The hotel staff is very courteous and the food at the hotel is delicious. It's located very close to Lord Pashupatinath temple, hardly 5 minutes walking distance. Very close to the airport as well.

I had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. I especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the attention to detail throughout the property. The location was also very convenient, close to shops and transportation. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free stay!

Lovely stay in Hotel Thrive. The hotel is located just off the main tourist hub in Thamel, it’s a very short walk and the hotel has security 24/7. The main courtyard is beautiful, a true tropical calm oasis away from the busy streets of Kathmandu. The rooms are spacious and modern with all the amenities you would need alongside daily housekeeping. The gym is compact but with good, well kept modern machinery and fantastic views across Kathmandu. The breakfast is delicious with ample choice to suit everyone. I would highly recommend this hotel and we would definitely stay again when we next visit Kathmandu.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel during my trip to Nepal. The quality exceeded my expectations in every way. The room was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean, providing a perfect retreat after long days of exploring. The location is absolutely fantastic – right in the city center, which made it incredibly convenient to walk around and shop for local goods in town. What I particularly loved was the proximity to several Chinese restaurants nearby, all offering delicious food at very reasonable prices. The staff truly made our experience special. They were friendly. They were kind enough to store our luggage while we went on our EBC trek.

Hotel dom Himalaya in center city of Kathmandu, big room and clean , quiet and breakfest every morning , the staff very helpful exactly the receptionist ARPANA always smiling and speaking good English. I recommend this hotel.

This is the second time I stayed at Ramada Encore in Thamel. I was not wrong to choose it again. Absolutely everything is good here ... the staff, the room,the breakfast (oh my, sooooo good), the location, the friendliness of every single employee, from the door in. A special recognition to Nikhil in the reception, whose service and support with a sincere smile is as comforting as the sunshine on an early autumn morning. And to the staff and therapists on the spa where I took a couple of massages that were superb. Kathmandu is a beautiful, yet hectic city. Thamel even more, so to have this oasis to come to after a long day wandering around or trekking is something to treasure. In my case, this is even more meaningful as I left all my stuff to go hiking on the Himalayas for several days, coming back to the hotel with the certainty that I was going to be happily and truly welcome. Again, I was not wrong. Thank you for making a difference and for understanding what the word service means. On this special day, I chose to check in at Shanker hotel. The warm service,delicious food and quality environment,everything is so good. The hotel prepares decorations and cake very thoughtfully, surprised us. Due to the late arrival time, the hotel also thoughtfully provided me with dinner order so that could enjoy it when we arrived. Finally the food upexpectedly delicious. I recommend you to choose Shanker hotel. Wherever it’s a vacation or celebration it is best choice.

Average Experience with Clean Room, Could Improve Guest Service I recently stayed at this hotel for a brief getaway, and my overall experience was average. The highlight of my stay was the cleanliness of the room. Upon entering, I was pleased to find a well-maintained and spotless environment, which contributed significantly to my comfort during the stay. Despite these shortcomings in guest service, the hotel's amenities and facilities were adequate for a comfortable stay. The room itself was spacious and well-equipped, providing a good night's rest.

After several trips to Nepal, I finally decided to treat myself with a stay at the famous Kathmandu Guest House. So glad I did. So much peace, grace, charm and beauty .. and of course, the history!
