service from the station is very convenient for travellers who come to stay but not driving. Both the breakfasts and dinners are excellent. The in-room onsen with jacuzzi and the beautiful landscape is spectacular. The public onsen is also clean and well maintained. The only flaw is tv in the room is rather old and would appreciate an upgrade.n"

"Ryokusuitei’s environment, service, and facilities were excellent. Our pre-stored luggage was promptly delivered to the room. The private bath room included breakfast, which was delicious with many options, plus a small stove to grill seafood yourself. While the private bath isn’t completely secluded—people in a building across, though quite far away, can see in—the stunning view of Lake Biwa more than makes up for it. The large public bath is open nearly 24 hours, featuring a relaxing lounge area afterward, free ice cream, and complimentary coffee in the lobby during the day. Upon check-in, we received shopping discount coupons that could be used to purchase small towels, scented balms, and storage bags."
