Perfect location, the people were super helpful and kind! Lovely breakfast , beds are comfy too.

The staff allowed us to check in early after a long overnight train.  Thank you. The hotel is comfortable and perfectly located.  We could walk to the Potala and Jokhang Temple. Dozens of restaurants and cafes were also within walking distance. There was oxygen in the rooms and breakfast staff were very welcoming.  Would stay there again.

The hotel staff is very courteous and the food at the hotel is delicious. It's located very close to Lord Pashupatinath temple, hardly 5 minutes walking distance. Very close to the airport as well.

Nice Old Hotel, Great Staff with few needs to improve. Swimming pool is totally disappointment. Better to shut down, than keep running and not swimmable, waist of energy. The water is dirty, no star at all. The lobby, the room and Ghurka bar are still great. 2 power shutdowns in 1 day, I believe they are struggling with power shortages due to dark lounges. Breakfast was so so, coffee or tea should be not a challenge to serve first, sometimes took half of meal before they come. Many Tables are not stable and aligned, egg can easily roll over to other side. Atleast 3 tables on my experience. Room is comfortable, nice bed and always fresh linen. Only noisy from AC , maintenance team came twice on my room to fix, though transfer was offered on my last 2 days. Managers should not standing in buffet line, either they should help the line staffs or directing the team, talking business in public is not of our guests concern. Front desk Trainee, has good presence, I thought first he is manager. A lot can be improved and polished, the hotel has a great potential, nice design, great facilities and great staffs. I wish that management should look all themselves and review those small details.

This is the second time I stayed at Ramada Encore in Thamel. I was not wrong to choose it again. Absolutely everything is good here ... the staff, the room,the breakfast (oh my, sooooo good), the location, the friendliness of every single employee, from the door in. A special recognition to Nikhil in the reception, whose service and support with a sincere smile is as comforting as the sunshine on an early autumn morning. And to the staff and therapists on the spa where I took a couple of massages that were superb. Kathmandu is a beautiful, yet hectic city. Thamel even more, so to have this oasis to come to after a long day wandering around or trekking is something to treasure. In my case, this is even more meaningful as I left all my stuff to go hiking on the Himalayas for several days, coming back to the hotel with the certainty that I was going to be happily and truly welcome. Again, I was not wrong. Thank you for making a difference and for understanding what the word service means. I will certainly choose you again and again every time I come back to this unique Kathmandu I learned to love. Namaste, 🙏🏼.

Check-in oli sileä ja tehokas, ja minua tervehtiin lämmin hymy ja tuoreet juomat. Huoneeni oli spotless, kauniisti sisustettu, ja tarjosi hämmästyttävä näkymä jokainen yksityiskohta oli mielellään järjestetty mukavuutta ja rentoutumista. Hotellin tilat ylittivät odotukseni. Syötybuffet oli erinomainen, laaja valikoima tuoreita, maukasta vaihtoehtoja sopia jokaiseen makuun. Talonhoitoryhmä säilytti kaiken täydellisesti koko oleskeluni. Arvostan myös hiljaista ilmapiiriä ja erinomaista Wi-Fi-yhteyttä, mikä tekee siitä ihanteellisen sekä vapaa-ajan että työskentelyyn. Mikä todella asettaa tämän hotellin erossa on vieraanvaraisuustaso. Jokainen tiimijä meni ylä- ja kauemmaksi varmistaa, että minulla oli mukava oleskelu suosittelemalla paikallisia nähtävyyksiä auttaa kuljetus. Kokonaisuudessaan tämä hotelli yhdistää ylellisyyttä, mukavuutta ja aitoa huolenpitoa parhaalla mahdollisella tavalla. Suosittelen sitä erittäin kenelle tahansa vierailevalle alueelle ja en voi odottaa palaavan pian!

Such a nice view and friendly staff! I really enjoyed every moment at the hotel. The location is perfect — it’s right next to the national park, and I could actually see the river from the balcony. It’s also on the main street, so it’s easy to get anywhere. The room was in perfect condition and very clean. The air conditioner worked really well. The staff were all so friendly and kind.

On this special day, I chose to check in at Shanker hotel. The warm service,delicious food and quality environment,everything is so good. The hotel prepares decorations and cake very thoughtfully, surprised us. Due to the late arrival time, the hotel also thoughtfully provided me with dinner order so that could enjoy it when we arrived. Finally the food upexpectedly delicious. I recommend you to choose Shanker hotel. Wherever it’s a vacation or celebration it is best choice.

This made our visits to the stupa incredibly convenient and allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in its serene atmosphere. The daily free yoga and meditation sessions held within the monastery on the premises are truly transformative. We highly recommend inquiring about the schedule from the attentive hotel staff – it's an experience that added immeasurable value to our stay. Olen ollut äskettäin Basera Boutique Hotel, ja minun täytyy sanoa, se oli fantastinen kokemus! Tämä viehättävä uusi hotelli todella kiinnittää Nepalin olemus sen kauniilla vibe. Se on erittäin puhdas ja kätevästi sijaitsee lähellä kaikkia tärkeimpiä nähtävyyksiä. Yksi korostaa minulle oli poolit oli lyhyt ja täydellinen tuoreen dip. Ja älä edes aloita minua aamiaisella! Oli niin monia herkullisia vaihtoehtoja valita, plus heidän kahvia ja olut lautas oli mukava kosketus. Henkilöstö meni ylä- ja kauemmaksi tehdäkseen oleskelumme muistoksi. He auttoivat meitä varaamaan taksit ja jopa järjestää lentokentän pickups ja pudotus lennoillemme Katmandu. He tarjosivat myös suuria suosituksia matkailuja ja paikkoja tutkia. Huoneessamme oli hämmästyttävä näkymä vuorista, joka oli vain jäätelö kakun. En voi odottaa palata Basera Boutique Hotel seuraavalla matkalla!
