Very clean and next to sea hotel. Service at restaurant can be improved, waiters are plenty but no one sees that guest request are fulfilled they merely become messenger pass the request to another in the end no one has the responsibility.

色々とありすぎましたが、総合的にスタッフは皆とても一生懸命で優しくて良い人たちでした！
まず、Trip.comで予約していた4泊分の予約がチェックイン時に予約されていなかった様子。スタッフはたくさんいるのですが英語で問題なく意思疎通できるスタッフが2人くらいしかおらず毎回なかなかその2人に当たらない笑。
バタバタと部屋に案内されるもエアコンのリモコンが見当たらず、ちょうどスタッフがタオルを持ってきてくれて(恐らく急いで提供した部屋だったので準備が完璧ではない部屋だったのかな？)そのタイミングでリモコンをお願いすると比較的すぐ持ってきてくれました。wi-fiパスワードが電話に手書きで書いてあるがかすれて読めずまたスタッフを探して聞く笑。
お湯が出ると思っていたら常温(始めちょっと冷たいけど頑張って浴びているとなぜかだんだんあったかくなってる気がする不思議、でも温度は全く同じだった笑)で水圧もかなり弱い。スタッフにお願いするも温度は恐らくどうにもならない模様。水圧だけでもとお願いしたら少しだけ良くなりました。ただ次の日の夜になるとまた水圧が弱いので4日間毎日シャワー前に水圧を調整してもらうようお願いをしていた。水圧チェックを確かめに来る時にスタッフが靴のままバスマットにのり、水で靴も濡れてる為、バスマットが黒く… 2日連続これをされたので、水圧良くなったのでチェックはも大丈夫ですーとこちらから伝えた。文化の違いかもしれないけどやはりゲストのバスマットが黒くなるのとか気にしないのかな。
Trip.com (***********も同様) に載っていたランドリーサービス、自転車無料貸出、両替などは全てなかったです笑
ロケーションは海の目の前で気持ちいいです。町中までも歩いて10〜20分で着きますが、私は夜の野良犬が怖すぎて(昼は寝ててのんびりしているのに夜はスーパーアクティブ..)毎回トゥクトゥクを使わざるをえなかったです。
ホテル自体は悪くないですが、やはりシャワーだけがどうしても気になりました。あと停電は毎日頻繁におこりました。(特に困りはしなかったですが長い時で数時間笑)
スタッフは本当にみんな問題を解決しようと必死で要望を聞いてくれようとします。とても穏やかでフレンドリーでハニカミ笑顔をいつもしてくれます笑
ただ英語が結構弱いので根気強く伝えるのが必要です。

Fantastic location. The swimmable beach is 100m to left of the hotel. Very quiet and peaceful. Beach has shade so you are not in the sun 100%. Good staff interaction. Rooms are big, most have some sea view. Food is on par for Sri Lanka, primarily local cuisine, a bit pricey for the quality though. Overall, recommended.

At the staff were very friendly. Special thanks to both Robinson and Ruchira!! I was on BB basis and the breakfast was very good! And unlike other places where they offer chicken bacon these guys had the good stuff! Thanks

Восторг полнейший) Начиная от сотрудников, которые нас встречали на входе в отель. Совсем не хотелось уезжать, но смогли забронировать только на один день, на другие даты уже не было свободных вилл. Встретил нас главный менеджер и у нас был личный помощник.
Все так красиво, номера с собственным двориком более уединенные, чем те, что с выходом к морю. Интерьер очень стильный, классная зона для чая и душ на улице, а самое главное-это наличие ванной) В главном корпусе есть зона для работы на компьютере и детская зона-невероятно красивая комната. На пляже много фотозон, возле бассейна есть бар, официанты разносят напитки. Завтрак идеальный, подача и сами блюда-высший класс. Ужин понравился, заказывали блюдо от шефа, оно зависит от улова в этот день. У нас были лобстеры. Везде делают комплиментики-кокосы при вселении, креветки у бассейна, детокс напитки на завтрак и т.д. Много путешествуем, но именно этот отель запал в сердце. Наверное, дело ещё в душевном отношении к каждому гостю. Главный менеджер Умберто - итальянец, провожал нас вместе с остальными сотрудниками. Обязательно вернёмся ещё.

