The hotel was very good for the location. Very close to Bryce Canyon National Park visitors.
The hotel has a nice breakfast and great shop for souvenirs.
Easy to check in. I wish we could stay longer, but we are only there for a night.
But, will definitely recommend this hotel.
I got a $47 a night price so I can’t complain too much. The amenities for the kids is great-pool, hot tub, basket ball court, mini golf. The building shows its age but that doesn’t bother me staying at a place if it is clean. The bed was clean and comfortable enough. My main and only complaint was the towels. The entire point of white hotel towels is you can bleach them and people can see they are clean. The towels were so old they don’t bleach the dirt out anymore and they are still using them or their washing facilities don’t work. Why? This is an easy fix and they felt too gross to use for me. All 3 wash cloths were dingy looking and one had a clear lipstick mark on it that hadn’t washed out. Of the three towels I got only one looked clean enough to use. People can be ok with an aging building Red Lion if things are clean. This is an easy fix. I might stay here again at that deal, but it’s a definite maybe.
I’ve visited this place each year for the past 8 years. It’s a wonderful stay with beautiful views. It’s starting to show it’s years(hot tube doesn’t make bubbles, outdated rooms) the staff is always friendly the grounds always look good and you can’t beat the views. I’ll continue to stay here each and every time I visit.
I had a outstanding experience and was better then I expected. The beds are excellent and the rooms are very clean. The location on the strip makes it easy to travel around the restaurants.

Room is spacious and clean. Essential places like shopping mall, restaurant especially Korean foods and church etc are closed to this hotel.
I am very much satisfied except breakfast which is too high compared to simple buffet foods.

However, there are clear weaknesses in the commercial processing. I booked and paid for the room via your platform.
After completing the booking, I received an email asking me to check in online. As part of the check-in process, I provided my credit card details.
Immediately after the online check-in, my credit card was charged with an amount of approx. 180.00 €.
This procedure initially seemed unusual to me, as the room had already been paid for and the hotel already knew my card details.
After checking in at the hotel, a further booking of €162.27 was charged to my card.
I informed the hotel reception about this and they assured me that these two reserved amounts would be released after check-out.
The first reserved amount was released a few days after check-out, but the second was not.
On August 26, 2024, my card was debited with €80.93 and on the same day €80.43 was credited again.
The result is that my card is still charged today, eleven days after check out, with a reservation of approximately $180.00.
I am surprised about such a behavior and have asked the hotel to explain the reasons for the charges on my card.
I have already complained to Wyndham and asked the hotel to ensure that the amount -still reserved on my card- is now quickly released.
It’s a reasonable sized older room. Clean but need renovation. Breakfast comes with the room but is mediocre, serving from 6:30-9:30am. Location is good, next to shopping and restaurants. TV has no streaming apps. Coffee in the lobby is on offer all day. Free parking.

Upon check in the room was very spacious for a double queen bed room, and bathroom spacious as well. The amenities are lacking a bit, in the bathroom it was just minimal 1 makeup remover wipe and a shower cap and hand soap. It comes with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash but our conditioner was out and stayed empty for 2 days (as I thought the cleaners might notice and refill), until I requested front desk to refill it. In terms of cleanliness some of the towels had some minor stains and the bathroom had rust and brown stains in the bathtub so it didn’t feel super clean. The worst part was that when I entered the hotel the sheets were soooooo pilly and rough, they didn’t feel soft and welcoming as a hotel should have. Those sheets should’ve been thrown out years ago, I wouldn’t even keep sheets like that at my own house they were so worn down, bumpy, and uncomfortable, I asked front desk the next morning if I could please have them changed and got a very sassy and rude response that “usually requests like this should come in before 9AM and it’s not guaranteed that they can be changed” (I requested this around 10AM before the cleaners had even appeared on my floor). I found this response extremely off putting and inhospitable, since it’s not like I caused the sheets to be rough and uncomfortable and was simply making a request to make my stay better and more comfortable, and I also requested it very kindly and didn’t rush them to do anything- just by end of day or the next day so I wouldn’t have to sleep on rough uncomfortable sheets the entire 5 days I was there. They ended up changing them but I didn’t appreciate that kind of reply. 2 days after, the cleaners left their dirty rags, some random extra pillowcases on random surfaces by my personal items on the desk and night side table, It was very careless and unprofessional and who knows where the dirty rags have been, and where those random pillowcases came from if they were clean or not, next to my personal items. They also didn’t finish cleaning the bathroom and there were missing towels and didn’t finish taking the dirty towels out. Moving on, the location was okay but one of the farther hotels from the Zion National Park entrance in the town, I did like the pool and the restaurants nearby. Lastly, for the complimentary breakfast it was basic but good and I appreciated having that every morning before we left for our adventures.

JJon GreenerWe drove from Lake Tahoe to Salt Lake, so it was a long day… thankfully the front desk was very accommodating and said they’d hold our reservation until 4:00am, we arrived a little after 1:00am.
The room was adequate, although smelled a little odd (tha A/C?). The continental breakfast was good, but they ran out of waffle mix before my son & I could both get a full waffle. And we were going to hang out at the pool and hot tub until checkout but the pool was closed for cleaning or something… all-in-all a little disappointing, but hard to argue with the $109 pricetag for a family of 4…

VVieraskäyttäjäI was very impressed by the beautiful warm and inviting feeling as I entered your lobby. The lady at the check-in desk was very friendly and helpful, with her warm smile. Our room was sparkling clean and cozy. I especially liked the electric window shades. The beds were very comfortable. I liked the walk-in shower but think that the towels should have been hung closer to the shower rather than across the room, which was inconvenient. The breakfast was out of this world, the best I have seen in a long time, with its great variety of items on its menu to suit anyone's taste. The coffee was delicious, freshly ground. When we checked out, the lady enrolled me in the IHG program, and recommended a park nearby for us to visit, and we enjoyed spending the morning there. I was very pleased with my visit to this hotel, and we will definitely consider staying here again on a future visit to Salt Lake City. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Salt Lake City for its location, reasonable price, and superb customer service down to the smallest detail!
VVieraskäyttäjäDecent enough motel for a 1 night stay when passing through Cedar City…good location near the small downtown area as well as the highway. Exterior doors could lead to some outside noise from the adjacent parking lot. The room with the king bed was on the second floor, the bed was comfortable enough for the night as were the pillows. The upgraded “rain” shower was a joke, great in theory but the one in our room wasn’t functional..:upon turning it on water spewed all over the bathroom as there was obviously something wrong with the installation or setup…the bathroom was extremely large with an exterior sink area which was separate from the toilet and shower…the tv was good in quality but the channel selection was a big disappointment as they did not even have any of the ESPN channels available to view. We did not try the breakfast as we were in a hurry the morning after our stay. All in all not a bad stay for the night, it was quiet, especially for a Friday night, and the price, although still somewhat high for the town was affordable. RECOMMEND.
