Beautiful hotel not far from city centre. Staff were lovely and welcoming.
The room was large, with twin beds put together, which was unexpected with one duvet over both. I did expect separate twin beds, but it was ok.
The hotel itself is full of history, including a knight. I called him Gerald. I would love to have been there longer than the one night so I could fully explore the hotel.
We did not use the spa, and again, I would have loved to. We are likely to go back to fully experience what the hotel offers.
Parking was easy, with plenty of spaces.
Breakfast is buffet style plenty to choose from. No one shows you around just go and help yourself.
We look forward to going back.

Amazing weekend getaway in a lovely location. Lovely room, nice dinner, helpful staff.
Few negatives - old TV - no Netflix, no tea/coffee/kettle provided in the rooms, room telephone does not work so difficult to reach reception (long wait on direct number from mobile) we ended up walking down to reception to speak to someone.
Overall a great experience and will likely return.

Stayed in the Dukes Head hotel- Kings Lynn to meet with friends the day before a wedding.
The hotel itself is located well in the centre of town and on first look in good condition around the outside and the lobby.
Our room on the other hand was not great. The shower was leaking, the floor not cleaned. The worst of it was being placed next to the lift, the noise was ridiculous, like having a tv on full volume all throughout the night. I noted this to reception and no apologies or acknowledgement to the issue seemed to sync in. I would not recommend staying at this hotel at all.

We lived one night in a king bed room 416, there was no heater available, only air conditioner, but the air-con wasn't working for heating function for the whole night since we entered the room, the wind came out are all CLOD! It was freezing all night compared the temperature was only 2 degree that day. The experience was terrible.

Service was good
Lighting in the room was not good - when you enter a room you expect a light switch to be near the door instead of having to go to the light switches half way into the room next to the bed, even the receptionist was baffled. To get a light on near to the door entrance you have to turn the bathroom light on !!!
A socket to the left hand side of the window is fitted sideways !!!
The sockets to the right hand side of the dressing table should not be one on top of the other
Lots of condensation on the windows therefore dripping due to the aluminium frames

I stayed at The George Hotel in Norwich for a quick overnight stop and I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. Although I booked a super cheap deal for a single room, I was given a double room which was warm and comfortable. The location is easy to reach and it's about a 15 minute walk to the big shopping area in Norwich. The hotel staff were really attentive and friendly during check in and check out, they certainly made me feel very welcome and I wouldn't mind staying at The George Hotel again. They have an onsite restaurant called The Arlington Bistro which I would like to try as I didn't have a meal there during my stay. In summary, I can definitely recommend this nice, friendly hotel for everyone.

VVieraskäyttäjäThe hotel is a short walk from the railway and within easy access to the Cathedral and city centre. I stayed there for 2 nights. In the 1st night, the bathroom light was out of order as there was no one in the hotel to take care of it. Nothing was done in the following morning, and the only thing to be done is to change the room in the afternoon.
The hotel looks tired and needs some touching up, yet the rooms are spacious, functional and clean, and the bed is comfortable. There is an issue with dampness in walls though it is not too serious. If you look for a budget place to sleep at night, this is the place for you.

AAngelG83I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Imperial Hotel and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable.
The service throughout our stay was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with any requests or questions we had. They truly made us feel like valued guests and their genuine hospitality was greatly appreciated.
Another great aspect of the Imperial Hotel is its convenient location. Being within walking distance of the beach is a huge plus for those who enjoy spending time by the ocean. It's wonderful to have the opportunity to easily access the beach and enjoy the beautiful surroundings without having to travel far. The proximity to the beach adds an extra level of relaxation and enjoyment to the overall experience at the hotel.
Overall, my family and I had a fantastic experience . The combination of a delicious breakfast, excellent service, and clean accommodations made our stay truly memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a top-notch experience.

What a truly wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, The Bedingfeld Arms delivered exactly what we were hoping for—and more. Nestled in a charming location, it felt like a gentle escape into the countryside, with just the right mix of warmth and ease.
The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. We lingered over our meal, not wanting it to end! The rooms were just what we needed: cozy, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. It was so lovely to wake up refreshed and step out into such a peaceful setting.
While some might wish for a slightly more “posh” or traditional pub feel—Tom did miss the classic old-world touches like dark walnut floors and the scent of oak smoke in the air—we both appreciated the light, airy ambiance and modern comfort. It’s clear The Bedingfeld Arms has found its own style, and it’s working beautifully.
Altogether, it was a delightful, cheerful, and refreshing day, and we’re so glad we chose to spend it here. Thank you to everyone at The Bedingfeld Arms for making it so special—we can’t wait to return!

VVieraskäyttäjäA very warm welcome from Mike who manages the establishment. Our room was called Treasure of the Broads. It was beautifully decorated, a huge modern bathroom with rain shower over the top of it.
We had a meal in the evening and although we hadn’t booked prior to arrival and they were fully booked Mike had no issue with finding us a table with a great view of the Broads.
We would definitely return again in the future. The atmosphere of the pub is relaxed but very professional. Credit to the Chef.
A wedding was taking place on the day we arrived but this didn’t cause us any noise related issues and we enjoyed watching from afar!
All staff and Mike couldn’t do enough for us and we were offered a late departure which we kindly accepted.
A shame we couldn’t have stayed longer but a good excuse to return!
Thank you Mike and team for your exceptional service. What a wonderful experience we had.

VVieraskäyttäjäBooked for one night to go to the football at Carrie road which is about 15min walk from hotel town centre is about 20min walk, it is easy to get to from the station just a short walk, arrived and some other guests let me in at first as the manager was not there, he arrived a few minutes later and quickly booked quests in, very easy process he showed me were I was staying as staying the other side of hotel, told me if I had any problems to ring the number on the paper stuck to the back of the door, and if I wanted to use the WiFi the code was also there. Room was small but had a shower toilet and sink as well as a hairdryer and clothes rack. There was also a kettle with tea and coffee facilities. Overall place was clean and tidy I stayed in the top part at the front it was a pleasant stay.

VVieraskäyttäjäCommunal toilets were clean, the hotel was warm but due to not being able to adjust the heating in the room ( house rules ) it was unbearably hot so we had to have the window open - no consideration from the staff at the restaurant next to the hotel as they were loudly throwing things into the bins just below our room at 12am. Therefore my partner had extremely broken sleep, did not feel rested and was exhausted the next day, but good value for what it is and likely better for solo business travelling as the hotel can supply earplugs.
Rang the number for the hotel as advised before checking in, called three times but no answer so had to ring the doorbell twice before being let in, staff seemed unhappy to be answering the door and slightly unwelcoming ( this was at only 5pm )

No complains even free drinks I’m mini fridge. Only issue was payment because I did mine through a travel agent and got a bit confusing but in the end solved itself but service was amazing throughout loved it!
