The hotel has beautiful grounds and super friendly staff, especially in the restaurant. Stayed in an executive room which was clean with a four poster bed. The AC in winter time was a welcome addition and the fact that it was switched on before I checked in was thoughtful. In general, these rooms could do with a bit of general maintenance - ceilings look old and worn and it was really difficult to open and close the door. Breakfast catered to all tastes. For a stay in Modimolle, Shangri-La is a good choice.

This hotel exceeded all our expectations in terms of quality, luxury and service. The hotel is a short drive from the local airport and is perfect for safari. We used it as a base to visit different sections of KNP. We really enjoyed the stay and would love to come back. The facilities at the hotel are excellent and very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Easy check in; lots of privacy; luxury room is smaller than what’s advertised online however the need is extremely comfortable; great location as it’s close to all the amenities; pool is nice and clean

The Bathroom basin drain seem blocked as the water was slot to escape.
The breakfast venue was so loud , chef was good, but the tables were left dirty after people were done.
Other than that, good hotel for family

This is the perfect place for nature lovers who also want real comfort and luxury. The lodge is exquisitely decorated and it was a pleasure to sit with a coffee and watch bush bucks, warthogs, kudu and all types of birds come into the garden. Walking around the lodge I came close to giraffes, zebras and more. It was breathtaking. I stayed for 2 blissful nights and enjoyed delicious home cooked meals, a wonderfully comfortable bed and hot baths each day. I hope to come back in future!

CCMVX9Exquisite location with such friendly staff that stand at the ready to help and cater to every whim. Booking a regular room is recommended as the larger room has a door which borders the main guest area. As such, it is extremely noisy. This room also looks out on the main patio with no inner curtains with the result that there’s no privacy. A regular room offers the same level of comfort, but with added privacy on the deck area and its further away from the main guest area which offers peace and quiet. All rooms look out onto a beautiful valley with proverbial four poster beds shaped as elephant tusks. The only negative were the old, lumpy pillows, which need urgent replacement. The chef cooks traditional African meals which were delicious, but for this type of venue, needs perhaps a bit more finesse in terms of having better options for a continental breakfast and enquiring with guests as to how they would prefer their meat cooked beforehand. A word of warning to coffee lovers, there’s only instant coffee, so better go and enjoy the hospitality armed with your own!

not only us, our safari guide told us ”this is one of best lodge in this area” and we are sure so.
The owner Ruan and his wife are very good person,friendly and kind, they cared us all the time.
They arranged from various activity like game drive to transportation.
The room and restaurant are very sophisticated,cozy we had a relaxing time there whole day.
What I must say is meals. I loved oxtail stew and traditional lamb steak they served us.
we definitely reccomened this lodge if my friends visit Kuruger, and come again

VVieraskäyttäjäKingfisher Creek Safari Lodge was AMAZING! It was difficult to know where to book in this area and I couldn't have selected better. Annie is a world class host and the staff are wonderful. The lodge was clean, the amenities were top notch, the food was divine. Annie helped us book all of our activities including transfers and curated meals around our plans. The grounds are beautiful, all her products, lodging and food are high quality and I dream to return. A beautiful stay all around.

EElenapashВсё было на высоком уровне. Встретили очень доброжелательно, красивая ухоженная территория. Уютные номера, в которых было всё необходимое. Чай, кофе, вода в неограниченном доступе в течение всего времени. В стоимость номера было включено два сафари. Наш гид(Сидни) постарался максимально показать нам разнообразные дикого мира Южной Африки. Отдельно спасибо поварам, всё было очень вкусно и приготовлено с душой. Особенно вечернее барбекю . Ещё хочется сказать, большое спасибо, девушке менеджеру , которая нас встретила и всегда готова была откликнуться на наши просьбы и решить любые наши проблемы. С удовольствием вернёмся к вам снова, потому-что вы подарили нам незабываемые впечатления!
