"Avoid room 109 if you want to sleep well after 10/11pm. The room was sold without the disclaimer that it was right above the DJ booth! An absolute nightmare if you're a business traveller who actually enjoys their sleep! Aside from that, showers were great, room was decent sized and the staff were very helpful"

"Honestly for what we paid it was really good The room is a bit small but it’s cozy It’s clean. And they clean the room everyday The metro is down the street which is easily accessible Supermarket bakery and a fruit shop nearby walking distance"

"Very horrible hotel for black female travellers. I stayed at the Originals with my friend for 3 nights, then another 2 nights. We pre-booked and paid for the 3 nights in FULL before arrival. Upon arrival, we were charged a deposit of €150 Euros which was explained to be a security deposit to be returned after checkout.I had no issues with that and focused on exploring Paris. There was a day my room wasn’t cleaned and I complained to a mixed lady at the hotel reception politely to inform the cleaner and she condescendingly looked at me and blurted “I’m not the cleaner”. I never asked her to be one, I only informed her so she can tell the cleaners to make a stop at my room and refill the shower gel, replace soap and toilet paper. The day I checked out, I missed my flight due to the Paris traffic and had to reschedule my flight to the next available date which was in 48 hours which meant I needs to stay in Paris for another 2 nights. I headed back to the hotel. I don’t know why but our cards refused to work despite being funded. We had some Euros cash left in cash and paid for one extra night. The next day, we asked to extend but our cards wouldn’t work. We informed them that we needed to get some sleep but would try an ATM or go to a BDC to change some Dollars. In between, the cleaner came to the room and yanked off our key card cutting off the light supply, we were barraged with calls from the reception threatening that security was going to escort us out of the room. It’s wild because most of their staff is black and yet they treated us like ****. We saw how white guests were treated and black guests and the difference was clear. Maybe they had an assumption and became discriminatory towards us. Note that 4 nights out of 5 was already paid in FULL and they had a security deposit of over 200 Euros with them. We had to abandon everything and rush to an ATM to withdraw more cash💰 to pay for the final day. Let’s not get into the fact that one of their staff ******* almost tried to be ****** with me. I got into the elevator to go and get water at the restaurant on the 8th floor, he kept looking at my boobs and made suggestive comments about wanting to spend the night with me. He also insisted on a hug. I cried from the experience of that hotel and very horrified. As a travel content creator, I will document my experience with videos when I’m back home and share YouTube videos. If you’re a Nigerian or black woman, please avoid THE ORIGINALS. I was excited to be here but it turned into a nightmare. As a business owner myself and CEO of 3 thriving companies, I saw some many lapses in their customer service. The entire place needs a staff overhaul."

"Great location, easy access to bus and metro. Restaurants next door and grocery store just opposite the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. Marilac and Janilo stayed from 18-21 March 2026."

"Hotel staff was very helpful - anything I need they give (iron, sewing kit, glass for wine etc). Very smiley people 🤓 I had small issue with paying city taxes by card and they let me sort it out during 2 days (I stayed for 8 days so we had time). Room is clean, cleaning team girls done very good job 👌🏻 only small thing my ac isn't working but I had fan in room, sometimes in the mornings it was very hot but I didn't complain at all - just open French doors to balcony to have some fresh morning breeze. I think in August it's can be an issue when it's very hot 😅 but I had beautiful time 2nd week of July. I love neighbourhood - it is very safe, very silent and you don't feel any danger even at late evenings (I travel solo). Definitely I will be back to yours hotel next my stay in Paris! Location is great - metro and all busses around, very comfortable to travel around city and out of it. For guests can recommend Au Bistrot (find it in Google maps, 2 min walk from hotel) - portions are huge, much bigger than anywhere around, especially recommend antrecote!"

"Täydellinen sijainti, mukava, tarpeet kunnostaminen"

"Am from Singapore. Highly recommend this hotel. Great location, walkable to photo spot for Eiffel tower, metro station right across the street, accessible to supermarkets nearby and food options around (incl Macs) with some open till late. Importantly the service at hotel was awesome, reception staff were very friendly and polite and made sure we got all we need. Cosy room but very clean and neat, kettle avail. Coffee and hot drinks were made available 24h too at level 1. Hope they keep it up!"

"The room isn’t quite spacious since the hotel is close to the center and it’s Paris after all , but it’s cozy and clean enough considering the relatively low budget. Definitely a place to consider staying again next time when visiting Paris, especially if the plan is to go out and take a look at the city for the entire day."
