"Private parking with 800yen per night located just next to the hotel. The restaurant behind serves good food, with an Indian (i think) staff who speaks English helped a lot in ordering. Room is fairly ok with this price."

"I hv requested a king size bed when I booked 6weeks in advanced my stay but they didnt give me a king size bed. The room is tiny with a corridor and separated shower area and toilet. I feel the room design is not efficient and uses up many space which doesnt allow guests to open the luggage. Onsen was good. Their water makes the skin soft and smooth. Because of its hotel capacity there are many guests and onsen area is quite crowded. Breakfast was excellent but they close shape at 9am. You are requested to hv breakfast at either 7am or 8am. That is too early for me. In general nice stay but could hv been better."

"Low-key loved this hotel! The location is super convenient—literally right next to JR Hakodate Station, so getting around the city and visiting the main attractions is really easy.
The staff were super nice and welcoming, always smiling and ready to help. The room was clean and comfy. There’s also an onsen and sauna, which was perfect to chill in after a long day of walking around.
You can also grab free amenities in the lobby, which is a nice touch. Breakfast was honestly so good and unlimited. There were fresh sashimi, salad, fried chicken, fish, pancakes, croissants, and the super tasty Hokkaido milk ice cream. And a lot more—just look at the photos!
Overall, great vibe, great stay. Would totally come back again. 🫶"

VVieraskäyttäjäAuthentic Japanese style hotel that own a hot spring underneath the property. The hotel provides public bath, but private baths are also available for reservation. Breakfast comes in a a personal set and is delicious. The room facing the beach front view hearing sound of the ocean is serene and peaceful. Staff are all friendly and professional.

VVieraskäyttäjäThe hotel has the best location as we could walk pass JR station in a short time to reach which helped us in a very cold and windy day. I loved that they separated the washing basin, toilet and shower room so we didn’t need to wait for others to finish everything. They also provided additional pillows. My favorite part of this hotel was BREAKFAST. I loved their Kaiten sushi. I loved Kani Miso which was one of my memorable sushi of all time. Also, the raw squid was so delicious and fresh. The salmon roe they gave us 1 cup each was so freshhhhh . It made me realize that the real one was this one. The atmosphere in the dining restaurant was so bright and comfy. I definitely go back to this hotel again if I will be in Hakodate.

VVieraskäyttäjäI stayed in a D-Fourth Non smoking room on the 8th floor. The room has a nice view of Mount Hakodate from the balcony and a view of the port from the bedroom window. Room was clean and there is daily cleaning if you ask for it. Cooking utensils are available though no condiments provided. The bath system is electronic and took a while to figure out how to use it. Room was spacious and adequate for 4 of us. What we loved is that while the dryer did not really dry our clothes (separate washer and dryer), the heater in the room was strong enough to dry them and we could borrow a rack from the hotel to hang them out to dry. Only improvement we would like to suggest - we arrived when it was snowing heavily, and as we moved our luggage into the room the floor became wet and dirtied, we had to clean with tissue as there is no floor cleaner available.would be nice to provide self cleaning tools especially since there is a kitchen and things might spill. And also the balcony did not have any ‘balcony’ shoes so it was just too cold to step outside to enjoy the scenary. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Would choose it again if we go Hakodate.

VVieraskäyttäjäI absolutely love Hanabishi Hotel — I had the best 2-night stay here. The hotel is quiet with no large tour groups, and I really enjoyed the traditional feel and relaxing vibes. I tried all of their room types, and my favorite is the futon room with a private onsen. The futon is very comfortable, and the room itself is incredibly spacious.
The staff are friendly and helpful, even assisting me with arranging taxi service. The location is convenient, only about a 10-minute drive from Hakodate Airport. I also loved both the breakfast buffet and the dinner set — they truly pampered me like I was the queen of the world.
The public onsen is beautiful and huge. I will forever choose to stay here whenever I’m in the area.

LLyntyLocation was excellent. 5mins walk fr station. Surrounded with shops, restaurants, convenient stores and the morning market is just 3 mins walk away. Can see the harbour n mountains fr hotel room. Beautiful place. Hotel staffs friendly n helpful to my enquiries.

SSaSaleishaThis is the second time for the consecutive years of our stay. This hotel is the only reason for us to come back to Hokkaido again from last year’s trip. The ocean view in the room accompanied with the sound of tides / wind is peaceful and lovely; and the in-room but semi-outdoor/facing the sea onsen makes everything perfect. Also the lobby sitting area is another fascinating place for stay for a while! The downstairs souvenir shop, nearby walking distance Lawson/ 7–11 makes the location more convenient.
But maybe the expectation was too high after waiting for a year, I was disappointed for this stay several reasons:
1) too strong third hand cigarettes smell in the room, although we opened the window for 24 hours, the smell still lingered
2) check out time is WAY TOO EARLY(10 am) for a leisure purpose of stay
3) the room is clean but not the window, it hinder the view of seeing through the ocean ; and can tell the hotel is old from every corners.
I’ll reconsider to stay again if the price is worth the downside we need to compromise.

JjayvernRoom is spacious and bed is big and comfortable. Love the memory foam pillow as well. Onsen is basic with just one 'pool'.
Breakfast is the highlight of this hotel. You get to choose between 2 restaurants - buffet or Japanese dining. We stayed 2 night so we get to try both. I personally prefer the buffet as the variety and quality of food is really good. My husband prefer the Japanese dining it is less chaotic compared to the buffet restaurant as it has less people.
Location is great. Walking distance to a few tourists attraction.

VVieraskäyttäjäThe front desk was super friendly and welcoming and were so patient when we had trouble asking about parking. The hotel offered on site parking overnight. The room was nicely designed and clean, the bed was comfortable and they had onsens on the ground floor and basement. The highlight was definitely the buffet breakfast. The dining area was quite small so it was a bit crowded when we went but don’t be fooled, there was a huge selection and everything was so fresh and so tasty. Our favourite was the all you can eat sashimi and salmon roe and the freshly made tempura shrimp. I would return just for the breakfast 😛

エエゾシカ伝道師お宿のスタッフの方々の対応か温かく、かつ節度があり、とても心地よく過ごさせて頂きました。
禁煙可能なお部屋が多い中、喫煙者である同伴者は大変喜んでおりました。
加えて、部屋に残るニオイの対応もしっかりとされており、心地よく過ごす事が出来ると思います。
肝心の温泉ですが、源泉のパワーを頂く事が出来る
大満足の温泉です！
