"A beautiful hotel but falls short of 5 star service. The service received was pretty inconsistent as some members of staff and certain situations were dealt with to a top standard but the hotel fell short in other areas. The poolside was not staffed so on our 2 days that we spent there (would have spent more but it was boring), there was nothing provided to eat or drink. Spending time by the pool is a big part of my holiday so this was really disappointing. When I enquired with a staff member, I was told it is un-manned due to a lack of guests using the pool. This wasnt an acceptable reason. The other situation I had was when I asked if I could change money using my contactless card (we forgot our bank cards!) - 2 members of staff said it is possible then when I went to change the money, the manager(Nicole) came and advised that it actually isnt possible. Very unprofessional. Check-in was really nice and Kartik was friendly and helpful. The gentleman at the door was very, very helpful in all matters and 2 members of staff at Alnafourah were also very helpful and friendly. We watched football at Alnafourah and we were treated well and nicely accommodated. Another incident occured when we came back to our room following a visit to the pool and having had our room made up, there were no towels! I had to call twice to housekeeping to advise them as they took so long to respond then when a member from housekeeping arrived, he told me the towels will take an hour to arrive! Never experienced something like this at a 5 star hotel. I had to go down to reception to resolve the situation and I will say that Nicole did sort it out immediately, the housekeeping manager visited our room to apologise and provided a complimentary fruit bowl. Nicole also offered a wonderful gesture by giving us complimentary entrance to a beautiful 'brunch by the pool' evening dinner. This was a lovely gesture as the food on offer was delightful. The gesture was very much appreciated. The location of the hotel isnt the best as there isnt too much to do in the area but taxis are so easy to get, this isnt too much of an issue. Overall, a really nice hotel but in my opinion, falls short of 5 star standard but does provide good value for the price. Nice but I wouldn't stay here again. Overall service needs improvement."

"I recently stayed at the JW Marriott Marquis and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff were genuinely welcoming and attentive, making sure every detail was perfect throughout my visit. My room was spacious, and spotlessly clean. I especially appreciated the stunning city and sea views The dining options were excellent, . Breakfast was a highlight fresh, plentiful, and served with wonderful service."

"Great experience at Steigenberger Hotel. The facilities are nice clean and comfortable. Location was great too near to the tourist attractions. "The room was very clean and large. Feras, the front desk staff from Jordan was very friendly. The check-in procedure was smooth and quick. Unfortunately, there was light leakage between the curtain box and the curtain, with a gap of about 15 cm. I can't imagine that the curtains in a five-star hotel room would leak light. I checked in at 3:30 AM, and it was about 4 o'clock after I washed and went to bed. The light woke me up at 7 o'clock in the morning, and I didn't sleep well, which affected my schedule for the day. This is my fourth and last time staying in this hotel"

"I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Hilton Doha for a wonderful stay! We stayed at the hotel from May 6 to May 18 and were absolutely delighted. Excellent service, friendly and attentive staff, comfortable rooms with a stunning sea view – everything was top-notch. The breakfasts were delicious and varied, housekeeping was done daily and to a high standard. I would also like to highlight the front desk team – always helpful and professional. Our vacation was truly perfect – relaxing atmosphere, convenient location, beach and pool, everything thoughtfully arranged. I highly recommend Hilton Doha to anyone planning a trip to Qatar! "It’s ok. The location is good and close to the city center mall. Good for a walk or running at the Bay with breathtakingviews. The hotel was clean, the service is just ok. Shower gel was missing and it took 4 hours to get it. There is a washing machine but no liquid. Washing liquid was promised to get soon, but it took half a day and a call to „0“. At the end we were told it will be purchased from a shop at extra costs. (If you wanna wash, bring liquid). The extra bed we pre-ordered was not ready and we had to call „0“ three times. Its all not a problem itself, but many things in just 4 nights is for me just ok. The front desk stuff is always kinda busy and arrogant in communication. Not just friendly and helpful as I expected. Security staff is very friendly and helpful. Will choose another hotel next time."
