"Good all round hotel, breakfast was good too with a range of foods - just enough for non-meat eaters too. First night room was extremely hot, no air conditioning allowed on . We were advised this was due to climate change related rules for the winter months. They turned our room heating off and provided a fan so the temperature was just about manageable. Tea/coffee provisions in the room which was handy for a late night cuppa . No complimentary water on arrival, common theme in Italy. Overall would recommend as this was a handy location to a number of tourist attractions. Fresh, clean and upto date rooms. Customer service fine. Downside -see mid pic. This is a wall fridge - enough space for a few water bottles side by side not anything else - Hotels water x4 plus I alcohol drink at cost .No room for anything else - Not ideal for summer stay. We had sweets/chocolate that were melting in November and only managed to squeeze a few in the fridge by taking out the hotel bottles."

"Nice hotel in a primarily residential neighborhood. The terrace has a nice view. The room was quiet and it is close to the train station but because of construction at the train station you have to take a long detour down a residential street to get to the property from the train station. This property is fairly close to the Vatican if that is important to you."

CCJulyaI didn’t expect to find something so gentle in the middle of Rome. Camplus Hotel Roma Centro felt less like a hotel and more like a quiet chapter that life offered me in between the noise of travel and the rhythm of work.
Every morning began with sunlight slipping through the curtains, the sound of the city slowly waking up, and the smell of espresso drifting from downstairs. There was something grounding about it, as if the city whispered, take your time, you are exactly where you need to be.
The people at the hotel felt like familiar souls. They greeted me with warmth, remembered the little things, and made sure I never felt like just another guest. That kind of kindness stays with you.

Olemme tunteneet sen vuosia ja olemme aina pitäneet sitä erittäin hyvänä Erittäin ystävällinen henkilökunta, erittäin mukavat huoneet, suuret sängyt erittäin mukavilla patjoilla, ravintolassa tarjoillaan hyvää ruokaa, siellä on myös baari, jossa on laaja valikoima salaatteja, pizzoja ja paljon muuta. Sitten ulkouima-allas on erittäin suuri, puhdas. Siellä on myös kuntosali. ”Midasiin” on aina mukava palata!

VVieraskäyttäjäService from staff was excellent. We were always glad our room was clean and had fresh towels daily. Breakfast choices were also awesome. Two things I’m not 100% glad with was the absence of AC in the room which was uncomfortable at night even with 2 windows open. We came first week of April and it was hot. Also the start of breakfast could be earlier like 6am as we had to leave the hotel for activities around 6am in some days of our stay. But overall I still would say this is a great hotel especially for the location.

VVieraskäyttäjäWe stayed here for four nights in June of 2025. The location of the hotel is generally good for getting to some of the more noteworthy site (Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc.). There's a metro station around 8 minutes walk away, which opens up most of the rest of the city pretty well. We walked from here to the Vatican, which took around 35 minutes, but would be less than half that by cab. The surrounding area is great for clothing shops, but the food we found nearby was mostly so-so, and frequently over-priced tourist fare, though I'm sure if you walk a little farther from the hotel you can find some good options.
The room itself was booked for a family of four, and was comfortable. The bathroom and shower had good water pressure, and the AC worked just fine. Some of the sheets were not quite clean, but we just didn't use the one we found slightly dirty. The beds were comfortable and a good size. The room and hotel have little to no facilities, so you're really just paying for room and the location. The exterior entrance is not well marked, and we actually walked past it on the street several times. If you're thinking of booking here, I'd recommend just looking for the GAP store which is directly across the street, much easier to find.
Our interactions with the hotel staff were limited. We received a number of automated messages, some of which were contradictory, or had out of date information. After booking and paying for the room (a non-refundable booking) we were told there was an extra ”city tax” not included which would need to be paid before checking in which amounted to around an extra $90 or so, and the offered price of an airport transfer service went up as soon as we requested it (from 85 euros to 95). The hotel arranged the transfer service for us, but the driver left the airport before we could get out of the passport control due to another booking. The driver service showed up at the hotel at the time the flight was supposed to arrive, even though the flight was late, and you'd expect them to know that going through passport control takes easily an hour, so this seems to be quite poor planning on behalf of either the hotel or the service. We ended up taking a taxi from the airport which was also slightly over half the price of the transfer service, so I'd recommend skipping their service, it seems like a rip-off. Taxis from the airport to the city center seem to be subsidized by the government, and were a fixed price of 55 euros (for a normal size car big enough for 4 people) at the time we visited. The train from the airport is also not a bad idea if you're comfortable using the metro, as the train station is just 3-4 metro stops from the nearest metro station to the hotel (Spagna).
Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but felt like we mostly paid for the location.

However, the thin walls were a major drawback, as every sound from neighbouring rooms was audible, causing frequent disturbances throughout the night. Additionally, on the last day, there was no cold water, making it impossible to shower. When we reported this to the receptionist, they unhelpfully suggested we should have complained the day before, despite the issue only arising that mornig — we cannot predict the future lol
Despite of this, I would probably stay again as it is good value for money.

MMaria MDWe stayed as a family in a premium bungalow, it is very clean and well equipped. Im honestly really impressed how clean it is. All the linen, towels, duvet are spotless. There is a dishwasher, but we didnt have a dishwasher cleaning tablets, so we couldn’t use it. There is a bbq, we didnt use it either.
The pools amenities are fantastic and really clean. There are a few eateries, a shop, a laundry. Our location was far from the pool and playgrounds, the closer units might be challenging to stay in with kids, there is a lot happening and it is loud late in the evening. Overall we really enjoyed it and kids loved it. We didnt need the shuttle bus, so cant comment on it.
The only thing is that after a checkout I entered a shop to buy something and kept my credit card in my pocket, when I wanted to pay at a cashier, my card disappeared. I searched the small shop in case it fell out but no success. So I guess you have to be careful.

Jjoeypris ganluI booked this hotel as it was within walking distance to a conference venue nearby. The hotel staff were very kind and I was able to check in early as my flight to Rome was early, this helped a lot as I was able to freshen up before visiting the sights . The nearest metro station is Eur Palasport which will take you to all the tourist sights . The reception staff was very kind to make me an espresso in the morning as the coffee machine was not working.
