Very clean hotel and nice staff. The room was rather small (but good enough for two people)
We stayed for four days in total, the nights were very quiet except for one night where we heard bar music playing from several blocks away. The hotel is close to the HMart.
The lack of a kettle (in the common area or in the room) is not a deal breaker as you can use the microwave (in the common area). I wished the combination safe was larger, as neither my laptop nor tablet could fit, so we travelled with our devices which made walking very tiring.
The bathrooms are nice, well-lit and spacious.

Besides needing staff to cover busy times such as check in and out, the accomodations are excellent. Clean marble bathrooms with white towels. Beds white as snow and comfortable. First time seen house staff friendly and responsive to your needs. Downers Grove hotel have elevators to third floor. Breakfast was standard for first and menu posted for each morning and the eating area was clean and kept maintained by kitchen staff as people dined left tables..Noise free rooms. Individual temperature rooms controls. Wide hallways and have communication friendly rooms whatever these are. Again, communication to the front desk from room was cumbersome as long rings to answer from phones I'm rooms by front desk staff lady. Can perhaps use a two person a peak times or as a balance during the day for better response.

Bon séjour. Les matelas étaient un peu datés et présentaient des irrégularités. Avions demandé une chambre près de l’ascenseur, ce dont il a été tenu compte. Malheureusement celui-ci était hors service.

這個酒店規模很大，每間房都是套間，父母帶子女入住很好！有冰箱、咖啡機、微波爐和洗菜盆。有健身房.游泳室。大前台大廳寬敞。沙發座椅很多，有一個巨大的室內中亭，有綠色植物，樹下有凳子，令人舒服愉快！而且價格適中，很樟的酒店！

Towels not provided as per paid occupants. Need to request. Unable to do the make up for ladies as the Sensor entrance light is too dim.

VVieraskäyttäjäUpon check in, I was assigned a room & given keys. We opened the door only to find someone else was already occupying the room. Imagine the fear of the person in that room as we had keys that opened their room door. We had to bring all of our luggage back down to the front desk to get a new room assigned. I booked a king room but was given a room with double beds. When I contacted the front desk, the lady at the front desk was unprofessional and made no effort to address the issue. She told me the hotel is sold out of king rooms and for me to contact Trip.com because Trip.com is the one who booked a double room. The representative from Trip.com was very professional and apologetic and made attempts to rectify the situation. However the hotel did not answer the calls from Trip.com. The room we were assigned was ok. But the ac/heater unit in the room was full of dust. The pillow cases appeared clean but smelled as if it had not been changed between guests. I’ve stayed at numerous Hilton properties and am usually quite pleased. But we were quite disappointed with this Doubletree property.

DDimel HarderLocation is good with a beautiful view. Just a heads up bring your own slipper and dental kit and drinking water because they don’t have complimentary of such. Overall we had a great sleep and we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is ideally located—right in the heart of the Magnificent Mile, so it’s within walking distance of world-class shopping, dining, and iconic Chicago landmarks like the John Hancock Center and Navy Pier.
Room Quality:
The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with modern amenities. I stayed in a city-view room, and the view of the Chicago skyline was absolutely breathtaking, especially at night when the city lights illuminated the skyline. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing a great night's rest, and the bathroom was sleek and contemporary with high-end toiletries.
Location:
This hotel is perfect for anyone wanting to experience the best of Chicago. Not only are you close to Michigan Avenue's shopping and dining, but you're also a short walk from cultural attractions like the Art Institute and Millennium Park. Abit far from the subway/metro lines but taking the bus was convenient as well.

VVieraskäyttäjäGreat location great view loved the breakfast the down falls that my jetty tub didn't work were supposed to send someone the next day never showed to fix and the bed was comfortable but whatever you have the bed on is a bad idea cause it makes so much noise just when you sit on the bed and need more grip on the porch and in by the pool I fell as it was wet outside on the porch and my son and including other children I had seen fallen by the pool area which kids are gonna get hurt I never recipient the extra stuff I requested when booking my room and false advertisement because the pics did not match up correctly when they showed me for when I booked my room the bedroom was different and was supposed to have couch in room and wasn't and my fireplace didn't work in my room so overall I would stay again if emenities got fixed I was partially satisfied with my stay...

Service from staff were friendly, felt welcomed.
Property rooms are dated, old carpet, stains on walls and dirt on bathroom floor.
Bed and pillows were comfortable.
For the price I paid, I find it was a reasonable option for an overnight stay at Chicago.
