I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Ibis Styles Liverpool, and a huge part of that was thanks to Fayne, who went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional. We arrived four hours before check-in to drop off our luggage, but Fayne kindly checked us in early—completely free of charge. This thoughtful gesture made such a difference after a long journey. On the day we checked out, she allowed us to store our luggage for longer so we could explore the city until our train time. When we returned to collect it, Fayne even offered us complimentary tea and coffee, which was such a kind and welcoming touch. The hotel itself was clean, stylish, and comfortable, but the staff, especially Fayne, truly made our stay memorable. Her warmth and helpfulness set a high standard for hospitality. We’ll definitely be back, and I’d recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Liverpool!

Brilliant central location. Really friendly reception staff. The room was spacious and well appointed. The additional microwave with dishwasher and fridge freezer were really useful. Nice hot shower, bit on the small side. I didn't eat at the hotel so I can't comment. The gym was more than adequate. Short walk to the docks or in to the city centre. Will definitely stay again.

The room was very, supportive and friendly staff. Check in was very smooth. Nice bar for a drink. The environment was easy to find. Parking was pricy though. But there was a cheaper parking just few minutes walk away

Wonderful helpful staff, a lovely apartment overlooking the water and next door to the M&S arena. Chloe was outstanding in her job by being caring and helpful. Will definitely stay again👍

Really quaint hotel on the outskirts of the city centre. Good location for Anfield and local restaurants/supermarkets. Stayed in one of the apartments. Breakfast basic buffet but ok.

It's centrally located. The beds are comfortable, and the sheets are clean. However, the bathrooms could be cleaned more carefully. The rooms are newly renovated, so there are some shortcomings. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I stayed from **Thursday, August 7 to Saturday, August 9, 2025** — a perfect two-night city escape. Check-in after 3 PM was smooth and welcoming, and the 11 AM check-out time was standard and convenient. The staff were helpful and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The hotel itself (which I could see in the booking thumbnail) had a classic Liverpool charm about it. My room was clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials I needed for a pleasant stay. While not ultra-luxurious, it was well-maintained and provided a cozy base for exploring the city. What I appreciated was the **transparent pricing** — I knew exactly what I was paying upfront (£126.90) and what I'd need to pay at the property (just £4.80). The Trip.com booking process was straightforward, and having their price match and stay guarantee gave me extra confidence in my booking. The app's ”Message Property” and ”Call Property” features came in handy when I needed some local recommendations. The ”Manage Booking” function made it easy to keep all my travel details organized in one place. Is it a five-star luxury hotel? No, but it doesn't claim to be. Phoenix Hotel Liverpool delivers exactly what it promises: a comfortable, well-located place to stay at a reasonable price point that lets you experience the best of Liverpool without breaking the bank. **Would I recommend it?** Absolutely! If you're looking for a centrally located hotel in Liverpool with good amenities and friendly service, this place ticks all the boxes. Really lovely hotel , beautiful big rooms with a comfy bed , all you need with a fridge, hairdryer and even robes. Breakfast was cold so I would not recommend that but hotel is great and shops and fast food venues 5 minutes walk away.

I arrived late in the middle of the night from the Liverpool airport and couldn't check-in until around 7-7:30 a.m. I was mostly grateful to just have a place to lay my head down and catch up on some much needed sleep. Thankfully, the family that runs the hostel was very friendly and supportive when I came in. Everyone at the hostel was very nice and I felt ”at home” right away. I appreciated that. I certainly enjoy the feeling of being ”welcomed” rather than feeling uneasy and watched which can happen in many other cities and countries. Like others have mentioned, the overall building could use some renovations but it is sufficient enough for one or two nights. The location is ideal. If you are looking to get a quick glance or preview of the center of the city, it is very convenient to walk to. I was glad to have access to most of the main sites as well as the waterfront (near the Tate and Liverpool Museum) by foot without having to get on a bus.
