Free shuttle bus from pudong airport really is a big plus! Took about 10-15mins to get to hotel from airport, v fast, perfect for layover. Room was pretty big, basic amenities all available. We ordered food delivery and there was a robot that sent them up to us haha super cool! Cleanliness could be better I feel, some hair was on the towel ＞＜ breakfast option was not a lot but I enjoyed the noodles and dumplings

The atmosphere was calm and cozy, and everything was thoughtfully set up for rest and comfort. We especially loved being able to unwind in the onsen after long days of walking and sightseeing. It was the perfect balance of Japanese-style relaxation right in the middle of Shanghai. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay and a great place to slow down, rest well, and recharge. We would definitely recommend Gokurayuku to anyone looking for a peaceful and unique hotel experience in the city.
