Great experience here. They ensured check-in was smooth. The view of Mt Fuji is spectacular. Our room had the close-up view of Mt Fuji. Really great experience staying here. We cancelled our morning plans to stay in the hotel to enjoy it more before we check-out. Staffs are really friendly and can speak English. However, if you want to contact them before the stay, you'll have to call them, as they rarely respond to emails. They also provided with 2 free tickets of Fuji Q Highland theme park tickets. However, take note that in order to take rides in the park, you'll need to purchase a separate ticket for each ride. The ticket they've provided is only for entry into the park. Overall, a great stay and enjoyed the experience here.

Service staff were efficient, although queueing to trade your keys for your shoes slowed things down. (Understandable, because this is also a day-trip onsen, so the hotel needs to ensure all tabs are covered before letting guests go.) Facilities were old but well-maintained, although my room window couldn't be closed without force. Wide variety of baths to choose from, and convenient hours. Note that there is no shampoo, conditioner or body soap in guestrooms, as this is an onsen facility - all soaps and bath amenities are provided in the onsen area. Several onsite restaurants providing many food options, which made up for the lack of vegetarian-friendly options around the area.

The View of a Lifetime The highlight, of course, was the magnificent view of Mt. Fuji right from our room. We were incredibly lucky to have clear blue sky days during our visit, and seeing the mountain in such stunning clarity was a breath-taking experience we’ll never forget. Excellence in Every Detail The hotel itself is a masterclass in Japanese hospitality. Here’s what stood out to us: Impeccable Facilities: Everything is exceptionally well-maintained and clean. You can tell the staff is incredibly attentive to even the smallest details. The Room: Our space was quiet, cozy, and comfortable—a perfect sanctuary to relax in after a day of exploring. The Onsen: The hot springs were fantastic! It was the ultimate way to unwind and soak in the peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast: We looked forward to the mornings thanks to the wide variety of choices. Everything was fresh and delicious. Staying here made our trip truly special. We left feeling refreshed and so happy with our choice. Highly recommended!

We came for the playground and closeness to the fruit farms. They playground was terrific, or at least thats what can be interpreted when you need toddlers to do something - anything is agreeable before ‘playground’. Finishing food, brushing teeth are suddenly all ok. The style of the hotel is polished, there’s lounge with premium room bookings, three elevators with space to push in a trolley and 2 strollers(rare in Japan), matches 4.5 star international expectations. We didnt use the hotspring as we came with an infant and toddler. The breakfast was a very nice spread of one section japanese one section western, and a one hour window!

Stay here for a night in a room with futon beds. Location is about 5-10min with car from the train station. The hotel has a shuttle pick up services which run regularly and can be arranged with phone call. Excellent services and the staffs were really helpful. The onsite amenities were great. These include multiple vending machines, laundry (coin), gift store, restaurants, meeting rooms, message chair , kids toys, lounge and observatory deck to view mt Fuji. The hotel had plenty of spaces for work and relax. The room is decent in size and very clean. The breakfast and dinner have a variety of choices and tasted good. This is one of the very few hotels that my parent would also feel comfortable and like. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will book in again if I cone back to mt Fuji.

We booked this stay for the in-house public hot bath and the lakeside advantage. Check-in was smooth and fast with the staff providing a lot of information, events happening nearby and the different attractions. They spoke good English and was very helpful and informative. The room was disappointing though. It was old, no functional furnitures. The seat covers were very old and with stains. Tv was too small for the size of the room. No convenient outlet near, we used a outlet that was meant for a lamp. Bedding was comfortable though. It is based on traditional house style. The bath was wonderful, not crowded at all. Dont think its worth the price with its current fixtures and furnishing. Unless it was the room that faces the lake but for that they will charge extra.

Kaikki maisemista, henkilökunnasta ja ruoasta oli uskomatonta! Henkilökunta sai meidät tuntemaan olonsa tervetulleiksi niin pitkän matkan jälkeen, kun olimme kirjoittaneet nimiä sisäänkäynnille, huoneeseen ja jopa pöytään. Jokainen ruokalaji valmistettiin niin huolellisesti ja oli herkullista. Matkan arvoinen! Niin kaunis näköala ja perinteinen huone, kylvyt olivat myös mukava herkku pitkän päivän päätteeksi :))

A classic old-school modern hotel with ryokan-type service. The room is huge and has excellent views of the river. On a good day, it should be possible to see Mount Fuji as well. There is also big onsen area with an outdoor bath area. Dinner is served on the ground floor restaurant and it was a delicious multicourse meal which includes really good wagyu steak with wasabi shoyuzuke. Dessert also includes the region's famed grapes. Breakfast was served buffet style with selection of Japanese and western items. I drove to the hotel with a rental car. It is not too far from a station on a local line but I recommend driving around to explore instead. The patrons to the hotel also seemed more local.

I booked a room facing Kawaguchi Lake. It was amazing. Traditional Japanese breakfast is surprising. Big shower room has perfect Mt Fuji view. Free parking. Staff is with good English and very polite and helpful.
