"The gentleman at the front desk had to move me three times to get a room with a working air conditioner during the June heat wave across Europe. This meant managing three luggage on my own. Then, a plumber had to called to fix the non-working toilet. Finally, the dinner (Caesar’s Salad) at the restaurant was sadly unlike ANY such salad I’ve eaten in my 71 years.YUCK! The large window was broken and wouldn’t close all the way, the main door’s chain lock was broken, as well, there wasn’t any food menu or tv instructions in the room, and no toiletries other than shampoo. The positives? Well, the room was very clean, the staff were all pleasant and the wake up call actually worked! Certainly a no frills hotel but very convenient to the airport."

"This hotel was great. It’s next to the main train station and a 2 minute to the metro. The city is a short walk as well. The room was very spacious and mine had a nice view looking out over the port. The breakfast was great as well with lots of options each morning."

"Great location right next to the train station and underground. Great breakfast and the bed is very comfortable. Easy walk to the old town. The only slight comment is the size of the room is a bit small."

"Hotelli sijaitsee suoraan sataman sisäänkäyntiä vastapäätä ja on ihanteellinen sieltä lautalle nousuun. 10 minuutin ajomatka parkkipaikalta sataman sisäänkäynnille. Hotellissa on myös avoin pysäköintialue kolmannessa kerroksessa suuremmille ajoneuvoille. MB Sprinter H2L2 pääsee hädin tuskin kapeasta ajotiestä läpi. Hotelli on siisti ja palvelu on erittäin hyvää. Sinun kannattaa varata suoraan IHG:n kautta. 16 euron aamiainen on hintansa väärti. Pysäköinti maksaa myös 16 € per yö."

"The appearance of the hotel was very good. The reception area was very clean and quiet. Each floor had an automatic air freshener which meant that the hotel smelt very good. The hotel room had a lovely big bed which was very comfortable. There was a fridge and kettle in the room. The hotel was a twenty minute bus ride from the center of Genoa and once we had downloaded the app it was very easy to buy tickets. The number 1 bus is a couple of minutes walk from the hotel and the bus is every 11 minutes. We discovered a lovely area to eat on the day we left. Leave the hotel and turn right. At the traffic lights turn right . After about three minutes you will find a shopping area with restaurants. We were short of time so went to Tumbler. The staff were very friendly and we had lovely panini. On the negative side, we were woken at 6am with a male shouting very loudly in his room. Later that day, the man was shouting again. I went outside our room and the man was shouting very loudly at a lady in his room. There was a very clear domestic abuse situation with the man hitting the woman which I tried to stop and also contacted reception. Reception asked the lady if there was any problem and she said no so the receptionist left. I said to the receptionist that the man was being violent towards the woman and she said there was nothing they could do. I asked if they could put security on the floor in case anything further happened and she said no. I felt the receptionist could have done a lot more in this situation. I imagine that these situations do occur from time to time so the hotel should give staff guidance on the steps to take to safeguard clients. I felt that the staff at the hotel were not very welcoming. I saw at least four receptionist and not one of them smiled or looked happy to be working. Any time I approached them for information they gave the information but without smiling and were very unenthusiastic.. I would stay at the hotel again as it is convenient for the airport and quieter than staying in the centre. It is also very clean and I got a good night's sleep. Be aware, we booked a taxi from the airport which is 1.1 km away and we're charged 18,50 euros."

"Ubicado frente al puerto. Reacondicionado como nuevo. Habitación confortable. Personal muy amable y desayuno muy completo. Hay que tener cuidado de noche, el ambiente no es de lo mejor. Recomiendo el museo del Mar. Hay un tren turístico que hace city tour en frente del hotel, económico 10 euros. Disfruté la estancia. Muy recomendable."

"Сам по себе отель хороший, особенно с учетом того какие отели вокруг. Близко море и станция Nervi. Хороший завтрак. Важно что есть парковка (правда 45 евро в сутки), так как в Нерви припарковать машину почти нереально. Но есть ужасные минусы: - невыносимая вонь в номере. Персонал сказал что от кондиционера, попросил не беспокоится, поставил освежитель воздуха, но ничего не изменилось. - нежелание помочь. После того как было заявлено что в номере ужасный запах, логично было бы предложить другой номер, компенсацию, ну хотя бы что-то. Предложили только не переживать. - единый балкон на много номеров, к нам дважды за проживание заходили чужие большие собаки. Так быть не должно. - очень дорогой ужин в ресторане. В целом это не проблема, но качество еды среднее, не на эти деньги - вода в душе рандомно меняется от ледяной до кипятка несколько раз за пару минут, это нельзя контролировать Очень жаль что в целом такой классный отель допускает такие провалы. При цене 1000 евро за ночь так нельзя."

"This is the best hotel I had ever stayed in Europe. It is an old historical building and all interiors had been renovated. The best part is they had kept a historical lift and overall interiors was beautifully arranged. Location is 5-stars because this hotel is only 6 minutes walk to train station and 10 minutes to central area. Amenities is also 5-stars because this hotel offers a FULL minibar of drinks including two bottles of water, two pop drinks, one bottle of juice and peanuts and they are all free of charge. Shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, soap and shower cap are fully provided. Cleanliness is also 5-stars. We had messed up the room with two big full luggages of things and the housekeroinh had helped us to tuck in our two luggages under the window sill Seevuxe is also 5-stars. We bought two bottles of wines and they provided us with wine glasses and cork with great service. Also it was our first time in Genova, the receptionist had detailedly explained which area we should go and how to go. Overall, it is the best hotel i had stayed so far."
