Love the design of this 112 year old hotel. We were charmed by the facade and interior of the 112 year old building. The Hankou Riqing International Firm Building was built in 1913 in the Renaissance Style with a distinguishing Byzantine styled tower at one corner as its outstanding feature. It is 36 metres in height and has 4 floors. It was originally used as a office building for the Riqin shipping company. This historic building was renovated during the construction of the Jianghan Road Commercial Pedestrianisation Scheme in 2000. A big thanks to the lady at the reception called Shylie who went out of her way to assist us to book the Apollo Go Self Driving Taxi. We had to goto Hanyang District to catch the taxi and we couldn't book the taxi ourselves as we don't have Wechatpay so Shylie offered to help us. Love everything about the hotel. Location is great as it is next to the Jianghan Shopping Street

We stayed at East Lake Hotel, Tingtao 2#, for three nights in August 2025, it was great, highly recommend ! East Lake Hotel is known for its beautiful scenery, just as expected, the view was absolutely stunning, but what was better than the view was the best customer service. They assigned a staff member, Ms. Yu, to help us. Ms. Yu gave us her WeChat contact information so we can reach out easily. Ms. Yu was professional and courteous, she went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect, any concern / issue we had, she handled it quickly, including helping out with the laundry! We stayed at other Five Star hotels in Wuhan, Beijing, and Shanghai, but no other hotel provided this level of service. The front desk was also very helpful. Last but not the least, their breakfast buffet was the best among the 6 hotels we stayed for this trip. My favorite was the porridge made of sweet rice wine and sweet rice dumplings. 我们在2025年8月入住了听涛2#东湖酒店三晚，很棒，强烈推荐！东湖饭店以风景秀丽著称，一如所料，景色绝对惊艳，但比景色更好的是最好的客户服务。他们指派了一名工作人员俞女士来帮助我们。俞女士给了我们她的微信联系方式，以便我们轻松联系。 俞女士很专业，很有礼貌，她竭尽全力确保我们的住宿完美，我们遇到的任何疑虑/问题，她都很快处理了，包括帮忙洗衣服！ 我们住过武汉、北京、上海的其他五星级酒店，但没有其他酒店提供这种水平的服务。前台也非常乐于助人。最后但并非最不重要的一点是，他们的自助早餐是我们这次旅行入住的 6 家酒店中最好的。我最喜欢的是甜米酒熬制的粥.

Very nice hotel with a good distance from attractions, convenient for both cabbing & public transport (800m walk from the nearest subway). Staff was helpful with assisting with parcel collection, delivery collection, & one of them even went above & beyond to give us recommendations for what to do with out empty schedule, providing water & masks unprompted due to a rise in mild flu infections on the news. We booked a loft room & it was very worth the price for the amount of space we got, highly recommend this hotel if you're a traveller, international or domestic.

The hotel room was very cozy and the service was excellent.Patrick took me to the airport. As my leg was froctured, he pushed the wheelchair all the way to the security. check and made a smooth handover with the ariline staff. I'm very groteful for his considerote service 호텔 객실은 정말 아늑했고, 서비스도 매우 훌륭했어요. 특히 Patrick 직원분이 공항까지 동행해주셨는데, 제가 다리를 다친 상태라 휠체어를 타고 있었거든요. 보안 검색대까지 직접 휠체어를 밀어주시고 항공사 직원에게도 매끄럽게 인계해주셨어요. 세심하게 배려해주신 서비스에 정말 감사드립니다.

Perfect location right on Lihuangpi Road that is the center of where the European style heritage buildings are, adjunct to very local residential communities so you get a close up experience of history and current daily life of the city. The room is clean with good and spacious layout. Bedding materials are quite comfortable. I have had a very good sleep. Also a lot of eateries and coffee shops around.

Very old hotel. Everything looks very worn, mould observable everywhere in the room. Cracked tiles and wallpaper that is coming off. What was worse is the service - I asked for advice how to book tickets to Hubei Provincial Museum as I’m a foreigner and had issues with my WeChat account. The concierge checked and told me there is nothing he can do about it. What amazed me is that as he was talking to me, he wasn’t even looking at me at all. In another incident, I informed hotel the day before that I need to check out at 630 am to catch an early train. Concierge assured me that a packed breakfast will be ready for me for pick up when I check out. However, when I checked out on the actual day, breakfast is not ready and I had to wait for 10 min for it to be done. I had imagined that Hilton would try to mitigate the older facilities (which I understand that you can’t do much about) with more customer centric service (which makes customer feel more welcomed. Unfortunately I was wrong. Overall a very disappointing stay.

46層，的確可以夜觀武漢夜景。樓下就有“美宜佳”超市，買點早飯還是很方便的。整幢樓分為低層樓區和高層樓區，電梯也是分開的。而辦理入住在低層區12樓。“管家”很負責，會加微信。一般都會及時回覆，解決能解決的問題。我們住的是一套，兩個房間，雖然衹有一個衞生間，但客廳的廚房有一個水龍頭🚰，衞生間的也是乾濕分離的。 周邊地鐵很方便，離武漢武昌萬象城也還算近。來武漢的兩個晚餐都是在這裏解決的。 總體感覺都還挺好。

Lovely hotel — very clean with outstanding service and friendly staff. Just a heads-up for soft sleeper guests: the sound insulation is quite limited, so light sleepers may want to bring earplugs.

An absolutely amazing hotel. I think it’s the best one we’ve ever stayed at. Everything is clean, incredibly beautiful, and cozy. The reception staff are friendly, and the breakfasts are delicious. This place has everything you need for a great trip. My husband and I don’t speak Chinese, and the staff helped us with everything — ordering room service, showing us the way to the laundry, and they even upgraded our room for free and gave us a drink and fruit platter voucher for our anniversary. It was such a sweet gesture, and we were genuinely impressed and happy with our stay. 🫠🥰
