"Brand new hotel, easy to access to everywhere providing 24 hours tea and coffee in the hotel lobby. . Lots of small restaurants and cafe nearby. The most wonderful thing is the price, it is really good deal around JPY2000 per night. Everything is 5 stars from room size, cleanliness, staff’s customer service, quality and quietness except there is no chair inside the room. To me, I am not a person willing to sit on the bed especially when I returned from outside. There is foldable table rented to guests but no foldable chair. Should there has chair available sooner or later, please let me know as I will definitely return in my next Kyoto trip. Anyway, much appreciated to the reception staff who are very attentive with multi-languages."

"Stayed at the Mitsui Garden Hotel Kawaramachi Jokyoji from 20-24 Dec. This was my 2nd stay there in 2 consecutive months, despite there being hundreds of hotels in Kyoto.  Location:  the hotel is located in the city center with Nishiki Market and Teramachi indoor shopping street located very closeby. Kawaramachi is also a big commercial street lined with plethora of shops and malls.  Train stations within walking distance.  Hotel Facilities and Amenities:  this is a very beautiful hotel next to a temple (and small cemetery). The rooms are exemplary clean and quite spacious for Japan’s standard. Many facilities such as a public onsen, on-site restaurant, vending machine, ice machine, etc. No gym, which is not a big deal at all if you are in Kyoto for a short tourist visit.  You will be doing a lot of walking anyway if you choose to.   I only visited the on-site restaurant for dinner once. The food was okay, but nothing to write home about. Service staff was accommodating (I had to use a wheelchair at the time); however, service was lackluster otherwise.   Hotel staff service:  cannot praise the service by the hotel staff enough. This time around, I had injured my foot and couldn’t walk for 2 days. I was touched by the staff’s incredible kindness - they went out of their way to really help me out. Overall:  if you want city center location with easy access to modern shops and an array of restaurants within walking distance, big and super clean room, and great hospitality,  I’d highly recommend this hotel."

"The hotel is conveniently located next to Shijo Station on the Kyoto Karasuma Line, just a one minute walk away. There is a Lawson right beside the hotel, with chain restaurants across the street and several izakaya nearby. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options, including local Kyoto style dishes. Amenities are available in the lobby on the first floor for guests to pick up freely, with a good selection that easily meets travelers’ needs. Close to many popular attractions, making it a great accommodation choice for families traveling together."

"The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to access all the major attractions nearby. They provide different complimentary items and services at various times, which adds a nice touch to the stay. The staff were friendly and proactive, always ready to assist. One minor drawback is that there are only two washing machines available, so guests may need to wait during busy periods. On the positive side, the metro station is conveniently located right next to the hotel, making travel around the city very simple."

"We greatly enjoyed our stay at The OneFive - the room was very clean and spacious with relatively new facilities. The hotel was a short 5 min walk from Omiya Station and about 15-20 min walk from the main shopping streets at Kawaramachi / Teramachi. The staff at the check-in counter were also very friendly and helpful!"

"This was our favourite hotel in Japan. The location is very central to Kyoto, but did not feel too crowded and overwhelming. It was very easy to get around Kyoto from this hotel, with a lot of train stations close by. The room was clean and bigger than most hotels I’ve stayed in during my trip to Japan. The finishes of the room are just gorgeous. It really feels like luxury. The smart TVs were a nice touch too. The amenities of the spa were really good, and I loved the extra feeling of security knowing women receive a women only key card and men receive a separate one. Nice touch having washers, dryers and vending machines too. The staff are kind and polite and are more than happy to assist you. Although I did find the self check-in a bit confusing - some translations were a bit off. Regardless, I really recommend this hotel."

"Although we arrived late at the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the onset is open 24 hours, offering clear and warm hot baths. The relaxing atmosphere, with massage chairs to help ease the stress from a long flight, made us feel comforted. Its convenient location within walking distance is a great plus; I highly recommend it."
