I have stayed at Danubius chain in Budapest before, Helia which is a spa hotel. This is more of a business location being beside the Puskas Arena and the M2 subway line and the 1 Tram line which gives multiple transit options if not using a hire vehicle or taxi. Breakfast was very decent, service attentive and professional. The room was clean with a few minor issues ie bathtub not draining quickly, furniture showing age (I understand so not an issue) and the facilities very good for my purpose - large gym with all required equipment, smaller pool but still permitted laps and a sauna all of which I used each day. As my last day had me leaving before breakfast, I was provided with a takeaway bag. All much appreciated. Front desk very helpful and kind. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Continental Comfort in Budapest 🏩
For €260 a night 💶, the “junior suite” delivers big on comfort — a bed you’ll melt into 🛏️, pillows with personality, and a breakfast omelette 🍳 that could win awards. The staff are genuinely lovely 😊, and the building itself has a historic glass dome that makes you stop and stare.
Not everything hit the mark — the “wellness centre” (a sauna that’s more lukewarm hug than steamy escape 🧖♂️) and toiletries that smell like disappointment. Luxury touches didn’t quite sparkle, yet the space was clean, practical, and restful 😌.

We really appreciated our stay at Corinthia. We got an early check in and the front desk associate upgraded our room to a deluxe. The room is spacious and the bed felt like a cloud. We stayed at the hotel for a special occasion and the hotel sent a bottle of sparkling wine and cake up to our room which made it even more special. The hotel is very well located near tram, metro and bus. Plenty of restaurants around. It was a very good experience and we’ll for sure stay at the same hotel if we ever come back to budapest.

I had urgent night to stay. Difficult to find because no sign, luckily when I arrived the lady at counter still there to help me contact staff and they are were nice.
Hotel staff add my WhatsApp guide how to check in. But it will be more easier if you just make check in instructions by photos send to WhatsApp. Unlock the door need to download app which it very difficult if you no internet. Toilet no curtain to prevent water when I use their bath towel wipes toilet floor was dusty. Hotel not provide drinking water.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and I am truly impressed by the overall experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, polite, and always ready to help with a smile. The check-in process was smooth and professional, which made a great first impression.
The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day, and I really appreciated the attention to detail. The bed was comfortable, and the atmosphere was quiet, which allowed me to rest very well.

We had a great stay at Lion’s Garden Hotel! The pool and spa area felt like a private escape—we practically had it all to ourselves. The staff were friendly, and the hotel strikes a perfect balance between elegance and coziness, offering all the right amenities without breaking the bank. Plus, it’s pretty central, making it easy to explore many of Budapest’s top attractions. Would definitely stay here again!

Location is not exactly in the heart of the city, but it is not far away. Very clean and I personally love the facility and design of the hotel, the cherry on top is the heart warming service, overall definitely worth the price if you want a comfy and classy place to stay it's the one, but if you want a room with river view, maybe go with Intercontinental or marriot but their appearance does not look to nice

Tämä hotelli oli siisti ja kaikki henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Söimme lounasta River Barissa, joka oli kohtuuhintainen ja ruoka oli hyvää. / Meillä ei ollut aamiaista, joten emme voi kommentoida sitä.
Huone oli siisti, hieman vanhanaikainen, mutta sieltä löytyi kaikki tarvittava. Kylpylä oli siisti, suosittelen ottamaan mukaan liukukengät/crocsit, koska uima-allasalueen lattia oli erittäin liukas, vaikka hotelli tarjoaakin kylpytakin ja tohvelit. Yksi saunoista oli pois käytöstä, mutta heillä oli muita käytettävissä. Sijaintinsa puolesta se on hieman syrjässä, mikä oli mukavaa, koska siellä oli hiljaista. Otimme taksin ja käytimme raitiovaunua päästäksemme keskustaan, mikä oli melko helppoa.
Kaiken kaikkiaan erittäin hyvä hinta-laatusuhde täällä ja erittäin hyvä, että kylpyläpalvelut sisältyvät hintaan ilman lisämaksua.

1. Location was perfect. Right across from the Opera House and there is a subway station entry right outside of the hotel
2. Facility: this is a newly built hotel (I think they only opened a year ago). Every thing is stylish and beautiful. Consistent with the W Hotels aesthetic.
3. Service: the staff was super friendly and thoughtful. We were celebrating our anniversary and they offered some chocolate and dessert in the room and when we dined there!!
4. They only have one restaurant there that serves Asian fusion at night and break in the morning. I would give it a 4 out of 5.
Overall one of our favorites stays ever.

The facial was just okay, though I did have good experiences with the massage and mud wrap services. Breakfast looked fantastic, but unfortunately the taste didn’t live up to the presentation.
During my trip, I stayed at four different hotels across Budapest. This was the most expensive, yet it’s the one I would rate the lowest.

EE.T.For sure, the hotel is in general nice. Very big Pool, nice Spa area. The room sizes are well (25+m2). Furniture are simple, plain usefull (about Holiday Inn style). Size of cabinets good for a 2 weeks stay with 2 persons. I liked the relatively big work desk. 2 armchairs and a small round table for your comfort. The bathroom good. Just thr hose with shower head was too short for tall people.
Cleanness was good. But, be aware,you need to ask for room cleaning. They do not do automatically.
This hotel mainly is for vacation/ family vacation. So, there als is a kids play room.
What I did not like so much, eas the dinner. It was very Hungarian style. Means, a lot of meat and heavy food. I was missing more vegetables. Cooked or fresh, but not so much pickled.
On other hand, breakfast has been great!
Parking at the hotel is free of charge. And the parking lot really is big.
Over all best place to stay in this area.

VVieraskäyttäjäAltho pricey, everything was nearly perfect. Except for housekeeping who didnt clear debris and hair from the shower drainage. So for 2 consecutive days, we had to shift to the bathtub in the middle of the shower.
The bottom of the toilet was also uncleaned properly.
Spa, gym and most of all the New York Cafe was an experience to stay in the hotel for. No need to queue.
