"I stayed in the Junior Suite at Scandic Byporten and had an excellent experience. The location is perfect — directly connected to Oslo Central Station, which makes traveling around the city and to the airport incredibly convenient.
The suite was spacious, modern, and very comfortable. I especially appreciated the large windows with great city views and the cozy seating area, which made the room feel more like a small apartment than a hotel. Everything was spotless and well-maintained.
The staff were professional, welcoming, and efficient. Breakfast was another highlight — a wide variety of fresh and tasty options, including local specialties.
Overall, my stay was smooth and relaxing. The Junior Suite is definitely worth it if you want extra comfort and space in the heart of Oslo. Highly recommended!"

"Hotel is located just 2 mins walk to Oslo Central Stn. Also close to city centre, shopping mall and cafes nearby. Room and bed are comfortable. Spacious enough to fit my big luggage and hang my jackets. I like how the bathroom floor is heated so I don't feel cold walking on it at night. "I had an incredible experience at Scandic Go hotel in Oslo. When my Finnair flight to Dubai was canceled, the reception manager went above and beyond. She contacted Oslo airport, explained the situation, and spoke directly to Finnair. Because of her efforts, Finnair took responsibility and rebooked me on Emirates. Thanks to them, I was able to reach Dubai safely. I especially want to highlight the care and attentiveness of the reception manager. She was incredibly kind, professional, and quick to act. "Cozy room and amazing hot shower throughout the day. We reached the hotel early around 12noon and got early check-in as well.
Breakfast was amazing. Front office staff was super friendly and helpful, welcomed us with warm smile and greetings (i forgot her name - long black hair).
The surrounding area may seem dull BUT it was safely with many people walking about. 5min walking distance to pretty much anywhere (tram/metro/restaurants). There's a 7/11 just across the hotel for extra convenience."

They inadvertently made up the sofa bed in the wrong room but quickly rectified it once we called, even though it was late at night. Small but comfortable room for a family of four with a great breakfast. An easy walk to the train station to head to the airport. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to families looking for a central, clean, and reasonably priced accommodation! Thanks for a pleasant stay!

KKalonaGood location around 5min walk from Oslo S station. Breakfast range was good enough. No cleaning for short stays, but daily fresh towels is offered. Room size is comfortable enough, with several hooks & decent counter space. Room is too dim though, not enough lighting. Only 1 pillow each, which is a little too soft.

KKinniFrom the hotel it's easy to walk to some of the main tourist attractions and main streets with many supermarkets and convenience stores around. Our twin room was a little small and didn't have a kettle or fridge, otherwise it was nice and quiet and I slept very well. (A kettle and fridge plus microwave and laundry facilities were available in a shared/public space in the hotel)

NnataliexloGreat location. The breakfast buffet had a big variety of food and I really enjoyed it. The lounge was cozy and staff was really nice.
However, the room is not worth the price I paid for. The room is small with the sink and mirror facing the bed. It is impractical to have the sink in the main room, and to have the mirror facing the bed, which has bad spritual meaning. Toothbrushes are not included, and there is no hair conditioner. There is also no air conditioning, but it is okay since Oslo is a cold city. There are several bugs in the corner of the room, and stains could be seen everywhere. The shower is insanely small, which is not friendly for people with bigger body types. There is also no physical lock in the door of the rooms.
Overall, everything about the hotel is nice except the room.

AAI CHEN CHUALocation is really good. In the middle of the shopping street and very close to the train station. Room is very clean and they provide small helpful items that you may need such as a water bottle. Bed is single size. I didn't know that the check in can be done via their website to get the access code. But I managed to sort it out soon.

BBennett HonThe location is super convenient, 2 min and 10 min walk from metro and Oslo Sentral Station respectively. But the district is full of immigrants especially from the Middle East. Worthy to mention that the area around is quiet old and dirty. The room is well equipped with kitchen facilities that we can cook the meal in the evening. The lobby has a receptionist handling requests.

VVieraskäyttäjäTruly one of the best hotel stays I have ever experienced. The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure we were well accommodated and comfortable throughout. When we arrived at the hotel it was 11AM, so I mentioned to the front desk staff that I know it was far too early for us to receive our room (check in is typically at 3PM) and that we would like to simply drop off our bags. Without any special requests, the front desk staff immediately prepared our room keys of us to check in right away, which was hugely appreciated since we had caught a very early morning flight in. We loved the room. It was very comfortable for the 3 of us, although a bit tight but that's what we expected for hotel rooms in Europe. The bathroom was well fitted and had all the basic toiletries required (shampoo, body wash, hand soap), however we hoped to have body lotion as well, so we asked housekeeping whether any was available and they immediately brought 3 LARGE bottles for each of us to use. I have never seen such massive toiletries and in such generous quantities supplied at any hotel before, which again made us feel very well taken care of. Finally on our check out day our flight was not until 6PM and since checkout is typically at 11AM I requested for just a 1 hr extension. Although they were very busy for it being the beginning of summer holidays, without any hesitation the front desk staff extended our checkout time to 3PM. I was once again very pleasantly surprised and appreciative. My last note is to touch on the complimentary tea and coffee always available in the lobby, as well as the fabulous buffet breakfast they served. Cannot recommend this hotel enough!

On the last night they asked us if we would consider changing apts if one became available. What a joke the place was empty You could shoot a cannon and not hit anyone. If they did not have maintenance available they could have offered the change on the first
Night . Lots of food wasted because we had no cook top.
No front desk means that there is no one to complaint to. Their Automated electronic responses to service requests provides appalling customer service. Emails and emergency phone calls don't generate responses either. A disappointing stay.
