Perched on a gentle slope leading up to Uçhisar Castle, this hotel offers one of the most tranquil and scenic stays in Cappadocia. While it doesn’t have the lively buzz of Göreme, it more than makes up for it with peace, stunning views, and a relaxed atmosphere. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a refreshing welcome drink—a chilled lemon juice—which was just the vitamin boost we needed after a long journey. From the terrace, you can enjoy panoramic views of Göreme Valley and even catch a glimpse of Mount Erciyes in the distance. It’s a truly luxurious moment of stillness and beauty. I highly recommend choosing a volcano-view room—waking up to that breathtaking scenery is unforgettable. The rooms are styled in a classic stonework design, echoing Cappadocia’s cave heritage. While I felt the interior could have had a bit more elegance considering the price point, the overall atmosphere was cozy and authentic. One of the highlights was the bathtub with a view—soaking while overlooking the valley is an experience you won’t forget. However, due to the unique layout of hotels in this area—often built into the rock and closely connected—it’s good to be aware of privacy when using open-view facilities like the bath. Breakfast is served as a set plate with a focus on fresh vegetables and cheeses. Eggs can be ordered, but it would be nice to have a bit more variety. That said, having breakfast while friendly cats roam around adds a touch of charm that’s uniquely Turkish. Though the hotel is slightly removed from the center of Göreme, it’s still within walking distance to Göreme National Park if you’re up for a bit of a trek. Along the way, you’ll pass some incredible viewpoints that are well worth the effort—perfect for sunrise or sunset walks."

"地理位置不算好，在一個村莊裡，如果不想折騰還是直接訂格雷梅的酒店比較方便。不過環境沒話説，非常出片，想體驗真正洞穴房的來這裏不會錯；前台小哥很帥，早餐也很好。我們因為到的晚，附近也沒啥吃的，所以還加了頓晚餐，400 里拉一個人，吃的還不錯，土耳其當地餐。"

"Just amazing! We got in touch with the manager fatih before arriving and he gave us lots of useful information on what to do, see, go on tours and buy groceries. The hotel is small, cozy, tastefully decorated and the staff is super nice and helpful. Fatih is fluent in English and speaks a little Chinese and Spanish. Helped us book and amazing balloon ride last minute and at a very affordable price. Breakfast is wodnerful. I asked him for the names of all the cheeaes and olives and dips served to go with warm, crispy ekmek and he kindly explained everything. We were served scrambled eggs one day and menemem the other. The town where it is located, uchisar is easily accessible from the nevsehir airport by shuttle at 250tl per person and a 10 min bus ride from goreme. Would recommend it to any small group thinking of a vacation in cappadocia. Great terrace view where you can see hot air balloons with the sunrise!!"

"- staff are very helpful with booking sunrise/ sunset activities, making it fuss free for us. hot air balloon is a must! - views from the public terrace is lovely - housekeeping is sloppy. the room is not very clean the trash is not emptied at all throughout our 3 days stay. no bottled water refilled daily and they charge 60 lira for a tiny bottle of water at the reception. empty toiletries from previous guests are still in the room… - WC is not ventilated and very sandy not sure if it’s like this for other cave hotels too"

Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen und der Hotelbesitzer und seine Mutter Sibel sind sehr hilfsbereit und unterstützend, auch die anderen Mitarbeiter sind immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir können mit gutem Gewissen dieses Hotel weiterempfehlen. Die Lage, das Frühstück, die Terasse alles prima."

"Location is good and not v good at the same time. Good in terms of the view, not so good because it's way up at the up and you have to walk up the slopes from the town. The main staffs were friendly and helpful, but not so much with the night shift staff. Wasn't helpful when we found dead bugs under the blanket. Handed us new blanket and pillows and expected us to put in on ourselves. Main staff and manager were nice enough to offer compensation, better cleaning, free washing service and complimentary birthday cake and wine."

"I recently stayed at Antique Terrace Hotel in Cappadocia for our honeymoon, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The room was cozy and beautifully decorated for our honeymoon, complete with complimentary wine, which was such a thoughtful touch. The breakfast was delicious with a nice variety to start the day right. What really made our stay special was the staff — they were incredibly friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home. They also arranged our hot air balloon tour, which was a highlight of our trip and something we’ll never forget. And I have to mention the adorable golden retriever at the hotel! I believe it belongs to the owner — such a sweet and charming presence around the property. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Cappadocia!"

"We stayed at the Stone Deluxe room and the view of Goreme town view was absolutely amazing. We were arriving to Goreme by night bus at 4AM so the distance from Goreme bus station (at the heart of the town) and 24hrs reception were some important considerations. Guess what, the hotel was just about 300m to the two center with very accommodating host. And the room was in minty condition (bed a bit squeaky), washroom was clean and the amenities were amazing (even gave shower sponges but had to ask for a toothbrush, fyi). Breakfast is provided at the rooftop restaurant of the hotel, and we could look down at the town (says if weather is nice then can see air balloons from distance). Additional advantages are, lobby has an absolutely adorable and timid puppy name Daisy, and we met a beautiful kitty (with character). FYI I don’t think there is an elevator but rooms are up-to 4 stories high. But the hosts are willing to take the luggage for you. Fortunately we were staying jn the stone deluxe, just 2nd stories and located near the entrance of residential building (there are 2~3 buildings connected and a majority of rooms are in the residential building behind the main lobby building). If I ever come back to Goreme I would choose to stay here again."

The staff have great English and we're incredibly helpful with anything I needed - such as organising tours, transfers, general recommendations. It has so many out side areas to sit with views and cushions Great for 📸s . Bed super comfy and so many options for breakfast"

"Absolutely loved the stay at Ottoman Cave Suites. In walking distance from the bus stop. Arrived at 5am, couldn't check in as room was occupied, but staff were super helpful and allowed us to sleep in a quiet room until the morning and allowed to use washroom facilities and tea/coffee. The room itself was beautiful. Very luxury for the price. Views from the terrace were mind blowing. Loved everything about this stay. Couldn't recommend enough. Thank you to everyone that made this stay super pleasant."
