Every corner of this retreat is a photo opportunity, and every meal is a sumptuous feast. The ancient gate transports you to another world, and the evening white mist enhances the sense of wonder. The house-made osmanthus baijiu, reserved exclusively for guests, is a refined treat that speaks to the thoughtful touches that elevate the experience. The level of care and attention to details here far exceeds the cost, leaving you feeling truly pampered by the generosity of this guesthouse and its staff, who go above and beyond to make you feel like an honored guest. I was particularly impressed by the staff and their evident training. They were polite, enthusiastic, and fully invested in ensuring that guests had a great stay. In similar boutique hotels, you might expect to see more of the owner’s presence. But at Shouzhou, the front-of-house staff take full ownership of running the property, with a level of professionalism that is both refreshing and commendable. Our journey from Qingchengshan to Qionglai and onward to Emeishan was long, but entirely worth it. We are especially grateful to the young front-of-house male staff and his colleague, who graciously offered to drive us nearly 30 minutes to a location where we could catch a Didi to Emeishan. This kind gesture was the embodiment of hospitality at its finest. I hope more people discover this hidden gem and have the chance to experience its uplifting atmosphere for themselves.

Very very very big space. 1 huge living room with kitchen area and 6 bedrooms. Total 4 toilets. Was comfortable and spacious. Cleanliness was generally ok, but some less used areas were dusty and not the cleanest. Heater/aircon in some rooms were not working after turning on for a while. Still would recommend if you have a big group of frienda or family. There are restaurants, lukin coffee, lawson downstairs.

Is one of the best experience of the hotel stay that I had. Is definitely worth the money and can even compete with the five-star hotel services. The only thing is a laundry room has only two washroom and two dryer and it’s not automatic. But it’s free. The breakfast is good. The room is equipped with AI so when you open the door, the curtain in it, TV will automatically on. I love the stay. Thanks for your service. 

It’s located at the Atrium residence building. The location is great. Firstly, You have to contact with the reception downstairs, they are helpful (but can’t speak English), then they will call the owner and pick you up. So the security is great. The room has amazing view. My room has the view of Taikooli. The room is so spacious and full of convenience. There are just one dislike which is the smoke smell in the room. The owner is so helpful, He will explains everything and give you some suggestions(by translating) I wanna thanks him a lot🙏🏻

Spacious and clean rooms. Heater available in the toilet as well. Bonus: daily tea set, good breakfast, pick up drop off within 3km, washing machine with dryer function. Friendly and amazing service as well! One night, we asked for milk for the children and they delivered!

Went during a low season. The hotel was virtually empty except for us, but the staff remained professional. The rooms were a slight letdown on a few points - BUT overall it was extremely enjoyable and downright luxurious in other areas. Overall, a definite recommend. We had a great stay and a great time. Amazing - it's a working tea farm. We woke early to pluck tea leaves for the experience (free but worth 68 yuan) and if you collect enough you can take it to the tea master to then experience frying the tea in a wok to turn the fresh leaves into dry green tea. The tea sachets in the rooms are made by the hotel themselves and taste great. More free experiences are included with the stay, including tea brewing classes and wearing hanfu. I thought it to be incredibly value for money. The private onsen is great and came with a homemade herbal pouch to throw in for a medicinal bath. The rooms are spacious with an excellent view - and I MUST commend the incredible number of light switches which let you have any combination of light ambience. Minor letdowns - mosquitoes will come to you at the alfresco area during mealtimes, I would sit indoors next time. We also had to run the shower for a long while before hot water could come out. The charging sockets are a little iffy with lots of dust in the sockets and some outlets might not be working depending on your luck. The standard sockets mostly work but USB sockets might not. The smart W/C is also slightly malfunctioning but largely works as intended.
