"Because I had a long transit, I decided to book a hotel near the airport. I booked 4 rooms, and in the details it said there was a free airport transfer. I contacted the number provided a week before arrival, but the response was very minimal. They only told me to contact them again once I arrived. When I arrived, they asked how many suitcases we had. In the end, they came with a small car, so they had to pick us up twice. The driver who picked us up was very unfriendly and looked quite angry for no clear reason. When we arrived at the reception, we were not treated well. One of the 4 rooms we booked had a very bad smell, and it had to be changed to another room. Before check-in, I told them I needed an airport transfer in the morning around 5 AM. However, they said we had to be ready at 4 AM because they needed to make two trips to take us to the airport. So we agreed. At 4 AM, two of my friends were not ready yet, and the receptionist got very angry and even told me to leave. I’m very disappointed with the unfriendly service. Honestly, I wouldn’t have minded paying extra for the airport transfer if it meant better service"

But this time, the Hampton by Hilton Xiamen City Plaza truly made me look good in front of my client! After checking out, my client specifically gave feedback saying the experience was superb, so I absolutely had to leave a heartfelt five-star review. First off, the location is truly unbeatable. It's right next to City Plaza, and Metro Line 3 is just outside, making trips to the airport and high-speed rail station very quick. This was super convenient for my client's business meetings and seeing partners. My client particularly praised the service, saying the front desk staff were extremely professional and enthusiastic from check-in to check-out, and very efficient. Especially when checking out and pressed for time, the front desk proactively guided them on how to get an electronic invoice, which was processed almost instantly. This kind of efficiency is a huge plus for business travelers. My client also mentioned that the hotel has robot food delivery, which they found quite smart. Furthermore, the room was very comfortable, maintaining Hampton's consistent quality. The mattress was just right—neither too soft nor too hard—ensuring a good night's sleep, and the room was spotlessly clean. My client was also very satisfied with the breakfast, which offered a rich variety, including local Xiamen specialties. All in all, this hospitality experience was very successful. The hotel exceeded my client's expectations in terms of facilities, location, and service. In the future, for any business接待 or travel needs, this will definitely be my top choice!
