Stayed at Pan Pacific Suzhou and had a really pleasant experience overall. The room was very spacious and comfortable, which made the stay extra relaxing. One of the highlights was the perks that come with being an in-house guest—there are quite a number of privileges that make the stay feel more worthwhile and enjoyable. The hotel itself has a beautiful, serene atmosphere, perfect for a quiet getaway while still being in the city. If there’s one downside, it would be the location in terms of convenience to public transport. Although it’s mentioned to be near train stations, the walk to the nearest ones is actually a bit further than expected, especially if you’re carrying luggage or travelling in the heat. Also, for older guests, it may be a good idea to request a room closer to the main lobby, as the property is quite large and distances within the hotel can be a bit of a walk. Overall, still a lovely stay and would recommend for those who value space, comfort, and a more tranquil environment.

The hotel was very neat and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was good, except that welcome music would play every time you enter the room. The breakfast was alright, it was just enough to fill you up until lunch with a decent selection. There's a convenience store with 3 minutes of the hotel. One issue is the proximity to a restaurant and the occasional drunk person to be close to, or inside the hotel.

Voit viettää koko päivän lasten kanssa hotellissa. Ympäröivät ravintolat ovat myös erittäin käteviä, ja Xiangyuan Tea House on myös herkullinen. Kaiken kaikkiaan loistava vastine rahalle.

We were pleasantly surprised by a complimentary room upgrade. The check-in and check-out procedures were smooth with many staff attending to your every needs. They were all very helpful and professional. The hotel is a bit dated but otherwise well maintained. We were thoroughly satisfied with our stay. Location-wise, the hotel is connected to Xinjiekou station and near to many tourist attractions. Breakfast buffet spread was sumptuous with both Chinese and Western varieties with egg station, noodle station and a variety of beverages. Although a large hotel, breakfast never felt crowded and most mornings I was able to enjoy long and slow breakfast. Highly recommended. 

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It is located right in the city center, making it very convenient to get around. There is a shopping mall directly connected to the hotel, so finding food and dining options was very easy. The hotel is very family-friendly. We stayed on the top floor, and the view was absolutely amazing — we could see both the sea and the mountains. Our child loved it so much. However, for guests who are afraid of heights like my husband, this might not be the best choice, as it is probably the tallest building in the city. Although the hotel looks like it has been open for many years from the outside, the interior still feels modern, clean, and well maintained. The rooms are comfortable, and the facilities are very convenient. Breakfast offered a good variety of international options. Overall, we had a great experience and were very impressed with our stay.

Well appointed, clean and large rooms. Helpful and friendly staff. Located near the centre of Hai'an. Nearby Restaurant street, shopping mall and several bars.

We had a very pleasant stay, and the location truly couldn’t be better. Everything was perfect. The room was cozy, with a very comfortable bed and excellent shower facilities, fully meeting the high standards expected from an IHG hotel. The terrace offers a stunning panoramic view overlooking the entire city and the subway station is just a few steps away, making transportation extremely convenient. Yesterday was my 22nd birthday, and my boyfriend made it unforgettable by booking a room at the Shangri-La to celebrate. He even sent a special request to the hotel asking if they could help make me feel extra welcome. On the morning of my birthday, he received a call from the Director of Guest Relations, Angel, who told him they had prepared a gift and asked for my name to personalize the card. The service was incredible from start to finish. We had originally booked a king room, but they kindly upgraded us to a beautiful lake-view room overlooking the Qinhuai River. When we arrived, I was greeted with a lovely cake, a heartfelt card, and a thoughtful gift. I felt truly welcomed and cherished. The attentive service began right at the entrance, where Cynthia Zheng from the valet team welcomed us with warmth and energy. His lively and kind presence set the tone for our entire stay. And when we departed, he was just as helpful and spirited as a wonderful person who added to the experience. Overall, my birthday felt absolutely magical, thanks to the outstanding Guest Relations team at Shangri-La. Thank you for helping create such a special memory.

Very happy with the hotel. I had a double room, more like a suite. All very clean and perfect. The staff was very helpful, courteous and pleasant. The breakfast room is out of this world.

I Stayed at Grand Metro Park Hotel for 8 nights. The location was good, near the museum and other historical sites and not far from the metro. The room was spacious and clean, each days the room service cleaned the room and bring 2 small bottles of water. i didn't tried the amenity of the hotel like the gym,the swimming pool or the restaurants inside the hotel. In general the hotel was good but the signs of aging are visible, it needs some refreshing works. Every staff I ran into was very friendly and helpful. Down the street there was plenty of small vendors selling food and sweets, so if you're looking for a quick snack and willing to try the local street food it's good. As for the breakfast, there's plenty of choices (the majority is Chinese cuisine) as the same time i do understand as 90% of the clients are chinese, but some western options will be nice too.
