Inase is a really amazing and beautiful place. If you're looking for peace after spending time in Kyoto or other big cities, it's the best place to get a rest. Staff is very polite and friendly, breakfast is delicious, and the garden inside is beautiful.
We had some troubles with the luggage, but they helped us to deal with it, so grateful for that.
This place is 10/10. Don't hesitate and just book it.
Great option for visiting the Shirahige Shrine. The host offered a ride in the early morning after knowing we were planning to go, which was extremely kind of him.
Room was very spacious and clean, with a nice view. Very close to the station and easy to find.
The only thing I would note is that there was only one bath. We arrived around 830pm and planned to take the bath shortly, but by the time we settled and got downstairs (around 9pm), someone else was using it so we couldn't get in until after 930. It was a shame that we couldn't enjoy the hot bath as much as we wanted as we tried to hurry out for the next group since they were waiting after us but I'm not sure if they were able to use it as the bath closes at 10pm.
Excellent location, right at the station. Check in 16h00. No wifi offered. Hotel access via public restaurant - feels weird to walk between diners to go out / return.
Lockers far too narrow even for airline carry-on. Bathroom is clean, shower has small dry area, and water pressure varies. Capsules are spacious with power socket, lights, shelf, etc.
The mattress is a few cm thick piece of soft foam and is so worn that it feels like a slab of concrete wrapped in a sheet. Very uncomfortable! And I am 77kg, not overweight. The pillow is a bag filled with what feels like gravel stones.
Breakfast comprises one hot / cold drink, a small pile of lettuce leaves with dressing, a thick slab of white bread that is scored about half way deep into a small chessboard and very lightly toasted, and a thimble-size serving of sweet fruit yoghurt.
They do offer to hold luggage until 16h00 after check-out, and collecting it is easy and fast.
Very good hotel. Love the room and the hot spring area.
Staff are very friendly.
Just a comment on the food arrangement: suggest the hotel to contact the guest prior to the check-in on the dinner or breakfast arrangement and offer the choices.
Biwako Ohashi Kome Plazan tienvarsiasema sijaitsee 3 minuutin ajomatkan päässä ja Ukimido 5 minuutin ajomatkan päässä majoituspaikasta. Tämä golfin pelaamiseen soveltuva hotelli sijaitsee 6,4 km:n päässä kohteesta Biwako-museo ja 7,8 km:n päässä kohteesta Ogoto Onsen.
Asiakkaat voivat nauttia majoituspaikassa monista mukavuuksista, kuten sähköauton latauspisteestä.
Kaikkien 4 huoneen varusteluun kuuluu mikroaaltouuni. Ilmainen langaton internetyhteys pitää sinut yhteydessä verkkoon. Huoneissa on oma kylpyhuone, ja sen varusteluun kuuluu erillinen kylpyamme ja suihku, hiustenkuivaaja ja kylpytakit.
The room itself has a bathroom sink which is pretty convenient. Not expecting much given the price but it did have everything u need for a basic sleep.
Surprisingly the public bath is just hot water not onsen.

VVieraskäyttäjäOk. First of all leave your expectations at home expecting hotel level service. Once you've done that if you want a cheap but clean place to stay this is it. This is a seinenkan - a facility for youth and youth-related organizations to conduct independent study and recreational activities, many of which have basic accommodation facilities but higher grade facilities than youth hostels. They are located all over Japan. I stayed in a tatami mat room on a floor with shared toilet facilities. The ground floor has a large communal bath - obviously separate for male and females. They have lights out at 11 p.m. and guests must return by the same time. There is a very modern cafe onsite serving cheap breakfasts (see photos) but the cafe closes by 6 p.m. There is a convenience store 10 minutes walk away so I suggest you buy snacks and beverages en route from JR Ishiyama station. For dinner, there is a family restaurant - good value and okay food - about 6 minutes walk away.
The seinenkan is located on a small island by a historic bridge. The views of the river inlet flowing into the main Lake Biwa is relaxing, lots of bird wildlife, and lots of rowers (the seinenkan is a water sports facility too). and the sunrise and sunset views are lovely.
The staff are very kind. It cost me ¥5,500 for one night and I will stay there again if I have the opportunity.

SSebastianCorreaWe had a wonderful stay at this place. The staff was amazing and the place was super clean. We were on a bikepacking trip and they even allowed us to bring our bikes into the room, which was very convenient. The Nepalese chef deserves special mention for preparing amazing food for us. Overall, it was a truly amazing experience and we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfortable and enjoyable accommodation.
VVieraskäyttäjäThe house is great, really well kept and in original japanese style.
It's very cold tough, it was snowing outside and the temperature inside wasn't higher than 5°. Heating is in the room, with a small gasoline heater, which was causing smell if used for long.

VVieraskäyttäjäLocation was great, next to the lake. Owners were nice.
Place was ok to stay considering the price.
The biggest issue is that wall are super thin and if you a light sleeper like me - you might have a problem :)
