"Nice rooms facing the sea and lighthouse, there was a staircase that also led to a private beach. Unfortunately, the water supply had issues, but the hotel staff promptly helped to arrange us to be able to shower elsewhere. While slightly inconvenient, it made for memorable experience buggy-ing down a main road."

"Location: Lovely location right by the ocean but a bit far from any fun spots. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the Wanning 日月 beach where there's a lot more fun activities. Services: Great service. The front desk manager TT was lovely and could speak great English thus making communication go smoothly. Amenities: Good but could be better. I think some of the rooms were not used for a long time. The first room I got smelled a bit musty. Also, don't expect new facilities this place looks like it's been around for a long time and it shows. Still, it's charming in all it's rustic glory. I would say the only downside to my stay is that there was no shuttle to the train station. Which is kind of a letdown given that this is a high-end resort. ***If you're a person of colour, I recommend maybe try the two hotels not far from this place. Le Meridien and The Westin I think. I didn't spot any other foreigner during my two days at this hotel until I went to 日月 for a walk and ran into a few of them。It turns out most foreigners stay at the Westin or Le Meridien thus maybe it won't feel too isolating opting for these two hotels rather than this one. All in all, it's a nice hotel to stay if you're on a budget.👍🥂"

"Nice and cozy apartment just off the main road of Riyue Bay, at a very reasonable price. Finding the room at night was a bit hard as there were no corridor lights, and some of the doors needed repair. But once inside the room everything is perfect. Service was wonderful. My butler 管家 was attentive and very responsive, whether in the evenings and mornings. If you're just looking to chill and surf, or for family water activities this lace is great. If you're looking to go sightseeing then it would be worth looking outside the island."

"English: If you’re traveling with a baby or young child, I highly recommend booking a family room. The room is spacious, comfortable, and very family-friendly. We originally booked a room with one bed, but the owner kindly upgraded us for free to a family room, which was a wonderful surprise. The location is excellent. While it’s not within walking distance to the beach, the ocean view is visible at a glance, and the beach itself is very close. Transportation is extremely convenient — the homestay provides a small shuttle, and all you need to do is send a message in the WeChat group. The staff are always quick to respond and ready to take you wherever you want to go. Since we were traveling with a child, we appreciated that the homestay is located slightly away from the bar street. It was the perfect balance — peaceful and quiet at night, without any noise disturbance. The nighttime atmosphere is especially charming — calm, romantic, and truly relaxing. Also, don’t forget to be kind and take care of XiangShu! The cutest puppy from the homestay! 中文： Gift Seaview Homestay 真的可以说是日月湾数一数二的好民宿，风景如画，让人一住就爱上。 如果是带宝宝或小朋友出行，强烈建议订家庭房。房间空间很大，住起来非常舒适。我们原本只订了一间一张床的房型，老板非常贴心，直接免费帮我们升级到了家庭房，真的很惊喜，也很感动。 民宿的地理位置很好。虽然不是步行就能到海边，但站在民宿就能一眼看到大海，而且实际距离海边也非常近。出行完全不用担心，民宿有接送小车，微信群里说一声，小哥小妹马上就到，想去哪都很方便。 因为带着孩子，民宿位置离酒吧一条街稍微远一点，反而刚刚好。晚上非常安静，不会被吵到，睡眠质量很好。 夜晚的景色尤其迷人，安静中带着浪漫，特别适合放松心情、慢慢享受度假的感觉。 千万不要忘记好好对待享墅（狗狗）！ 明年一定还会再来住这里！"

"My ocean view room was good sized and very clean. The frosted glass between the shower and the bedroom was a little weird, because you could make out someone else's body shape behind it. Breakfast buffet had a lot of variety, although the quality of cooked food was just okay. Clientele is almost entirely Chinese, and this is reflected in the 2 main restaurants being Chinese cuisine, and hotel notices being in Chinese without English. We tried both restaurants - Features is way more accomplished than Five Senses, and their service was also better. The two identical gyms are spacious and the equipment felt new. Staff tries to please, although the training and quality is not at international 5-star level. I wish the butler and front desk were more knowledgeable about activities and restaurants in the vicinity. Shimei beach in the Hainan winter is perfect for lounging around in, and for surfing. Signs everywhere warning about undercurrents, and consequently no one swims in the sea."

"太絕了，這個價位住到這麼舒適乾淨房間大游泳池服務好的真的太絕了，一直讚不絕口，特別特別適合自駕遊，比旁邊的很多民宿舒服太多，一直在後悔沒有第一天來住這，非常適合自駕遊，多人旅遊，家庭出行。前台會提前打電話詢問車牌號，幾點過來，到了店長會出來接，服務沒得説，太好了！！！！每個房子還有自己的泳池，水超級乾淨，爽！！"

"設施：房間設施不錯，還帶浴缸了，泡澡相當舒服，美中不足是早上居然停水了、淋浴房下水道下水也比較慢。 環境：自帶泳池，很出片。 服務：提前到了，寄存了行李，希望有房了及時致電，但是並沒有，後續給予了升房體驗，也是相當不錯了。 衞生：挺乾淨的。 總體性價比還是很高的，民宿裏面也算相當不錯了。 網紅兩輪電瓶車使用1小時:沒有體驗。"

"We stayed here for 5 nights and it was lovely. The people who manage this property are incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive. They provide a quick shuttle to and from the beach and local restaurants/shops, which is really convenient. As for the room, it is very clean and cozy with a comfortable bed, great AC, and huge TV. I really like the decor of this hotel both in the rooms and surrounding areas. Our only regret is not getting to use their nice pool more due to some cooler weather. We hope to stay here again one day ☺️"
