However, might be inconvenient for people who have sleep difficulty as it’s surrounded by late night clubs and noise can be heard inside the room. "I stayed in this hotel for two nights. The location is quite good. The market and the citadel were easy to reach. There were a lot of restaurants and SPAs around. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They organized a scooter for me to rent and gave me a lot of information about the area and what to do. My room was nice, clean and spacious."

"I recently stayed at Hue Serene Palace, and unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to my expectations. The hotel is older, and while it was relatively clean, it felt quite dated. The decor and facilities are clearly showing their age, and it’s not as modern or fresh as the photos online might suggest.
The rooms were tidy, but the overall atmosphere was not what I expected based on the pictures. If you're looking for something sleek and new, this might not be the place for you.
Another downside was the limited breakfast. The selection was quite basic and lacked variety, which was disappointing if you're hoping for a more substantial meal to start the day.
On the positive side, the location is convenient and the staff were friendly and tried their best to assist. However, the hotel could use a major refresh to match the online photos and provide a better experience for guests."

"A completely new house with high quality furniture and facilities. The location is quiet and from the balcony you can look at rice fields and children playing in the street. It's a 5 minute car and a 20-30 minute walk from downtown and the main tourist attractions. Anyway, just around the corner there is a great coffee shop and many good restaurants are in walking distance. Online assistance in English worked flawlessly and the lady taking care of the house is always present and ready to help. I would surely stay again in this nice little guesthouse. It could also work for longer stays since the balcony rooms have very large wardrobes and cupboards and enough space for comfortable online/from home work."

It was a very pleasant stay! The staff is super nice and helpful, they speak really good English so it’s super easy to communicate. The room itself is spacious, and the balcony is nice. The breakfast is not so big but everything that I tried was super good! About the location, it was super close to a lot of restaurants, and bars which was nice.

A haven for my soul !!!
I accidentally discovered Va Riverside Retreat, and it turned out to be a hidden haven along the peaceful Huong River. The scenery here is simply serene—watching the golden sunset reflected on the water and waking up to the sound of birds at dawn felt like stepping into another world. Besides relaxing in the refreshing pool, I also had the chance to try paddle boarding on the river. One of the most unique moments was listening to the mystical melodies of the Hầu Đồng ceremonies drifting across from Hon Chen Temple—a truly authentic touch of Vietnamese culture. The local breakfast was delicious, simple yet full of flavor, and made the mornings even more memorable. What stood out the most was the staff—they welcomed me like family, making me feel at home even though I was far away from mine.
If you’re looking for more than just a stay, but an experience that touches both your senses and soul, I highly recommend coming here. Discover it as I did, and perhaps you’ll enjoy it even more than I did.

Beyond expectations! Check in/out were breezy, and very kind and helpful receptionists, helped us with airport transfer with good price and some recommendations in this city. Hotel was modernly designed and decorated with quality fittings & furniture. It had sauna facility, no lift but staircase was enough for us. Loved the room, aircond was already on before our arrival which was a very nice gesture(it’s summer month). everything worked well and nicely designed, separate shower and toilet just not bright enough. Bathtub outside of shower room made the ambiance fancy and classy. Scooter rental available with good price, eateries and cafes around, no hassle. It’s highly competitive with the price we paid for this stay, low price with high quality. Thank you

Nice small cozy family run Inn. The room is furnished to a high standard, our room was quiet. Breakfast order were taken each night and freshly prepared the next day by host. We chose this place due its close proximity to the citadel and walkable to nearby attractions. Host were helpful and flexible to let’s checkin early.

The location is a bit remote from the main streets, but it is within a 10 minute motorcycle ride. It is truly a homestay, there is an auntie who lives there full time, who is relatively friendly. It is shown in the pictures, but I didn't notice that the bed doesn't have a proper frame, it basically lies on the floor on a wooden pallet, but the mattress is decent. The room has lots of electronic devices, such as a dehydrator and an insect killer. The TV is huge. The bathroom experience is also good. The huge issue I had, that made my experience poor is a curtain, that doesn't properly close the window, so it's possible to clearly see the room from the yard. The management provided a makeshift half-solution, and assured me they will fix it in future, but I share my experience. There are some other small issues that should be fixed, but after they complete I think guests should have a good stay.

I stayed both in the hostel area and in the hotel room at 4th floor. The hostel is only ok for a short term solo stay but the hotel rooms are pretty ok for a long term stay with a partner,friend. They also have big family rooms. The staff are super nice and helpful. The location is great.

The hotel is very nice And the staff were the best I had in Vietnam. Although the location was around 3.5 km from the night walking and food street of Chu Van An, it was a beautiful, relaxing and quiet place with assisted bike for rent. For me it was very pleasant to reach all the destinations (Empirical city, two mausoleums and the pleasant border of the Parfum River) on a bike. I ordered vegetarian breakfast and the hotel provided me great, fresh and Vietnamese food. The room and the bed were awesome (clean, new and stylish) for relaxing after three very intense days. I especially thank My that took very good care of me, and also Trang for her helpful and kind interaction. I loved it!

The manager is very nice, change room for me to nicer room when complain about toilet smell.
I did not realise the air cond not working properly after I came back in evening and basically the controller can not turn on off or control the air conditioner at all, in top the air cond only blows air at 1 speed abdc1 temperature not cool enough, end up sleeping not much at all while night because of very hot in the room with air cond not working properly.
Not trying to tell people how to manage hotel business, but as manager they should check the conditions of rooms, which are good or bad, cabinets doors, corridor carpet need to be replaced etc, if they want to attract more customers, and regularly inspect the rooms, don't wait till customers complain then try to fix problems. apart from all these hotel manager is an absolute nice person. Feel not easy to leave this hotel because she is so nice, but I need to have cool room to sleep well.
Motorbike rental is very nice from this hotel, she offer half day rate because I arrived at 2 pm.
You can do better, try harder, proactively doing things. Room has 2 nice windows and a nice balcony garden. Location of hotel is right in the centre of night eating place and walking streets.
