The City Hotel, Thimphu is a modern, boutique hotel centrally located in Thimphu's modest CBD. The rooms were spacious and clean, and all utilities (hot water, AC, lifts, Wifi) worked well. The king bed was comfortable and the linen clean and new. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served in a modern dining room that also had an appealing balcony with seating. There were 6-8 dishes on offer which included traditional Bhutanese and Indian cuisine. We found the food delicious. There is reserved space outside for tour vehicles to park. The room had a security box which was great for cameras etc, but too small for my laptop. We would definitely stay here again.

Moreover, the hotel's breathtaking views added an extra layer of charm to my stay. Whether enjoying a meal at the on-site restaurant or relaxing in the room, i was treated to panoramic vistas that enhanced the overall experience. In conclusion, i highly recommend kiss villa to anyone seeking a getaway with impeccable service, fantastic amenities, and a stunning backdrop. My time here was nothing short of exceptional, and i look forward to returning in the future”

The Capitol Hotel Thimphu is clean and modern with great amenities. I requested a higher floor room away from the elevator but I got one that is on the 2nd floor and near the elevator. The front desk reception staff told me that the hotel is fully booked that's why iooamy request was not considered. It was about $120 discounted price from trip.com

My recent stay at the Numinous Hotel in Thimphu was a pleasant experience. The hotel's location was convenient, providing easy access to the city's attractions and amenities. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests.   The hotel's restaurant offered a variety of delicious Bhutanese and international dishes. The food was well-prepared and the service was prompt. The hotel also has a bar where guests can relax and enjoy a drink. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay at the Numinous Hotel and would recommend it to others visiting Thimphu.
