This is the best hotel in Kurokawa! 1. Stuff is kindly meet you, explain everything and help as well as it possible. 2. Ryokan has 6(!) private bathes with different style. No extra payment,, no reservation. You can available status on your TV. During my staying there was at least one ready for use, no time all of them was using. 3. Water. Just perfect, has a right temperature and composition. Just put yourself into the bath and feel relaxed just since that second. 4. Rooms. Clean and fresh. 5. Open-air bath is cool to, for me a bit too hot. And I was the only one who use it during the dinner time. 6. I had only breakfast, but it is service in private room in dinner hall. Very delicious with various of dishes. 7. The hotel located at two sides of the river. Travelers could enjoy a scenic view from the bridge.

my stay at the onset in Hanashoan was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived. we were welcome with warm hospitality that made me feel right at home. The onset itself was modern, new beautifully maintained -peaceful, serene and perfect place to relax and unwind. the traditional atmosphere, combined with the breathtaking natural surroundings, created a truly authentic and unforgettable experience.  the impeccable service provided by the staff. able to converse in English and mandarin. They were attentive, kind, and was ready to help and always assist with a smile. their professionalism and genuine care made this trip incredibly special. I am deeply grateful for their hospitaltiy and would highly recommend this onset to anyone seeking a relaxing and culturally rich getaway.

An absolutely wonderful experience.
The staff at the ryokan were incredibly polite and always ready to help with anything we needed. Upon check-in, we were provided with traditional attire, pajamas, tabi slippers, bath amenities, and a small welcome treat with matcha and coffee. We also asked at the front desk if they could give us a ride to the bus stop after check-out, and they kindly said yes, of course. 
Our room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. At first, we were planning to explore several other local onsens, but after experiencing the ones at the ryokan, we felt completely satisfied. There are separate baths for hotel guests (men’s and women’s), baths open to both guests and visitors (also divided by gender), as well as a private onsen. One of the onsens also has a sauna.
The traditional dinner and breakfast were both impressive—delicious and very generous in portion.
The surrounding grounds are stunning, perfect for peaceful walks. This ryokan is a bit further from the main cluster of inns, but that was exactly what we wanted—to enjoy quiet walking.
At night, our futons were laid out for us, adding to the authentic experience. The only reason I deducted one star is the very bright green light on the ceiling that stays on all night and can’t be turned off or covered. I didn’t have a sleep mask with me, and the ryokan didn’t provide one, so I had a sleepless night. It was quite unpleasant.
That said, I still highly recommend this ryokan—it’s an unforgettable place to stay.

I really liked the hot springs with high iron content in this ryokan: I had sore throat for about 3 weeks before the journey, but it recovered just after the first bath. We also liked that family baths are for free if they are vacant (in the evening there wasn't any problem). The staff is attentive, thank you very much. The food was delicious, and there was more than enough for a man. However, we would recommend choosing a Japanese-style breakfast, since frying eggs on a burner is not very convenient. Nevertheless, everything was delicious. As for the drinks for breakfast, there was only coffee from the coffee machine. But there is always green tea in the room (we had problems with the hot pot, so they brought us a thermos). The only thing we did not like was the heating. However, it is unlikely to do anything with it when it is minus 3 degrees outside at night. Without heating, it was very cold, the floor was cold. But the heating is very noisy, and it is difficult to find a temperature balance. We sweated a lot at night under the blankets, and since the shower is not in the room - it is in the onsen, it was inconvenient. Thanks God, we had spare pajamas with us. Overall, for this cost of accommodation we can give 5 points.

wonderful ryokan, we had a river view from the window. delicious kaiseki dinner and breakfast. totally recommend! tattoo-friendly onsen, but the showers are only on the first floor. the private outdoor rooftop onsen does not have a shower, so it’s better to shower downstairs first; otherwise, it can be quite chilly to rinse yourself outside using the buckets. there is free parking, but the street itself is very narrow and busy with pedestrians; the ryokan staff can help with parking. the staff warned us about the parking situation in advance and advised leaving the car at a free parking lot in the village center, but there were no spaces available.

Mikä täydellinen palvelu mukavien ja ystävällisten omistajien kanssa. Omistaja voi noutaa sinut bussipysäkiltä ilmaiseksi, jos haluat. It’s a good private house. But I’m won’t recommend if weather is cold or raining, or if you’re traveling with young kids. I travelled with my family with two toddlers. The bath and onsen are outdoors, not quite well lit and not well covered. The hot water water pressure is low, and the water is either very hot or very cold. It was a cold, raining and windy that night. It was a horrible experience for us because of the above, and the kids had a lot of trouble taking a bath. And we were worried they might catch a cold. And strangely the door lock of the bath is locked from the outside and not from the inside. Also remember to buy food before entering. We bought ours and cooked our own dinner. Otherwise, it’s a good private house, probably best for adults.

Hyvin perinteinen kuuma lähdehotelli Huone on myös perinteisen talon mukainen. Kurokawa-joella yöllä nukkuminen voi olla hieman hämmentävää niille, jotka ovat herkkiä äänille. Valitsin yhden oleskelun, kahden illallisen, perinteisen japanilaisen kaisekin. Japanilainen ruoka oli täyttävää, mutta ei herkullista Ainoa pahoitteluni on, että huoneen kuuma suihku hajosi äskettäin, koska valitsin alun perin tämän hotellin, koska siinä oli oma kylpyhuone. Mutta lennonjohtaja, Nakanishi-setä, oli erityisen mielenkiintoinen sinä yönä, toisessa kerroksessa oli riittämätön vedenpaine ja veden syöttö katkesi soitti hyvin töykeästi ja sanoi ”hetkinen”, kävin myös kylmässä suihkussa ja vesi loppui puolivälissä, joten ratkaisin asiakkaan ongelman ensin. Tämän jakson myötä voin edelleen myötätuntoa ja ymmärtää. Kun kirjauduin sisään, toinen lihava setä ei ollut kovin innostunut, hieman kylmä ja jäykkä Liian paljon vieraita ja liian kiireinen?

是個遠離塵囂的避世好地方～我住的是複式旅館，有室內跟室外兩個溫泉，室外還有沙灘椅可以曬太陽。可惜我去那天下雨，室外的設施就無福享受嘍🥲只是地理位置有點不便，在黑川溫泉要再搭乘大約7分鐘車程的士才能到達。如果是自駕遊的話，超級推薦來這家喔！

From already travelled to another rakuten villa, I came with high expectation. I can definitely say that the villa is on par with the other ones. It has a very big living space, very well cleaned, newly built, plenty of equipments and amenities. I believe what stands out the most is the private Onsen and sauna, which is not offered in many places. Travelers would want to travel here when there is day light, I went during the night and it was pitch black, the road is narrow, windy and uphill which required high level of cautiousness. Overall a highly recommend this place when travelling to nearby region.
