"The room was clean and seemed newly renovated. They offer free public parking, which worked out great for my plans. Breakfast and coffee in the morning were good enough to start the day. The hotel’s also within walking distance of the night market. The only downside was that my room faced the road, so it was a bit noisy from traffic, and I could hear sounds from the next room."

"Difficult to find at night. There's no signage outside that says ”Mulan” and there is no front door or desk. Instead, you walk up a driveway to find the office which resembles a guard shack. You must also let them know every time you return so that they can open the garage door to your unit, allowing you access to your room door. The room was very impressive. Huge and very luxurious. It's a lot space to clean, so I was not surprised that it wasn't spotless, but it was fine. The fish (minnow) pond was very tiny and barely noticeable in the corner of the bathroom. Lights cannot be controlled individually, instead there are set ”scenes” that you must toggle through. Some features in the room were simply not functional (i.e. the Music controls on the bedside table and some of the jacuzzi controls. The breakfast was a mixture of Mcdonald's-type food and traditional ********* breakfast. During my stay, the smoke alarm in the garage was low on battery and chirped all night. I told the staff the next day and instead of replacing the battery they simply removed it, however I could still hear chirping smoke alarms in other adjacent units. Overall it is a great value for the price, despite the few inconveniences."

"Chance Hotel in Taichung is exactly what you’d expect for the price of a 3-star hotel, and there’s nothing to complain about at this price range. The hotel is clean and provides all the necessary amenities. The most important highlight is the location—it’s right next to Taichung Train Station. There are also many restaurants and convenience stores nearby, which makes everything very convenient. Overall, a good value stay."

"we had a great stay at this hotel! the room was huge and had all the amenities you would need, including a standalone vanity. the building itself is old, but i found the furnishings very charming and quaint. we slept very soundly as the walls are made of very noise-dampening solid material, which is rare to see in hotels today. there was a bit of a musty smell when we first entered the room but it seemed to be resolved  by opening a window. the location is super convenient and the staff were gracious during our entire stay."

"Hotel was nicely designed. Location wasn't too bad too, near the bus station we wanted to take to Sun Moon Lake. The footprint of the room is quite small, and had a bit of smell which we think came from the shower curtain. Service was good - staff at the front counter were really helpful and accommodating."

"It’s a unique hotel to solo travellers which was boutique hotel for couples. But it’s so crowded which there’s a super popular not only couples but a family. Staffs were so friendly. They tried to chat via google translate apps but we got it. Clean and king size bed I got slept well and break fast service which was KFC included. Location is pretty rich and sophisticated town where only rich ppl are living in there. A bit strange but no problem with neighbors I guess. It’s surrounded with green parks and a good cafeterias around there."

"Staff are polite and ready to assist. Easy luggage storage and check in. Room facilities are basic, but the bed is comfortable and plenty of hot water for a relaxing shower. However the showerhead was difficult to position and the tub is small so water sprayed everywhere on the floor. Free water bottles are provided. There could be more hooks installed for hanging clothes or personal toiletries. The bedsheets/pillowcases were discolored but not sure if this is related to hygiene or just the bedsheet style/color. They felt clean and didn’t find any weird objects except for some hairs on the pillowcases (the staff helped us replace them)."

"Hi, We love Hotel Mini. Its decor is fun (with mini cars and wall paintings showing the three little pigs and the big wolf), its rooms are clean, warm (with wooden like flooring) and well designed despite the space constraints. The AC works well and the internet connection is strong. The staff is helpful. Overall, it is a very comfortable and pleasant stay for my wife and I, and we will definitely book another Hotel Mini in Taiwan when we return for a visit in future. Regards, Mr Hiew"

"Location is good. Walking distance to major transport and adjacent to factory outlet mall. Room is good size for couple and can add bed or family room. There is curated one day tour trip provided by the hotel and very competitive to outside tour. Tour guide selected and provided by hotel is professional, responsible and accommodating to needs. Hotel Breakfast is quite normal or standard which can be more exciting or international as IHG leh. If one of the day trip is to Lukang, there is bus literally outside the hotel. Walking distance and there is also option of walking to nearby bus stop to take bus to YiZhong street. Also got bus to Fengjia night market, very convenient."
