Hotellit aamiaisella kohteessa Doha

"Olin äärimmäisen pettynyt toiseen oleskeluun. Pysyin siellä puoli vuotta sitten ja sain super viiden tähden palvelua, mutta tällä kertaa siitä tuli lisämaksu. Sama lento, sama tilanne, mutta käsitelty eri tavalla. 23 tunnin transit Dohassa, transit check-in -vaihtoehtona, saapui klo 6.30 aamulla ja uloskirjautuminen klo 23. Vastaanotto oli erittäin lämmin ja järjesti aikaisen sisäänkirjautumisen, kun kirjauduin sisään ensimmäistä kertaa (vastaavasti kirjauduin ulos aikaisin, mutta tällä kertaa sain maksaa ylimääräisen huoneen. korkeahintainen vastaanottojärjestelmä, jouduin maksamaan 150 korttikolikkoa aamukahdeksaan saakka, kunhan kirjaudut sisään ennen klo 14.00. Se ei todellakaan ole ystävällistä meille, jotka olemme äärimmäisen väsyneitä lentokoneesta poistuttuamme ja haluavat vain ottaa päiväunet. Sinä aamuna oli myös ihmisiä, joita pyydettiin maksamaan, ja heillä ei ollut muuta vaihtoehtoa kuin odottaa turisteja aulassa ollessasi uninen."

"A beautiful hotel but falls short of 5 star service. The service received was pretty inconsistent as some members of staff and certain situations were dealt with to a top standard but the hotel fell short in other areas. The poolside was not staffed so on our 2 days that we spent there (would have spent more but it was boring), there was nothing provided to eat or drink. Spending time by the pool is a big part of my holiday so this was really disappointing. When I enquired with a staff member, I was told it is un-manned due to a lack of guests using the pool. This wasnt an acceptable reason. The other situation I had was when I asked if I could change money using my contactless card (we forgot our bank cards!) - 2 members of staff said it is possible then when I went to change the money, the manager(Nicole) came and advised that it actually isnt possible. Very unprofessional. Check-in was really nice and Kartik was friendly and helpful. The gentleman at the door was very, very helpful in all matters and 2 members of staff at Alnafourah were also very helpful and friendly. We watched football at Alnafourah and we were treated well and nicely accommodated. Another incident occured when we came back to our room following a visit to the pool and having had our room made up, there were no towels! I had to call twice to housekeeping to advise them as they took so long to respond then when a member from housekeeping arrived, he told me the towels will take an hour to arrive! Never experienced something like this at a 5 star hotel. I had to go down to reception to resolve the situation and I will say that Nicole did sort it out immediately, the housekeeping manager visited our room to apologise and provided a complimentary fruit bowl. Nicole also offered a wonderful gesture by giving us complimentary entrance to a beautiful 'brunch by the pool' evening dinner. This was a lovely gesture as the food on offer was delightful. The gesture was very much appreciated. The location of the hotel isnt the best as there isnt too much to do in the area but taxis are so easy to get, this isnt too much of an issue. Overall, a really nice hotel but in my opinion, falls short of 5 star standard but does provide good value for the price. Nice but I wouldn't stay here again. Overall service needs improvement."

"The hotel is conveniently located at about 15 minutes drive by taxi from the Hamad international airport. The front desk staff are 25/7 smiling and ready to be of help and assistance! Facilities are well in order. Room was spotless clean. Size of it was very bigger than the photos and much bigger than the other hotels! Bathroom is is also very well designed and all is in good order! All together the perfect choice for the stay over night to catch the flight next day!"

"I was doing a one-night stopover in Doha to break up the abominably long flight from Toronto to Bangkok, and selected this place for my crash pad. It fit the bill perfectly. Very warm welcome at the front desk when I had been on the go for 24 hours and was pretty brain dead, very close proximity to the souq market. Whenever I do an overnight in Doha I think that I should stay longer sometime. I'll probably stay here when I do."

"I recently stayed at City Centre Rotana Jeddah and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and attentive, ensuring a smooth check-in and a comfortable stay throughout. Despite its prime location, the hotel maintains a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Facilities such as the fitness center and pool were clean and well-maintained, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring or meetings. Overall, I highly recommend City Centre Rotana Jeddah for both business and leisure travelers. The combination of luxury, comfort, and top-notch service truly made my stay memorable."

"It was terrible and disgusting. There were bed bugs in room 501! In the morning, my entire body was covered in bites, and they had gotten into our clothes and flown away. My vacation was completely ruined, and I had to spend two days visiting doctors and getting treatment because there were so many bites that I developed an allergic reaction and inflammation. Half of the clothes I wore after washing at 90° were ruined. This was the worst experience I've had with any hotel. Don't stay at this hotel! If you get a 501 number, run!"

"Rakastin oleskeluani Movenpick Hotel Dohassa! Eniten erottui sen läheisyys sekä kansainväliselle lentokentälle että tärkeimmille nähtävyyksille, mikä teki liikkumisesta helppoa ja stressitöntä. Toinen kohokohta oli uskomaton kahvi – ehdottomasti suosikkini joka aamussa. Aamiaisbuffet tarjosi laajan valikoiman maukkaita ruokia, jotka sopivat täydellisesti päivän aloittamiseen. Huoneeni oli viihtyisä ja varustettu kaikella, mitä tarvitsin mukavaan oleskeluun. Vaikka siellä täällä oli pieniä käytön jälkiä, ne eivät vaikuttaneet kokonaisuudessaan positiiviseen kokemukseeni. Kaiken kaikkiaan Movenpick Hotel Doha tarjoaa fantastisen tasapainon hinnan ja laadun välillä, ja sitä suositellaan erityisesti niille, jotka etsivät nopeita ja rentouttavia taukoja samalla kun nauttivat kaupungin viehätyksestä."

"AC leaking water inside the room, and bathroom smell is not acceptable. The hotel in renovated but the maintenace and service look not. Sadly as location is amazing"

"I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Hilton Doha for a wonderful stay! We stayed at the hotel from May 6 to May 18 and were absolutely delighted. Excellent service, friendly and attentive staff, comfortable rooms with a stunning sea view – everything was top-notch. The breakfasts were delicious and varied, housekeeping was done daily and to a high standard. I would also like to highlight the front desk team – always helpful and professional. Our vacation was truly perfect – relaxing atmosphere, convenient location, beach and pool, everything thoughtfully arranged. I highly recommend Hilton Doha to anyone planning a trip to Qatar! We will definitely come back again."