實名點贊攜程 ：先是預訂了亭可馬裏的其他酒店 ，但是店家告知我沒房 攜程顯示訂單成功，打電話給客服，客服問我需要預訂其他家酒店可以跟他們説，我説亭可馬裏衹剩這個酒店能住了，但是差價較大，最後攜程給我補差價 ，住進了這酒店；酒店位置其實稍稍偏一些 適合避世 在那多呆幾天；離去追🐳 和潛水都有點距離；酒店價格在這 服務沒得説，晚餐吃了beach seafood BBQ，兩個人190刀（不含小費）

Прекрасный отель! Чистый, уборка 2 раза в день, завтраки шикарные, территория зеленая и чистая, пляж песчаный и чистый, лежаки под пальмами. Персонал супер, как будто только тебя и ждали. Номера очень удобные. Нам все понравилось, мы вернемся, ребята! Вы лучшие!

MMr Adam PorterThe rooms are incredible and the beach is lovely but this is NOT a 4* hotel. The rest of the place seems run down and not looked after, the gardens are a mess, volleyball court isn’t usable and I’ve not seen a children’s play area. Staff are scarce, there is no pool bar and you have to go in search of beach towels or drinks. The restaurant is extremely poor, long wait for service and we were the only ones in the restaurant. Food options weren’t available and beer was only put in the fridge when I asked for it, so I then had to wait for it to cool down before it was served, when food arrived it wasn’t great, felt like a quick microwave meal. Room initially had no hot water, which we had to wait to be fixed, there is nothing in the mini bar as advertised, you just get an empty fridge, hairdryer had to be requested and room was missing towels and robes etc on arrival. Rooms took a long time to be made up each day and again some towels and robes were not replenished and had to be requested again. Parts of the hotel were closed and lots of lights at night flickered. They also advertise that the hotel has a night club and a billiards room, we haven’t seen any sign of a nightclub and the billiards room is two pool tables, one completely out of use with tape over it and the other is extremity rundown, dusty and wonky that you can’t play a game on it properly. No staff ever gave us a briefing on arrival or told us about the hotel, we have had to explore, guess and ask questions. Staff have been somewhat helpful, they speak English but don’t seem to understand it when they’re asked questions. Hotel has a what’s app service but responses are very slow and even then not fully understood. It’s like it used to be a 4* hotel but it’s run by pirates 🏴☠️

VVieraskäyttäjäI recently stayed at the Giman Free Hotel and had a unique experience. This hotel is truly isolated, far away from civilization, making it a perfect spot for introverts or those looking for solitude.
While the hotel itself is clean, it is clear that some renovations are needed to update the facilities. However, the staff more than makes up for any shortcomings with their friendliness and willingness to accommodate guests.
The restaurant at the hotel surprised me with its delicious food, which I found to be better than what I have experienced at some five-star hotels in Sri Lanka. The beach near the hotel is clean.
However, the downside of the beach which is very wild and long is the amount of garbage and plastic that washes up on the shore. Since the beach is deserted it was disheartening to see all the pollution scattered along the shoreline.
Overall, if you are seeking a quiet retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city life, the Giman Free Hotel is a great option. Just be prepared for a bit of roughness around the edges of the beach.

VVieraskäyttäjäWe enjoyed our stay at the beach bungalows here. We came during off season and they cleaned the pool for us and we had the beachfront bungalow. The breakfast was really good! However, this hotel also operates a liquor store that runs 24/7 right in the middle of the guest rooms so at all hours of the day there were people walking through to buy alcohol (during breakfast time even) and then would sit down on the premises to consume their purchases. As two young travellers it was not a huge deal but if you are a family it might not be the space for you!

The sea absolutely beautiful and I enjoyed so much the walking on the endless beach. The staff is amazing , made my solo trip so rich of memories and extra care, done multiple activities and I recommend the dinner in the cellar as they have the best cellar in Sri Lanka , and also a must the dinner on the platform in the middle of the sea! A big thanks for the unforgettable memories , they made me live a dream

Service was good, friendly and kind staff with great English language skills. My friend and she's family really enjoyed staying in this hotel. Swimming pool, also to childrens pool was very nice size and well maintained, very clean water and surrounding.

The staff at the Sunstar Hotel were very friendly and accommodating, making sure that all of our needs were met throughout our stay.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Sunstar Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Nilaveli.
