Having arrived at st Regis Goa our expectations were high and we were truly looking forward to spending Chinese new year eve. On arrival everything seemed a bit chaotic in the lobby and then I soon found out that they were expecting a wedding and the next day was fully booked because of that. As we got through the day I noticed that the staff were all paying attention mostly to the wedding preparations and not the in house guests. From this hotel I expected a better service to be honest and even the so called special butler assigned to us was responding with delays of almost an hour which is not nice for such a so called high standard hotel. Nonetheless we enjoyed our stay but decided against having dinner at the property because even though I mentioned it is Chinese new year no special do up was done for us so even though I did not expect given that we were in India and they don’t celebrate obviously but since I did mention at check in this would have brought out Regis standards in a big way as they are known for worldwide but no special thing was organized for us. The shower drainage was blocked and I had to unplug the cover just to let the water drain out. This should be checked before guests arrive. Even the towels had this strange odour which only means it was not laundered properly. Otherwise the property is great but they should improve for the standard they portray and the rates they charge. Also another point to note is that while booking through trip.com I booked a better level room and after I paid it was immediately cancelled and refund was provided but strangely when I tried to re-book the price had gone up significantly and this is not a nice thing to do to guests. Now I’m not sure if this was the booking app failure or failure on part of the hotel but notable to mention nonetheless. So I opted for the normal lagoon room instead because I felt cheated and didn’t want to pay more for something that was clearly indicated. Pool was fantastic and room was decent but big mosquito problem on the property. We actually stayed next door the previous night at holiday inn and didn’t notice mosquitos as much as here so beware and get enough repellant. The carpet in the room also needs to be deep cleaned as it was literally black with dirt. Even spider web in the room. Shocking for a Regis hotel. Hats of to the garden cleaning ladies who do a fabulous job and the valet and entrance staff and the guy who gave us a nice welcome and welcome drink. Breakfast was fantastic so speaks volumes of the chefs and staff behind the scenes. Highlight of the hotel no doubt. Best one so far in India!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Courtyard by Marriott in Colva, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. My room was spotless, and the common areas, including the lobby, restaurant, and pool, were immaculate. It’s clear that the housekeeping team takes great pride in their work, ensuring a hygienic and pleasant environment for guests. 3. **Proximity to the Beach**: One of the best features of this hotel is its closeness to Colva Beach. Just a short walk away, the beach is easily accessible, making it perfect for a morning stroll or a sunset view. The convenience of being so close to the beach added a special touch to my stay. 4. **Comfortable Rooms**: The rooms are spacious, well-designed, and equipped with modern amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the balcony offered a lovely view of the surroundings. It was a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. 5. **Dining Options**: The on-site restaurant served a variety of delicious dishes, both local and international. The breakfast buffet was particularly impressive, with a wide range of options to suit every palate. Overall, my stay at Courtyard by Marriott, Colva, was nothing short of fantastic. The combination of excellent service, cleanliness, and the prime location near the beach makes it a top choice for anyone visiting the area. I would highly recommend this hotel to both leisure and business travelers and look forward to staying here again in the future!

Facility is dated and needs serious refresh. Windows have mold and furniture needs cleaned.  Staff are mostly pleasant.  Restaurant is good. Especially breakfast.  Spa is very good (only got foot massage but impressed) In total I could not recommend.

It is a very good property at a nice location. Food is awesome but service is very poor. Breakfast buffet area is not very well maintained with a lot of flies. Zodiac restaurant service is also poor. Good for a 1 time stay but not repeat worthy.

Очень вежливый персонал. Заселение достаточно комфортное и быстрое. Завтраки разнообразные и сытные. Сотрудники, отвечающие за уборку в номерах, очень старательные. Если оставить чаевые, то они делают красивую скатку из полотенец на кровати (лебеди, павлины и др.) Что стоит добавить(улучшить): расшифровку национальных блюд для иностранцев. Не все блюда были понятны по названию

An absolutely delightful stay. I highly recommend this place to everyone and especially those looking to relax and unwind by the beach. Not many places in India are like this. The facilities and staff are all top notch. Very professional and polite. They took care of all our needs without hesitation. There's a nice garden to walk at night, with direct access to beach and security guards on both exits. The resort had very ample variety of food, with different restaurants to choose from. Though perhaps a bit overpriced compared to equally good restaurants nearby. Overall, I wished we had stayed a little longer but already had flights booked. Definitely will come back when I'm back in Goa.

This is a proper 5 star property. They know how to treat their guests. They decorated the room, and arranged a surprise, everything was special. There was a small blunder, but they made up for it, and sorted everything out, a perfect 5 star experience. Also the attached beach by the hotel… is a different sensory experience to wake up to. Very nice old rustic charm , front desk staff was very friendly and helpful . Nice quiet atmosphere and clean beach, good buffet breakfast with nice selection and service. Highly recommend! Raj

Wow! it was a great experience at raj samudra. We stayed there for 2 nights and everything was amazing except dogs are roaming outside the property premises and it's a bit difficult for 2 wheeler travellers. Otherwise, it is a good option to choose near colva beach which is located 1. 9 km from the property. Prince and alex were good when it came to drinks and food service. Finally food is amazing to try rather than going outside and exploring. They are having all the options starting from breakfast to dinner with reasonable prices.

Всем привет, была в этом отеле. Было очень приятно и тихо. Кормили супер вкусно, всегда были приветливые и пытались помочь со всеми вопросами. Брала полный пансион и ни разу не пожалела. Если требуется - отель всегда может приготовить не остро для гостя. Понимаю, что, наверное, многих пугали отзывы про старый фонд-но мне достался весьма приличный номер)
