"I stayed at Hotel Sogo Wood Street in August 2025 for a short layover, chosen for its proximity to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (just 1.2 miles away). The location is ideal for travelers needing a quick stop near the airport. Check-in was a bit slow, which was frustrating after a long flight. The lack of an elevator to the second-floor Deluxe room was a major hassle, especially with heavy luggage. The narrow metal stairs were difficult to navigate and felt unsafe. The Deluxe room was spacious and clean, with a decent bed, fresh-smelling sheets, pillows, and towels. The bathroom was clean, and I appreciated the provided toiletries and two bottles of drinking water. Free Wi-Fi worked well, but the TV was old and kept disconnecting from the internet, which was annoying. The air conditioning was a mixed bag—it cooled the room but was positioned on the left wall by the bed, blowing cold air directly on my head. I had to sleep with my head on the footboard to avoid getting a headache. The toilet also had a flushing issue, which was inconvenient. Overall, it’s a budget-friendly option with a great location for airport travelers, but the lack of an elevator, toilet issues, and poorly placed aircon detracted from the experience. I’d rate it 6.0/10—good for a cheap, short stay, but not ideal if you have heavy luggage or need reliable amenities. I’d consider returning for a quick layover but would hope for fixes to these issues."

Housekeeping did a good job keeping everything tidy throughout my stay. The staff were friendly, polite, and helpful. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and they were always willing to assist when needed."

"Elämäni huonoin kokemus hotellissa. Varasin tämän hotellin 3 päiväksi ja 2 yöksi. Ensimmäisen päivän oleskelu on erinomainen. Ei ongelmia ollenkaan. Palvelu on hyvää. Toinen päivä uloskirjautumiseen on pahin. Ilmastoinnin jäähdytys toisena päivänä alkoi lämmetä. Lähdimme hotellista iltapäivällä ja palasimme yöllä. Yllätykseksemme ilmastointi ei yhtäkkiä toimi. Siinä on virheilmoitus FO. En ole tekninen, mutta yksinkertaisella selityksellä, se täytyy korjata teknikon toimesta. Koska tulimme takaisin yöllä, yritin ottaa yhteyttä tämän paikan huoltajaan, mutta ymmärrän, että hän ei voinut enää vastata, koska oli jo yö. Ainoa mitä tein, oli avata ikkunat, koska sisällä ei ollut enää tuuletusta. Oli edelleen kuuma ja olimme kaikki hien peitossa. En myöskään voinut nukkua koko yönä, koska lentokone kulkee 30 minuutin välein ja se on erittäin kovaa siitä lähtien, kun avasimme ikkunamme. "Well ok naman yung room, actually mas maayos sya kesa dati kasi nung una book namin hindi ganun kaayos yung room na binigay sa'min. But the only one problem is dinig mo yung galing labas so if matutulog ka ng Hapon or gabi medyo hindi ka makakatulog ng maayos dahil sa ingay galing labas, but it's ok na din para sa mga naghahanap ng murang Hotel ok na sya."
